Far-right political activist and longtime Donald Trump ally Laura Loomer has issued a fresh threat against conservative podcaster Tucker Carlson -- and called out the Trump administration's "terrible optics" -- escalating a public feud that has intensified as Carlson continues making visits to the White House. Posting on X, Loomer warned she plans to release damaging information about Carlson's family. Loomer also criticized Carlson's appearances at the White House, suggesting they have political consequences for the Republican Party. "SPOTTED: Tucker Qatarlson is currently at the White House, where he is attending President Trump's meeting with oil executives to discuss how to acquire the largest oil reserves in the world in Venezuela," she wrote, adding, "This is outrageous. Loomer further accused Carlson of damaging GOP fundraising and voter support, writing, "Every single time Tucker Qatarlson visits the White House, the GOP has less donors and less voters." Hall of Fame coach Jimmy Johnson joins the show and doesn't hold back on Bill Belichick being left off the first-ballot Hall of Fame, calling it absolutely ridiculous. Jimmy downplays the Spygate scandal, saying many teams around the league were doing similar things, and speaks highly of Belichick's love for the game and coaching ability. He believes Belichick will get in next year but says it's still disappointing it didn't happen right away. Jimmy also shares his thoughts on the Canes landing Darian Mensah and weighs in on the Bills hiring Joe Brady as head coach.

Craig Carton and Chris McMonigle react to the shocking news that Philip Rivers interviewed to become the Buffalo Bills head coach — and Carton loves the idea. The guys tear into AFC East ownership, explain why Terry Pegula is a problem in Buffalo, why Jets fans shouldn't fear the Dolphins or Bills, and why the Patriots' run is being massively overrated. Plus, Carton debates whether quarterbacks make the best head coaches, calls the Patriots “paper tigers,” previews Patriots vs Broncos with Jarrett Stidham, and welcomes Mark Schlereth for an all-time interview filled with football insight and classic WFAN insanity.
The Bills' end-of-season press conference, led by owner Terry Pegula and president/GM Brandon Beane, turned into a public relations disaster. Rather than offering a clear plan or unified message after firing head coach Sean McDermott, the event quickly devolved into blame-shifting, confusing narratives, and emotional oversharing. Pegula openly described firing McDermott based on an emotional reaction to the recent playoff loss, recounting how he saw quarterback Josh Allen “crying” and decided to pull the trigger on a coach who delivered years of winning seasons. He also publicly blamed McDermott and the coaching staff for drafting wide receiver Keon Coleman — a claim that both contradicted conventional accountability norms and put an active player in an awkward spotlight. That kind of public airing of internal disputes is rare at the NFL executive level. Bills leadership seemed defensive and inconsistent, at times undermining each other's authority and revealing more about internal dysfunction than any coherent vision for the franchise. Even some reports suggest players — including Allen — were reportedly unhappy with how the situation was presented and that Allen wasn't consulted before the firing was announced. Against that backdrop, the Cincinnati Bengals immediately appear more disciplined and stable. The Bengals' leadership, including owner Mike Brown and coach/performance staff, have a reputation for not spectacularly botching press interactions or publicly airing internal frustrations. While Cincinnati isn't perfect and sometimes keeps tight lips, the team avoids public spectacles that make front office dysfunction look like a headline story — which is exactly what happened in Buffalo. Fans and pundits alike now point out that even if Bengals executives aren't exuberously communicative, they've never staged a press event that spiraled into a spectacle of blame and contradictions. In short, Buffalo's chaotic press conference unintentionally raises the bar for what we consider “competent communication” in the NFL — and by that measure, the Bengals look organized by comparison. Bobby Hurley has reached his breaking point with ASU, and the Cardinals' search remains frozen. On today's Episode 630 of The Valley Verdict, we break down the fallout of the West Virginia loss, the organizational shift needed for the Arizona Cardinals, and a film study on the development gap between the Suns' top sophomores. In this episode:11:57 - Bobby Hurley's "Breaking Point" Presser: We analyze the 2-minute and 11-second "matter of fact" rant from Bobby Hurley after the 75-63 loss to West Virginia. From "my voice isn't working" to "we got punked," we look at the posture of a coach who says he has failed this group.27:37 - Cardinals: The Warner Blueprint: Expounding on the organizational shift Michael Bidwill must make. We discuss why the Cardinals need "Gray Beard"—the nickname Ron Wolfley famously gives to Kurt Warner—or a leader like Carson Palmer to lead this football search as President of Football Operations. Plus, the shift in QB philosophy: targeting the "pocket-passing QB who can run."35:40 - Suns: Jalen Green & The Minutes Balance: Reacting to the Suns' victory in Philly. We discuss Wolf & Luke's take on Jalen Green being the "real trade deadline" acquisition and react to Burns & Gambo's concerns about Jordan Ott maintaining the rotation balance with Green's return.49:48 - Film Room: Ryan Dunn vs. Oso Ighodaro: A deep dive into the tape and the stats. We look at Ryan Dunn's best plays from the 24/25 rookie season to identify the "Hesitation Gap" in his current game compared to the high-IQ efficiency Oso Ighodaro is bringing to the second unit.Follow The Valley Verdict:Facebook: [@thevalleyverdict]Instagram: [@thevalleyverdictpodcast]YouTube: [@thevalleyverdict]
The guys reacted to speculation that Mario Cristobal could be worked into the mix of Steelers coaching candidates. There's also a report out there from ESPN that some coaches are worried about the Steelers job because Art Rooney II is ‘cheap' and the organization needs to bump up salaries and size of staff. We will find out something when the new coach is hired – if it was a Rooney money thing or a Mike Tomlin thing when it came to staff size. Imagine if someone like Chris Shula said ‘no' to the role because he knew his staff would have limitations. Shouldn't the Steelers have savings from not having to pay Tomlin anymore?

Steve Palazzolo from the 33rd Team joined the show. Steve laughed at Mario Cristobal being a name thrown around for the Steelers job – suggesting Curt Cignetti as the only college coach in this cycle he would expect to get looks. Steve talked about a few teams that don't send personnel to events like the Senior Bowl and NFL Combine. Steve doesn't understand how Mike McCarthy would make sense with this job. Steve thinks it could be too early for someone like Nate Scheelhaase as a head coach and he wants to see him work as an offensive coordinator first. Steve pointed out some key differences in Fernando Mendoza and Will Howard, the latter called an ‘OK' prospect by Steve. Steve got into the arm talent and strength traits that don't often slip through the cracks if there isn't much more to their game, like Anthony Richardson in comparison to Josh Allen. Should the Steelers call Sean McDermott? Steve said Yes. Donny Football Debrief – NFL awards finalists have been announced.

Hour 3 starts with a brutal scorecard check on the show's MLB free agent predictions, as everyone whiffs on Alex Bregman landing with the Cubs. Then it turns into full-blown “Head Coach Vacancy Bingo,” with rapid-fire picks across the league and a heavy Giants focus as the crew debates John Harbaugh vs. Kevin Stefanski, plus the looming possibility of a Mike Tomlin breakup in Pittsburgh and who could replace him. The hour also features a troll-heavy “Aaron Rodgers 5 Greatest Career Accomplishments” list that spirals into a Jets expectations argument, followed by Rodgers' postgame comments defending Mike Tomlin and taking shots at media “experts.” On the baseball side, the Mets get linked to a short, mega-AAV Kyle Tucker offer, then Jeff Passan's report drops with Nolan Arenado finally getting traded. Plus, a classic Evan social moment: Sean Morash compared to a Cabbage Patch Kid, with the receipts. #EvanAndTiki #Giants #JohnHarbaugh #MikeTomlin #AaronRodgers #Jets #NFLCoachingCarousel #MLBHotStove #Mets #KyleTucker #NolanArenado #WFAN

In this high-energy segment, Marc "Moose" Malusis dives into the boiling-point frustration of New York football as both the Giants and Jets stagger toward the end of a disappointing 2025 season. Moose takes a blowtorch to the idea of hiring "legacy" names like John Harbaugh or Mike Tomlin, arguing that New York needs fresh, innovative minds rather than "talent merchants" riding past glories. The discussion heats up as Moose shuts down "oxygen-wasting" hypotheticals about drafting new quarterbacks, firmly backing rookie Jaxson Dart as the Giants' future while demanding a coaching staff that can actually develop him. From the potential firing of Pete Carroll in Vegas to the "mercenary" return of local radio personalities, Moose leaves no stone unturned in this unfiltered look at a New York sports scene in desperate need of a total overhaul.

Who even knew T-Mobile still had 3500 employees at 119th and Nall in Overland Park at what used to be the Sprint Campus? Well, the Royals now controll it all and T-Mobile says the owners are not allowing T-Mobile to stay after their lease expires in 2029. We all know what that means. RUNDOWN Mitch opens Episode 361 barely able to speak. Area code 361, is a surprisingly stacked Corpus Christi résumé — from Farrah Fawcett's iconic poster-era fame to Eva Longoria, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Lynyrd Skynyrd's longtime keyboardist Billy Powell. The college football playoff drama continues, Notre Dame spent weeks ahead of Miami in the rankings only to get leapfrogged on a Saturday when neither team played — and then "boycott" bowl season in peak Irish fashion. From there they pivot to the Seahawks' 26–6 win in Atlanta, breaking down Sam Darnold's Jekyll-and-Hyde day (ugly first half, near-perfect second), Rashid Shaheed finally becoming a real factor in the passing game, and rookie safety Nick Emmanwori looking like a heat-seeking missile on an already elite defense. Rick breaks down a wild Selection Sunday, starting with the baffling late flip that dropped Notre Dame behind Miami despite neither team playing — a move he believes was driven more by ACC politics than football. He argues Alabama should've been penalized for an awful SEC title game showing, outlines why championship games now feel meaningless, and even says this version of Alabama "has no chance." Mitch, Brady, and Jacson break down Seattle's 37–9 dismantling of the Falcons, a performance highlighted by back-to-back games without allowing a touchdown and the defense's most dominant two-week stretch since 2014. Devin Witherspoon and Nick Emmanwori delivered superstar-level days while the returns of Julian Love and Jarran Reed stabilized the unit even further. On offense, Sam Darnold shook off a miserable first half and exploded for 182 yards and three touchdowns after halftime. Mitch brings Brady and Joe back together for the first Mariners No-Table since the season ended in Toronto, diving straight into Seattle's early offseason headline: the five-year, $92M Josh Naylor deal — a rare moment where the Mariners actually did what "everyone agrees they should do." The guys break down why the front office moved so fast, whether it was an overpay, and what it signals to the clubhouse and the league. From there, they examine the next dominoes (Polanco, bullpen additions, third base uncertainty), debate Cole Young's floor vs. ceiling, unpack the Harry Ford trade, and even entertain the dream-but-unlikely scenario of trading for Tarik Skubal.
