Prenderà il via il 15 febbraio la prima campagna istituzionale dedicata al vino promossa dal Ministero dell'Agricoltura, della Sovranità Alimentare e delle Foreste. Lo slogan scelto è “Il vino è il nostro tempo, coltiviamo ciò che ci unisce”. La campagna avrà una durata di due mesi, fino alla metà di aprile, in concomitanza con Vinitaly.L'iniziativa è stata presentata a Roma nel corso del Tavolo di filiera vitivinicolo, alla presenza delle principali organizzazioni rappresentative del settore agricolo, cooperativo e industriale, e si inserisce in una strategia di comunicazione volta a sostenere il comparto sul mercato interno.

Arianna Porcelli Safonov, oggi scrittrice, autrice comica e storyteller, ha iniziato come project manager di grandi eventi. Titoli roboanti e paga minima: venti ore di lavoro al giorno per 950 euro nella Roma del 2010. Dopo l'ennesima notte in cui apre gli occhi sul sedile di un taxi senza ricordare la destinazione, strozzata dall'“apnea professionale”, decide che l'unico aumento possibile è mollare. Non torna a Roma, bensì affitta un fienile in Appennino, in un borgo di sei anime ai confini tra Piemonte, Liguria e Lombardia. È lì, in quello spazio essenziale e silenzioso, che nasce Fottuta Campagna, il libro con cui racconta con disincanto la vita fuori dalle città.In campagna, il suo rapporto con il denaro cambia radicalmente: «Lì ho scoperto che il mio reale guadagno è la mancata spesa. E che c'è una sezione primitiva del nostro organismo che ci consente di sopravvivere anche senza le ciabattine antiscivolo o la piastra per i capelli». Oggi la comicità di Arianna è uno strumento affilato per riflettere su mode, costumi, contraddizioni e assurdità quotidiane. Ma è anche un modo per interrogarsi sul ruolo dell'arte nel presente, in un contesto in cui la libertà espressiva è spesso subordinata alla logica del consenso. «Il problema dell'arte, in Italia almeno, non è la precarietà, ma il fatto di non essere più libera», sottolinea. «Non c'è denaro che possa restituire la libertà di espressione a determinati contesti dove l'arte cerca ancora di fare il proprio. Più che il conformismo trovopericoloso il presunto anticonformismo. Cioè la presentazione che adesso si sta facendo di un contesto accogliente e inclusivo, dove in realtà c'è una censura bianca che è estremamente più pericolosa. Spesso ho avuto anche io la tentazione di autocensurarmi, non per ottenere più lavori, ma sul palco, perché ho sentito la pesantezza di una minaccia non verbale, che accade ovviamente nei contesti istituzionali».

La Campagna Italiana: Vocabolario Il Linguaggio della Terra: Espressioni Rurali nella Lingua Quotidiana Molte espressioni italiane di uso comune hanno origini agricole che gli studenti stranieri spesso non riconoscono. Quando un italiano dice "Raccogliere quello che si semina", non sta parlando letteralmente di agricoltura, ma utilizzando una metafora contadina per indicare le conseguenze delle proprie azioni. Questa frase riflette la mentalità rurale secondo cui ogni azione ha delle conseguenze dirette e inevitabili, proprio come in agricoltura. L'espressione "Non tutte le ciambelle riescono col buco" deriva dalle tradizioni culinarie rurali e significa che non tutto va sempre come pianificato. Nelle case di campagna, fare il pane e i dolci era un'attività quotidiana complessa, e anche le cuoche più esperte potevano avere insuccessi occasionali. Frasi come "Chi va piano, va sano e va lontano" riflettono la filosofia contadina del lavoro costante e paziente. Nelle campagne, la fretta era considerata nemica della qualità: i contadini sapevano che forzare i tempi naturali portava inevitabilmente a risultati scadenti. Ogni stagione portava con sé attività specifiche, tradizioni culinarie e celebrazioni che ancora oggi caratterizzano la vita italiana. Per gli studenti stranieri, comprendere questi cicli significa capire perché certi cibi sono disponibili solo in determinati periodi e perché alcune feste hanno date specifiche. In primavera, i contadini iniziavano la semina e la preparazione dei campi. Questo periodo era associato alla rinascita e alla speranza, concetti che si riflettono in espressioni come "Aprile dolce dormire" o "Marzo pazzerello". Le famiglie contadine organizzavano la "pulizia di primavera" (pulizie di Pasqua), una tradizione che molte famiglie italiane mantengono ancora oggi. L'estate rappresentava il periodo più intenso, con la raccolta del grano, la mietitura e la preparazione delle conserve per l'inverno. Il detto "D'estate si lavora per l'inverno" riflette questa mentalità di pianificazione a lungo termine tipicamente rurale. Le sagre estive nascevano proprio come celebrazioni dei raccolti abbondanti. L'autunno portava la vendemmia, la raccolta delle olive e la preparazione del vino. Molte tradizioni culinarie italiane, come la preparazione della passata di pomodoro o dei sottaceti, derivano dalla necessità di conservare i prodotti autunnali per i mesi invernali. L'inverno era il periodo del riposo dei campi ma anche dell'intenso lavoro domestico: filatura, tessitura, riparazione degli attrezzi e preparazione per la stagione successiva. Le lunghe serate invernali favorivano il racconto di storie e la trasmissione delle tradizioni orali. On the heels of my trip with a group of Patrons to Campania, I wanted to do a show on Taurasi while it was still fresh in my mind.   Taurasi, a small (472 ha / 1,166 acres) DOCG region, is indisputably one of Italy's greatest red wines along with Barolo, Barbaresco, Brunello, Chianti, Vino Nobile, and Montefalco Sagrantino. Taurasi, made of the ancient Aglianico grape, is in Campania, more specifically in hills northeast of Irpinia/Avellino and is centered around the town of Taurasi, a small town with a 10th-century castle that was rebuilt by the Normans.   Over the 17 towns within the denomination soils and altitudes range dramatically. Higher altitudes create complex, more acidic styles due to a longer growing season with great diurnal swings. Towns with more clay create extremely tannic wines, while those with sand have certain warmth and fruitiness that makes them easy to drink in their youth. There are a multitude of styles and, with soils in the region layered like a lasagna, the flavors you get from the Aglianico grape depend largely on the site on which it grows.   Aglianico is a misunderstood grape, as is Taurasi as a wine. Aglianico is a red with complex, terroir driven flavors of dark fruit, red fruit, spice, black pepper notes, and excellent acidity and tannin. Taurasi, made from a biotype of Aglianico that is particularly dark-skinned, small berried and flavorful makes exquisite wines that have the aging capability of a Barolo or Bordeaux.   The grape translates the terroir into the bottle and both where the grapes grow and who makes the wine determines the style – it's an area you could explore for ages and keep discovering new expressions of Aglianico. In fact, Taurasi is called the “Barolo of the South” for nuance and depth of flavor, and variation of its terroir. In this show I cover the extensive history of the region, with all its ups and downs, the climate, altitudes, and land and then discuss the expression of the Aglianico grape and why it makes such fascinating wines.   If you haven't had a Taurasi, get on it.
