What actually changes when someone upgrades their subconscious patterns… and their business suddenly begins expanding faster than expected? In today's episode you're hearing directly from my client Chelsea, who is a licensed therapist turned creator and business mentor who has experienced powerful shifts inside this work.In a matter of months, Chelsea grew an online community to nearly 15,000 people, sold out her private coaching with high-calibre clients across industries like engineering, and built an offer suite designed to normalise consistent five-figure months, all while raising two young children and designing a business that supports her life.Inside this conversation, we explore: • How Chelsea grew an online community to nearly 15,000 people in just a few months, and what changed internally before that growth started happening • The subtle shift that led to her private coaching selling out with high-calibre clients in industries like engineering • The offer suite she designed to normalise consistent five-figure months while still creating space for family life • The subconscious thought pattern we uncovered around followers and visibility and why it was quietly shaping her behaviour online • Why high-performing entrepreneurs often hit invisible ceilings even when they know exactly what to do nextIf you've ever felt like you know what you want to create… but something internally keeps slowing the process down… this episode will give you what you need. Send a textAfter six years travelling Australia full-time, we've learned that a lot of the advice new travellers receive focuses on the wrong things. At the recent Victorian Caravan & Camping Supershow, we presented a session called What Matters Most When Touring Australia, sharing the lessons we wish we'd known before we started. In this episode of the podcast, we unpack that presentation and talk through the three areas that genuinely make the biggest difference to safe, confident and enjoyable travel. We chat about:• Why education and preparation before you leave is more important than buying more gear• The communication tools and apps that can make travel safer and easier• Why awareness beats accessories when it comes to staying safe on the road• The simple checks and habits that experienced travellers rely on every day If you're planning your first trip around Australia—or you're already on the road and still figuring things out—this episode will help you focus on the things that actually matter. We've also just released our new Touring Australia for Beginners Guide, which expands on everything we discuss in this episode and brings all the essential information together in one practical digital guide. You can grab it here, HALF PRICE LAUNCH SALE ONLY $9.95!
Send a textThis time last week, the US and Israel weren't at war with Iran, alas, the very next morning the bombs started dropping. Terrific (not)! It's been absolute chaos since, with the narrative of the “why” probably the most chaotic it's ever been, because why did this war start? Pre‑emptive self‑defence against Iranian attacks? Yes and, because Israel started it and we had to follow? Yes and, stopping Iran's nuclear and missile programme? Yes and, protection of allies / collective defence? Yes and, regime change and “freeing the Iranian people”? Yes and, because Iran is a “global danger”? Yes, and we could go on, we've heard it all. While we will certainly cover a lot more news, the first hour will be focused on this war and what it really means, with a special focus on war, oil, and the economy. We will discuss the war crime of a girls primary school in Iran being bombed which resulted in the deaths of more than 160 people, mostly children, as well as the fact this war is being supported within the US military by Christian Nationalists attempting to fulfil a Biblical prophecy, which will spur the second coming of Christ. Yep, that's in the mix too. Joe Augustin can't be with us this week, and Richard Busellato can only join for the first 45 minutes, so we are bringing in a former guest as co-host this week, Oliver Gill. Ollie is also keen to discuss the UK rivers raw sewage issue, which has gotten a lot of attention, following the release of the new drama/documentary: "Dirty Business". It will be great to get a local insight on this critical issue. It's definitely been an intense week for all of us, as we come to terms with another war, but this one has the potential to end in absolute global calamity. Join us as we bring the story together as much as we can. It's all happening this Friday 6th March 2026, at 7am UK, 8am EU, 11am UAE, 2pm TH, 3pm SG, 6pm AEST. Streaming across various locations, and no doubt about it, we'd love your support. The Sh*t Show is a Livestream happening every Friday, where Andrea T Edwards, Dr. David Ko, Richard Busellato and Joe Augustin, as well as special guests, discuss the world's most pressing issues across all angles of the polycrisis, working to make sense of the extremely challenging and complex times we are all going through, plus what we can do about it. Help us move the needle so we can change the name of the show to something more genteel when (or if) it is no longer a sh*t show. #TheShitShow #UncommonCourageYou can find me Andrea T Edwards | The Digital Conversationalist and Welcome - Uncommon Courage - An Invitation. Hello, and welcome to Sunday and QNEWS. I'm John VK4JPM, Secretary of the Darling Downs Radio Club, where lots is happening, starting at lunchtime today when we're heading to Picnic Point to do some more practical work on antennas. And you're invited. We heard a rumour that some of us are a bit scared of HF operation, and haven't had enough experience tuning random long wires. So... we figured that now is as good a time as any to go and learn a bit. Check out the website at ddrci.org.au and look for the calendar entry on the home page for 8 March - that's today. All the details for how to find us is in that article, but essentially, we'll be just over the hill from the Picnic Point cafe. Between 1200 and 1630, we're going to be lobbing wires, tuning, testing transmitters, talking a bit, testing some more... lot of "t" words, apparently. Between tests and QSOs, we'll have some coffee and a bit of BYO picnic lunch. Also, Picnic Point is a POTA location, so you can get on air and rack up a few contacts. If you let us know in advance, we might be able to run a licence assessment because everything will be in place. Send an email right now to education@ddrci.org.au so that we know you're interested. This is all in aid of preparation for the John Moyle Memorial Field Day, which is the major topic for our monthly club meeting tomorrow night. This is a natter and prep night, so we don't have a guest speaker. Just come along at 1900 at the Scout Hall in Newtown, find out what the club is doing, and have a relaxing cuppa and some timtams. Then we'll discuss our plans for the John Moyle field day, which is in only two weeks. The Zoom will be available online from 1900, so look for the link on the website and join us even if you can't be in the room. The John Moyle Memorial Field Day itself runs over a whole weekend, but traditionally our club enters for the first six-hour block on Saturday 22 March from 1100-1700. It's a whole-of-club activity, and we need your help and participation. Last year was fun, relaxing, educational, and successful. We need to defend our honour for this one, and you can read all about that on the home page too. So did you get all those dates down? Today at Picnic Point for a practical field antenna setup session; tomorrow, Monday 9 March, for the monthly Club Meeting where we'll talk about what we learned and do some planning for the John Moyle Field day, and Saturday 21 March for the actual field day exercise. Two other quick items. The club will be represented with a table at Redfest on 11 April, now only a month away. We're taking down some gear to sell, and if you can't attend but would like us to sell some gear on your behalf, send a note to secretary@ddrci.org.au and over the next few weeks, we'll work out how to get the gear transported. Lastly, have you checked out the 52-week Ham Radio Challenge at hamchallenge.org? This week's entry is simple and delightful: it's what the Germans call "Großreinemachen", which literally translates into English as "great magic cleaning"... Großreinemachen is the week 11 challenge, where you are tasked to tidy up all the cables in the shack - what a lovely idea. It's optional to unscramble the collection behind your desk, and the fearful spaghetti behind the TV. So much easier than whistling CW. Check the club website at ddrci.org.au for links, and send an email to secretary@ddrci.org.au if you have questions. Until next week, thanks for listening - for the Darling Downs Radio Club, I'm John VK4JPM. If it's Sunday morning, the club 2m net follows at 1000 AEST. 73s!

So was it really the price?Or was it your positioning… your subconscious… or the identity you're still operating from?In this episode, I respond to a listener question about a client who raved about her work then objected to the price. And what we unpack is deeper than sales strategy.Because when someone says, “It's too expensive,” it's rarely about money. It's about perception. It's about identity. It's about the energetic standards you're unconsciously available for.Inside this episode, we explore:The two layers behind every price objection and why most entrepreneurs only ever address oneHow your subconscious fear of the outcome (yes, even success or visibility like public speaking) can quietly sabotage your pricingThe concept of ecology and how achieving your next level might be conflicting with your hidden value hierarchyWhy pricing “lower to be safe” actually reinforces the very rejection you're trying to avoidThe psychology of perceived value and why underpricing can reduce demand instead of increase itThe uncomfortable question: if it was “too expensive”… was it actually positioned as premium? If you've ever been frustrated because a client loved your work but didn't move forward, this episode is for you.Secure your place in The Art of Allure: A 90 minute online class where you will master the three steps to become the luxury brand high paying clients choose. This wretched and vile man had the blood of hundreds, even thousands of Americans on his hands,” President Trump said in the video that was posted to Truth Social. “The entire military command is gone.”
Send a textIt's time to get back in the ring after a decent break and reset, which we always do up until after Chinese New Year, BUT what a time to have a break! Every day, multiple stories all deserving major breaking news status, and because of that intensity we risk what matters most getting lost, and what doesn't matter gets the attention. That's why this time is so challenging, but there is a design to the overwhelm. It's strategic and powerful (flood the zone with shit, right?), so we have to keep on top of it. It's just the four of us for our first show, and what are we going to discuss? Well, what do you want to know about? We've got a climate on steroids with a “Hot House Earth” predicted, especially with the next El Nino on the horizon. We've seen the shenanigans in Venezuela, Greenland and Iran, elections in Japan, Bangladesh and Thailand amongst others, a stock rally, Bitcoin tanking, and the US Department of War looking to punish AI companies that don't want to play the game. We've got space junk with hundreds of thousands of new satellites confirmed for launch, Mexico exploding after El Mencho was killed this week, the Board of Peace, Trump bowing out of the EPA, incidentally just when the link between Alzheimer's and pollution has been scientifically quantified, Brazil ending it's moratorium on deforestation for farmland, Tourette's in the spotlight, misogyny too, and a global reckoning for those linked to Epstein, which is not happening in the US… yet. We didn't even mention AI evolution, which is going off the charts, in every possible way. All that and more as we kick off the show for 2026, where you'll get a comprehensive recap of the year so far. In this deeply reflective episode, Marianne Williamson explores midlife not as decline, but as an awakening — the moment many women quietly realise time isn't endless, and something inside starts asking for a truer life. We talk about why some women feel stuck while others come alive in midlife, and Marianne reframes menopause as a “second puberty,” where biology, life load, and inner truth converge. We discuss how this chapter can bring a new kind of freedom: less performing, more honesty; less pleasing, more peace — and a return to what matters most. A big theme throughout is kindness — toward ourselves, toward our bodies, and toward others. Marianne shares how kindness isn't weakness; it's clarity, strength, and a daily practice that helps us soften the inner criticism many women carry. This conversation is an invitation to slow down, listen inward, and step into midlife with more meaning, wisdom, and calm direction — not fear. Topics Midlife as an awakening rather than a crisis Why some women thrive and others feel stuck Menopause as a “second puberty” Identity, purpose, and letting go of performance Inner guidance, stillness, and prayer Reclaiming elderhood, wisdom and authority The message: You are not behind. You are right on time. Hi. Thanks for joining the Darling Downs Radio Club QNEWS segment - it's most likely Sunday, 8 Feb, and I am very pleased to be back in the land of the living. Tomorrow night, Monday 9 February, is the first of our member and tech meetings for the new year, and the topic is tada antennas. You can join us in person or by telepresence, and if you do, it's going to be just like being in the room with the rest of us... Although people in the room get tea, coffee and tam-tams, because we're that sort of group. Antennas are a very broad topic, with lots to know, lots to learn, and lots to swap. Tomorrow night, we'll do all of that, using a discussion format where we want to know what's worked for you, and what hasn't. Along the way, we will investigate verticals and beams, matching, DX and local, transmitting and receiving, and both well-known and more obscure options. Club member Bob VK4ZOW has been playing with yagis using the bent driven element, and has tales of amazing DX using yagis from two elements up. There's a bit about that on our website in the invitation to the meeting, and it's worth a read. One discussion I'm looking forward to hearing: what are the recommendations for a decently working antenna that can be installed on a suburban block? That's increasingly important as some of us transition from the family home to community living, where a tower might not fit. Bring along your experience, your trials, tribulations and failures, and we'll have a great discussion. That's at the District Scouts HQ in Newtown, Toowoomba... 10 Victory Street. All the details are on the website, so easy to find. The meeting will start at 1900 AEST to give us time for a bit of a club update; we've been pretty busy over the break, as regular listeners will know. Things are going well, and there are a heap of questions that we'd like to ask you, so we can shape what's coming up this year. We're scheduling several projects, and now is the time to open discussions for the Club's entry in the John Moyle Field Day, only six weeks away on March 21. If you're listening to this and you're not a member, then a reminder that the discount rate is 50% off right now - that's for all memberships - so full individual is only $20 right now. Pensioner, student and youth memberships are even less. And the family membership is also discounted. Before I go, have you been following the HamChallenge? Details are on our website, or you can go directly to hamchallenge.org. This is week six, with a very curious challenge to whistle a digi or CW QSO. In case that sounds too hard, there is a very big hint on how you could make either of those modes possible. And like travelling to Melbourne, getting there is half the fun. Amateur radio is about experimenting and discovery, which is what the Ham Challenge is designed to encourage. We think it's a pretty cool program. So all that again: tech and member meeting tomorrow evening from 1900 AEST - and everyone is welcome whether in person or remotely informal lunch on Sunday 22 Feb put 21 March in your diary and plan to join us and help with the John Moyle Memorial Field Day, and there's no better use for $20 right now than a quick press of the "join" button on the website. The website is at ddrci.org.au, and if anything is weird we're listening via the contact form, or secretary@ddrci.org.au. I'm probably not going to be able to reply if you try to get me via whistling DIGI or CW, but it's worth a go. Who knows? The Club 2m net follows at 1000 eastern on the club repeater VK4RDD. Thanks for listening. I'm John VK4JPM and how about I see you tomorrow night? 73.
Is suffering actually required for success… or have we just been conditioned to believe it is?In this episode, I share my unfiltered take on the recent interview between Alex Hormozi and Tony Robbins, and the moment that stopped me in my tracks. This conversation is for high-performing women in business who are building more, holding more, and quietly wondering why success can still feel heavy. In this episode we explore: The subtle way suffering gets reframed as “necessary” in high-performance culture, and why that belief may be costing you more than it givesThe difference between growth discomfort and self-created struggle (most people don't know they're confusing the two)Why so many ambitious women hit their goals… then feel empty, stressed, or disconnected afterwardsThe daily and weekly rituals I use to prime my internal state to hold more money, responsibility, and visibility, which is required to grow to 7 figures This is the roadmap to ensure you can actually hold onto the success you create in your business (instead of being in a constant yo-yo)Secure your place in The Art of Allure: A 90 minute online class where you will master the three steps to become the luxury brand high paying clients choose. Send us a textCassowaries stole the cheese and the show, but the real suspense came from a 37-degree towing day that finally put our LandCruiser 300 to the test. We headed to a tiny tropical gem—Ettie Bay—where rainforest brushes the sand, nippers train under the red and yellow, and a modest fish and chip shop serves Spanish mackerel good enough to plan lunch around. It's the kind of place that feels untouched: tight beachfront sites, a fenced playground in view of your awning, and day visitors swinging in hammocks between the palms. It's also the kind of place that demands respect—stinger nets, seasonal jellyfish, croc sightings, and cassowaries that will happily admire their reflection in your shiny 4WD.Between swims and sunset patrols, we built our favourite warm-weather ritual: Facos. Think soft tortillas, crisp salsa, pickled heat, and a burst of local mango folded around fresh crumbed Spanish Mackerel. Stocking up at a roadside stall outside Innisfail turned lunch into a celebration of pineapple-sweet air and sticky mango fingers. It's fast, fresh, kid-friendly, and exactly what beach camping calls for after a morning of sand and salt. Then we turned to the data everyone keeps asking for. After six months and nearly 20,000 kilometres towing a 3.6-tonne family bunk van, we share temps, gearing, and upgrades that matter. With Just Autos tuning onboard, a ScanGauge watching coolant and transmission temps (and a plan to add EGT), we saw 85–87°C on regular days, 92–94°C in the heat, and 102°C on steep climbs in a lower gear—no alarms, no fade, no drama. Seventh gear for a 1:1 ratio keeps the transmission happy; dropping gears on hills manages load and heat. We also cover weight balance, stability, and the importance of booking services ahead with trusted partners like Cutler Diesel Performance in Townsville. All of this ties back to a simple truth: choose curiosity over comfort. Wild places reward the prepared traveller, good food elevates simple nights, and real-world data beats internet hot takes every time. If you're weighing up the Geelong Caravan and Adventure Leisure Fest, we explain why a $15 ticket can be the most efficient way to compare rigs, tech, and trends in one hit.Love the show? Follow, share with a mate planning their lap, and leave a review with your best beach meal tip or towing question—we'll feature our favourites next week.As a massive thank you to our podcast listeners we're offering a 50% discount on RV First Aid! Send us a textA tropical creek you can actually drink from, a camp kitchen by the water, and paddocks lined with rambutan and mangosteen trees—Paradise Camps lived up to its name and then some. We set up under the palms, met the hosts who made it feel like home, and used this Hipcamp haven as a launchpad for Babinda's best: the legendary bakery, a small but rich community museum, and short drives to Josephine Falls and the dramatic, cautionary beauty of Babinda Boulders. No crocs in the creek, just cold, clear water that wakes you up and reminds you why Far North Queensland is a bucket-list region.Between swims and bakery runs, we opened a bigger conversation: should towing large caravans in Australia require a licence or endorsement? With more people on the road and heavier rigs than ever, the accident data is moving in the wrong direction. We break down the pros and cons—safety gains, clearer standards, insurer incentives versus added costs, complexity, and the risk of red tape. Our view leans toward education first: short, practical towing courses that demystify weights, turning geometry, braking distances, and tyre management. Know your GVM, GCM, and tow ball weight. Get weighed in combination. Slow down. These habits build confidence and save lives, whether you're cruising the Bruce Highway or easing down a slim cane-field road.We also talk family on the move. Jasper picked up the Barefoot Investor kids' book again and it clicked—goals, saving, and small business ideas to fund the bigger dreams we won't buy for him. Pair that with the daily lessons of full-time travel and you get a practical education that most classrooms never touch: money sense, planning, and reading the road for real. If you love the idea of a hipcamp that blends paradise with easy access to hikes, swims, and classic country-town eats, this one should top your list.If this story brightened your day or made you rethink how you tow, tap follow, share it with a mate, and leave a quick review. Your note helps other travellers find safer roads and better campsites across Australia.
Send us a textPlanning a Tropical North Queensland escape that actually delivers on wonder, value, and ease? We've mapped a five-stop itinerary that blends wild rainforest, oceanfront camping, family-friendly resort energy, and a bucket-list day on the Great Barrier Reef. From a humble farm stay near cane fields to a manicured palm-lined village with a world-class pier, we share what to book, what it costs, and how to make every hour count. We kick off at Newell Beach Farm Stay, a low-cost, pet friendly gem minutes from a classic palm-framed shoreline and an easy launch point for the Daintree. Think boardwalks, butterflies, cassowary sightings at a safe distance, and simple treats like Daintree Ice Cream. Then it's Ellis Beach, where you can camp on the sand and drive the spectacular Captain Cook Highway to Hook-A-Barra for accessible, catch-and-release barramundi thrills that work for newcomers and keen anglers alike. If “set and forget” is your style, Cairns Coconut brings resort-level fun to a caravan park: pools, splash zones, mini golf, movies, and more, with tour bookings at reception. For a quieter reset, Creek's Edge Park at Mossman offers minimal sites, a clear-swimming creek, friendly hosts, and a true jungle trek to a private waterfall that feels like a secret chapter in your travel story. We wrap at NRMA Palm Cove Holiday Park—big sites, a fresh resort pool, and that iconic foreshore—then head offshore with Reef Magic to Moore Reef. Expect five hours on the outer reef, semi-submersible views, guided snorkelling, all gear provided, and marine biologists who turn curiosity into new favourites. We've also included a practical RV summer checklist so your aircon, fridge ventilation, batteries, tyres, and spare keys are ready before peak holiday chaos. Fewer breakdowns mean more reef time, more rainforest hush, and more chances to watch the kids light up when the fish hits the line.Love the journey and want more like this? On this episode of Hotter Than Yesterday, I'm back in Melbourne and blessed to be joined by my dear friend Stella Kate Lily. Stella & I used to do boxing together and while we bonded over the fun we had at boxing, I soon found out Stella's story is much bigger. Stella talks through her eating disorder and how she overcame this, and is now on her way to be boxing in her first ever fight! Thank you Stella for being so generous in telling your story and we couldn't be more grateful to witness your incredible story.
