Thank you so much for listening and subscribing to the podcast. Rather than just skipping this week I thought I'd record a short update for you to share what's going on and what you can expect over the course of the next few weeks. Not everyone knows that all of this Sales Success stuff, this podcast, the Daily Sales Tips podcast, the Sales Success Summit, the books, and everything else is actually one big side hustle. Like many of you, I'm a quota-carrying sales professional, and while I'm well ahead of plan for the year I've still got quite a bit of pipeline to work through in these next 4 weeks before Christmas, as well as a lot of planning and prep to do to make sure that I'm all set for a successful 2023 as well. If I'm really honest I'm also working through a bit of burnout having essentially worked 2 full-time jobs for the last 6 years! So I'm going to intentionally take my foot off of the gas with this podcast for the next few weeks, at least on the public side. I will be leaning into the paid Sales Success Community offering a bit more and you can learn more about that opportunity at top1.fm/2023 I'm also going to keep things going on the Daily Sales Tips Podcast side of things as well, though I'm sure we'll do a big top tips countdown over there in a few weeks, as I'm going to try to completely take off the week between Christmas and New Years. That's it. I just wanted you to know that we'll probably release just one last interview this year, and I'll be resetting and gearing up to make 2023 our best year yet for you and for me. Again, be sure to check out what's going on over at top1.fm/2023 as the best way you can support this effort and yourself is to get involved there. Oh, and I'm also working on booking more interviews, so if you or someone you know is going to finish as the outright #1 top performer for the year. Reach out and make an intro. To qualify, they must be in an individual quota-carrying role and have been a consistent top performer on a team of at least 5 sellers. Thanks again for listening and I'll talk to you soon!
In today's bonus episode of the Sales Success Stories podcast I've got maybe the most unique share yet. Right after the Sales Success Summit in October my pipeline of tips for the Daily Sales Tips podcast was running quite low, so I asked some core members of the Sales Success Community to contribute some tips. Now if you're a regular listener to that show, you may have heard a couple of these ideas from Jacquelyn Nicholson and Mike Simmons but the raw unedited version was so much fun I thought I'd just share the whole thing here. I'm going to have my audio editor make a few minor tweaks based on his judgement to clean up a couple of transitions, but other than that we're going to keep it pretty raw and if you click over to top1.fm/JM for Jacquelyn/Mike, we're going to include the full unedited video. Here they are, Enjoy!
You're listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I'm your host, Scott Ingram. While I'm out on vacation we're featuring 7 of the top tips from 2022 so far. Here's one of those top tips! 1109. No Nonsense Strategy to Build More Pipeline – Anthony Natoli

I'm kind of cheating with this episode. Its purpose is to let you know that I'm taking a week off and that there won't be a bonus episode this week, but in a roundabout way, it helps me keep my streaks alive as I haven't missed a week on this show since we started consistently releasing bonus episodes between the interview episodes years ago. If you haven't already figured it out, I'm a HUGE believer in consistency as today we'll also be releasing episode 1242 on the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I've never missed a day on that show. Now, I'm cheating a little bit over there too with a bit of a best-of series, but it's important to take breaks. I've been in need of a massive refresh with tons going on professionally as always, but that's been compounded by a lot going on on the personal side with a new home purchase and renovation and prepping for the sale of my previous home which is currently under contract. For me, it's about getting my head right and getting ready for a full out 4 month sprint that will culminate in the Sales Success Summit and SalesTechEX the second week of October. I also need to get super aggressive about refreshing my productivity process when I get back to pull all of this off. So that's where we're at. No real episode today, and I appreciate your understanding and continuing to come back week after week to this show. I'll talk to you next week!

You're listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I'm your host, Scott Ingram. Today through the end of the year we're going to countdown the top 10 tips of 2021, but you don't have to wait. You can get the entire list by clicking over to DailySales.Tips/BestOf2021. Now, this was a little bit tricky. As I looked at the list, no matter how we calculated, whether we looked at total downloads year to date or the downloads per tip in the first 30 days there was a strong concentration of tips from January. I then thought about featuring the top tip from each month from January to October, but ultimately made the executive decision to feature the real top 10, which also happen to be pretty helpful in thinking about how to start off the new year right. The great news for you is that you can find both lists, both the natural top 10 and the top tip from each month at DailySales.Tips/BestOf2021 or on this tip at DailySales.Tips/1068. While you're there you might want to join the listener list, because as you know if you're already on that list, I occasionally provide previews and sent out both of these lists last weekend to those who were already subscribed. With that, let's kick things off. Here's #10: 754. How To Stay In Tune With Your Prospects Buying Process – Hannah Ajikawo
In this week's bonus episode, I thought we might try to have just a little bit more fun. What I've got for you here is a series of 5 tips from the Daily Sales Tips podcast where we dialed up the humor a little bit, and the first one is actually a sneak preview because it's not even scheduled to release until this Friday. So I guess you heard it here first. For whatever reason, there's also a fair amount of singing involved here, but I really think you're going to enjoy these. Enjoy:

Here are a dozen different Daily Sales Tips from the last couple of years on the topic. We’re going to play them straight through, so you won’t need to lift a finger, but if you’d like to see the list and pick and choose which ones you’d like to listen to, click over to top1.fm/SalesJobTips all smashed together with no spaces or dashes. Here we go:
Today on the Sales Success Stories podcast while you’re waiting for the next interview episode with a number one top-performing sales professional I’ve got the audio from another presentation at the 2018 Sales Success Summit that I’d like to share with you. What’s really ironic about this is that I also just finished recording today’s tip for the Daily Sales Tips podcast, and it was about “Assignment Selling.” Who knows how much that idea may have been influenced by Justin and this presentation, but in thinking about what I might be able to share with you today that would be valuable this came up and the parallels are insane. So after you listen to this I’d encourage you also to go listen to tip #542 on the Daily Sales Tips podcast and also tip #37 is pretty relevant as well.
Today on the Sales Success Stories podcast I’ve got a few things for you. I’m learning that there’s less cross over between this podcast and my other Daily Sales Tips podcast than I thought. For those of you who listen to both shows, thank you, and this will be a little bit redundant. The next 9 minutes or so are going to be repeats for you if you listen daily, but everything else on the other side of the two Daily Sales Tips episodes is just for the listeners of this show. So let’s first get into these Daily Sales Tips cross-posts. The first is a tribute to Barb Giamanco, and the second is the 500th episode of Daily Sales Tips! Keep listening after these for more about this year’s Sales Success Summit:
Scott is the Founder of Sales Success Media where he hosts two of my favorite sales podcasts, Sales Success Stories where he deconstructs world class sales professionals & his 2nd podcast, Daily Sales Tips, where he delivers a new sales tip to B2B professionals in 5 to 10 minutes per day, 7 days a week. Scott is the Account Director at Relationship One and a mentor for thousands of Sales Professionals. On this episode of Sales Secrets From The Top 1%, Scott explains his top secrets to sales success and how to start implementing them in your career immediately!

Last Friday we celebrated the 300th episode of the Daily Sales Tips podcast. Hopefully, you’re already listening to that. If you’re not this is a quick montage and sampler of some of the top tips among those first 300 tips, and if you are already a listener. Thank you! Hopefully, you’ll still find value in these as a quick review of some of the tips that seem to be resonating the most. I’ve pulled together 5 of the top tips for you and then we’ll close things out with episode 300. The placement order is a bit mixed up here, but what I can tell you is that Jason Bay owns all three of the top 3 spots with his tips, which is precisely why he gets a prime time spot every Tuesday on the show. Here’s just one of Jason’s tips and then you’ll hear from Tom Williams, Todd Caponi and also from me a couple of times. Oh, and one more note. All of the books that were offered have already been claimed, but there are more coming this week. So you’ll probably want to subscribe to Daily Sales Tips right away. Alright, let’s get to those tips. Here you go:

You're listening to the Daily Sales Tips podcast and I'm your host, Scott Ingram. Today I actually have two bonus tips for you. If you listened to the beginning of our countdown of the top tips from Q2 you heard me explain why the methodology of identifying these top tips is slightly flawed and I wanted to correct on of those mistakes by going back to a tip that was released towards the end of Q1 that over time has outperformed some of the top tips that I featured in Q1. Then after that I have the true #1 tip from Q2, but I didn't want to include it in the real countdown because it was a joke. It was my April Fools episode. Hear that again: the second tip that we're about to play was a joke, but it sure did get a bunch of people and it got shared quite a bit as well. Check these out:
