Ken reads an email pushback questioning his claim that almost no Browns fans want Deshaun Watson to start, prompting him to hold firm at "98 percent" while acknowledging Watson still looks like the real-time leader for the job. He compares the intensity of Shedeur's fanbase to that of Caitlin Clark and Tony Romo, arguing that hyper-loyal, brand-driven fandoms are simply the new normal in sports and something Anthony needs to get used to. Ken also draws a personal line, sharing a story about his late mother's fierce devotion to athletes like Bernie Kosar, to illustrate how logic rarely factors into this kind of fan loyalty. The segment closes with a brief, unconfirmed mention of a reported ESPN staffing change involving Sean McDonough's broadcast crew before wrapping the show.

Ben Cherington defended the lack of bullpen help for the Pirates yesterday, after Dennis Santana gave up a walkoff homer to Travis Bazzana. Cherington said that some of the bullpen help will come internally, and that they still have faith in a lot of the guys in the bullpen. Poni mentions that the Pirates are going to have to give up assets to get assets, and that Cherington can't be afraid to do this if he doesn't want to end up with nothing. Poni also thinks that Cherington is operating as if his job is secure.

On Friday's Mark Levin Show, should our Constitution be gutted? DSA's Gustavo Gordillo says yes. He says the Senate is undemocratic and should be reformed or eliminated. The problem? Small states have an equal say in the Senate. The genius of the Founding Fathers was that in at least one house of a bicameral Congress, small states wouldn't be swallowed up by large states. Gustavo wants to replace this genius system with a European-style socialist parliament. He also wants to put the working class over billionaires. Isn't it funny you never hear Socialists like Gustavo talk about liberty? Marxist "working class versus billionaire class" rhetoric promotes group-based oppression narratives over freedom, individual rights, and the Declaration of Independence. These people seek to destroy the country, its way of life, political and governing systems, founding principles, and economic system—the greatest on Earth—built through countless legal, military, and political battles. Due to generosity and stupidity, including open borders and ceding colleges and universities to enemy-promoted teachings, an enemy within now acts through culture and has largely conquered the Democrat Party piece by piece. Those who love the country and want to preserve its lifestyle for children and grandchildren must wake up, listen, and pass the message on, because if more of them vote, they win. Later, China has constructed a full-scale, three-dimensional replica of a US Navy Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer in the Taklamakan Desert as a weapons testing facility to target real warships. They're not fooling around, this is serious. Afterward, it's problematic that the media dismissed President Trump's election security speech and his findings on Communist China's interference in the 2020 election. There are foreign and domestic forces seeking to destroy America, including a weak ruling class, rogue judges, and too many university faculty who indoctrinate students against America's core principles. Finally, Rep Jim Jordan calls in and explains that Special Counsel Jack Smith misled Congress by testifying that his team did not obtain the contents of communications between Trump administration officials and members of Congress. Evidence shows the National Archives, under the Biden administration, turned over unfiltered text message contents to Smith's team raising separation of powers and Speech or Debate Clause violations. Jordan also addresses the President's speech highlighting Communist China's election interference, confirming his staff is investigating documents on the matter. Learn more about your ad choices. Gov. Tim Walz is defending his vote to pardon a man convicted of molesting a 10-year-old child more than 20 years ago.Last week, the Trump administration deported Tou Lue Vang despite a pardon approved by Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison and Supreme Court Chief Justice Natalie Hudson in their role on the Board of Pardons.Walz said the victim's advocacy for Vang factored in his decision to grant the pardon.“I can tell you in these pardons, one of the overriding factors that continuously influences the decision — certianly of me, I can't speak for the rest of the board, but looks like that — depends on where the victims are at,” Walz said. The governor emphasized that this action “didn't let this person out of jail.” Vang completed his sentence — served entirely as supervised probation — in 2019.Walz said his vote to pardon Vang was not an attempt to prevent him from being deported, though Vang is at least the third convicted felon with pending removal orders to be pardoned in Minnesota this year.In May, the Board of Pardons unanimously granted clemency for At “Ricky” Chandee, who was convicted of second-degree assault in 1993; and Jai Vang, a Laotian man who was convicted of aggravated robbery in 1994.On the same day the board considered a pardon for Vang, four others who had applied for pardons — including three who were facing deportation — were denied. Brian Evans, a spokesman for the Attorney General's Office, said they lacked victim support. In all cases, the Department of Homeland Security criticized the pardons as attempts to “take away qualifying convictions” for removal from the U.S.Vang was deported anyway.Walz questioned whether Vang's removal improved outcomes in Minnesota.“I guess the question I would as is, did that make us any safer? Did that make the children that are left behind any more stable? Did it improve the idea that we can't all be judged by our worst day?” Walz said.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Illinois Football continues to strengthen its off-the-field leadership as Bret Bielema has added Tory Tekyl as the program's new Executive Director, bringing another experienced administrator into the Illini football operation as the program looks to build on its recent success. Meanwhile, Cardinals legend Adam Wainwright is standing up for St. Louis. After Barstool Sports criticized the Cardinals organization, Busch Stadium, and its fan base, Wainwright fired back by passionately defending Cardinals fans, saying they earned the reputation as "the best fans in baseball" through decades of loyalty and knowledge of the game—not because they gave themselves the title. Tonight, the Cardinals open a key series against the Arizona Diamondbacks looking to continue building momentum in the second half. Can St. Louis slow down Arizona's explosive offense while continuing to get production from its young core, including Home Run Derby champion Jordan Walker? Plus, the Cubs begin an intriguing interleague matchup against the Minnesota Twins. Chicago enters the weekend trying to stay in the thick of the National League playoff race, while the Twins are looking to climb back into contention in the American League. We'll break down both matchups, discuss the biggest storylines to watch, and make our predictions for tonight's games.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche told senators during his July 15 confirmation hearing that the Justice Department has not permanently closed the door on prosecuting additional people connected to Jeffrey Epstein. Blanche said the department would investigate, indict and prosecute anyone if credible new evidence emerged showing that person participated in Epstein's sex-trafficking operation. He distinguished between the DOJ's completed review of its existing Epstein records and the department's continuing authority to open new criminal cases. Although the prosecutions of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell have ended, Blanche insisted that investigators remain prepared to act immediately if victims, attorneys or other witnesses provide information capable of supporting charges.Blanche also defended the DOJ against accusations that it has abandoned Epstein's survivors, saying officials have met with representatives of more than 30 victims and will continue speaking with anyone who comes forward. He encouraged victims and their lawyers to contact the FBI with additional evidence, promising that the department would investigate it fully. His comments came amid criticism of the government's handling of the Epstein records, including the earlier DOJ and FBI conclusion that investigators found no evidence of a formal “client list” and no justification for additional public disclosures. Blanche's position is that the existing document review may be finished, but the broader possibility of prosecuting new suspects remains open if evidence strong enough to sustain a criminal case is produced.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Todd Blanche says Epstein prosecution remains open to new evidence | Fox News

Moving to a national focus, a video clip from Fox News features Senator John Thune, the Chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, discussing his previous work on several reconciliation and defense funding bills that successfully passed through the Senate. Transitioning to other national legislative efforts, James reports on the House of Representatives advancing the Save America Act, but strongly criticizes establishment politicians, including Senator Tom Tillis, for pushing back against the bill.
