As respostas, neste primeiro episódio.

Charlie gives us the history of the oldest known footballing sport, the Chinese game Cuju, as well as its Japanese cousin Kemari.

China! The roots of football in China are far deep, going all the way back 5000 years to an ancient game called Cuju. In modern times, China is perceived as a country where football players go to get one more massive paycheck before they pass their physical prime. However, things are changing, and with salary caps and spending limits being introduced for the 2021 season, now is an interesting time to be discussing Chinese football. For the final episode in the season, Jonathan White from the South China Morning Post joins Ben Harrison-Hyde to discuss all things money, national team prestige, rivalries…and hairy crabs!
This week's 'Rugby Reloaded' travels back in time to ancient China with Dr Kevin Moore to look at the incredible history of Cuju, the ball game that survived in China for 2,000 years. Was it the forerunner of modern football, as Sepp Blatter once claimed, or was it something far richer and more complex? For more on the history of rugby and the other football codes, take a look at www.rugbyreloaded.com (which also has show notes and links for this episode) and follow me on Twitter at @collinstony.
