Jiunn, Seth, John and Aaron discuss their review experience with the AVO Classic Maduro No. 2 https://developingpalates.com/reviews/cigar-reviews/team-cigar-review-avo-classic-maduro-no-2/
For today's Cigar Dave's daily International Lightation Ceremony I'm smoking the Avo Classic Maduro featuring a dark, chocolaty, oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper aged 3 years for a beautiful smoke.
The summer brings mixed drinks, and today it's a review of True North - a take off of the original Tom Collins recipe, with a mix of gin, lemoncello and grapefruit juice. It sounds fruity, but it packs a punch. The cigar is a Avo Classic #2 Maduro. Yes, maduro. The classic Avo cigar in a wrapper that increases the sweetness without losing the traditional flavor. Tony Katz (http://tonykatz.com) hosts the latest Eat! Drink! Smoke! (http://facebook.com/eatdrinksmoke) podcast, now heard on radio stations across the country (https://www.radioamerica.com/program/eat-drink-smoke/)! Have you ever done a reverse sear? Everyman Fingers Malloy (http://fingersmalloy.com) is getting his expertise on with his new charcoal-fed grill. His reverse sear burgers are now a favorite with the family. There's News of the Week, and the guy who converted a rented Ford Mustang to hold enough fuel to do the Cannonball Run in just over 25 hours!
My second ever AVO cigar. I guess it's appropriate then that this is the AVO Classic No.2.Let's see how it compares to the first one.Smoke the AVO Classic #2 - https://famous-smoke.7eer.net/XvWgbReview of the AVO Syncro Fogata - https://www.cigarscore.com/review-avo-syncro-fogata/Initial Thoughts:This is the second AVO cigar I've ever smoked, and the first one didn't leave me with a good experience. However, as soon as I grabbed the AVO Classic No. 2 out of my humidor, I knew I was in for a treat. Or at least I thought I would be.The first thing I noticed about the AVO Classic No. 2 was its amazing aroma. Man, this cigar smells GOOD! Its odd, brownish-gray wrapper is a little odd, but I'm undeterred in my mission to enjoy a fantastic smoke today.Brand: AVOLine: ClassicSize: 6 x 50Cut: GuillotineLight: TorchPrice: $11Learn About This Cigar - https://famous-smoke.7eer.net/XvWgbFinal Thoughts:My experience with the AVO Classic No. 2 was a good one. The burn was almost perfect. The draw was perfect. And, the flavors were really good. This is a top-notch cigar. The Dominican tobacco really provided nice, mellow sweetness to the Classic No. 2 and I really enjoyed it. Because this cigar was practically perfect in every way while still coming in at price point under $15, the AVO Classic No. 2 earns a well-deserved CigarScore 5.:::::Find & Rate Where to Smoke Cigarsat https://www.cigarscore.com:::::Where I buy my cigars: https://click.cigarscore.com/famoussmokePremium Cigar Samplers: https://click.cigarscore.com/fs-premiumsamplers:::::Subscribe to my YouTube Channel! - https://click.cigarscore.com/subscribeonyoutube::::: Gear I Used or Mentioned in This Video :::::Main camera: https://www.ellorywells.com/yt-canon80dMain lens: https://www.ellorywells.com/yt-canon18125mmMusic: https://www.cigarscore.com/musicLapel mic: https://www.ellorywells.com/yt-movolv1Sturdy tripod: https://www.ellorywells.com/yt-tripodTravel camera: https://www.ellorywells.com/yt-canong7xiiHandheld tripod: https://www.ellorywells.com/yt-manfrotto:::::SOCIAL MEDIA LINKS:Â Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cigarscoreTwitter: https://www.twitter.com/cigarscoreInstagram: https://Instagram.com/cigarscore:::::AFFILIATE DISCLAIMER: Hey, so, some of the links in my videos and descriptions are affiliate links. While reviewing the Avo Classic cigar and Stagg Jr. bourbon, Tony Katz (http://facebook.com/tonykatzradio) discusses how Nick Jonas wants to be Batman. April D. Gregory (http://twitter.com/aprildgregory) wants Kate Beckinsale to choose her over Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson. And Fingers Mallo (http://facebook.com/fingersmalloyradio)y wants to know who the better actor is - The Rock or Hulk Hogan? There's also a Sean Young/Catwoman mention. Yeah.....old school. Some politics gets discussed, like those who wrongly compare a Make America Great Again Hat to a swastika. And how the public accomodation is not aligned with freedom. Something for everone in this episode of Eat! Drink! Smoke! (http://facebook.com/eatdrinksmoke) Snack Size Edition!
Luxuriously flavorful and elegantly composed, the Avo Classic remains one of the cigar world’s most beloved mellower options. Be sure to check out this review and many more at: https://m.cigarsnearme.com/blog
It's rare that we are recording the podcast as breaking news is happening, but that's how it went this week as the Saga of Virginia Democrat Governor Ralph Northam was unfolding as we were recording. A photo of a man in blackface standing next to a person in a KKK robe was discovered on Northam's medical school yearbook page. At first Northam admitted to taking the photo. The next day, he said it wasn't him. And, while we were recording, Gov. Northam was holding a press conference to profess his innocence...while admitting to doing blackface another time in his life! As Tony Katz notes, the photo is unacceptable. But why is this the story, as opposed to Gov. Northam's acceptance and support of infanticide? It's a busy Eat! Drink! Smoke!, recorded live at Blend Bar Cigar (http://blendbarcigar.com) in Indianapolis. Tony, joined by April D. Gregory and Fingers Malloy, review Stagg Jr. bourbon and the Avo Classic cigar. When you go out to eat, do you do it for the food or for the experience? And why spend $50,000 on a bar mitzvah? The differences between Baby Boomers, Gen X and Millennials became most obvious at a recent Fleetwood Mac concert.
The boys are rejoined by guest Jay Bevers, and talk about developing palates. Shane smokes an SBC18 from Roma Craft, Trae smokes a Gran Ofuerta by My Father Cigars, and Jay smokes an Avo Classic.
