Delta Goodrem made it through to the Eurovision final in Vienna and the woman who made it happen is Sydney designer Nicky Velani from Five Dock, who spent 500 hours hand-crafting Delta's gown featuring 7,000 Swarovski crystals. It’s that time of year again when sequins, smoke machines and yelling “douze points!” at your TV somehow counts as a sport. Eurovision is officially back. In 2026 we are heading to Vienna, Austria and yes Australia is back in the mix. This year Delta Goodrem is flying the flag, set to perform in Semi Final 2 tomorrow.

Award-winning singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem is representing Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest, with her song Eclipse. Eleven years on since Australia officially joined the globally-adored song contest, there are high hopes for Delta's performance. Attracting an audience of 2.2 million Australian viewers last year, all eyes will be on the star as she takes the stage in Vienna on Friday morning Australian time. The Australian superstar Delta Goodrem is touring Europe and of course she had to stop by in Amsterdam for Eurovision in Concert. We caught up with her prior to the show to talk about how it has been to get into the Eurovision community, how it compares to the other things she's done in her long career and we also tried to get some insights into the staging in Vienna.

Originally from Merrick, NY, Marc Slutsky built his reputation as both a touring and studio drummer, working with a wide range of internationally recognized artists.

Marc first gained broader visibility performing with Splender, a late-1990s/early-2000s alternative rock band signed to Columbia Records. The bands first album “Halfway Down The Sky” was produced by Todd Rundgren. The group achieved chart success with their singles “Yeah, Whatever” and “I Think God Can Explain,” helping establish Marc as a solid and expressive drummer. Splender made a second album on Clive Davis's J records “To Whom It May Concern” which featured Slutsky's drumming further.

After Splender, Slutsky became a highly in-demand touring and session musician. Over the years he has performed, recorded, or toured with artists including: Peter Murphy, Bauhaus, Adam Ant, Puddle Of Mudd, Kylie Minogue, Delta Goodrem, The Calling, Sons Of Silver, Alexa Ray Joel, Tom Morello (RATM), Terri Nunn (Berlin), Lou Gramm (Foreigner), Hugo, Gavin Degraw In addition, Slutsky has appeared extensively on TV including shows such as X-Factor, The View, Good Morning America, Queen Latifah Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Last Call with Carson Daily, Late Show with David Letterman, Wendy Williams Show, 2010 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting (NBC) with Kylie Minogue, and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
