The Adventures of Jason Hamacher are nothing short of legendary.  Whether it be from the Frodus days, the Decahedron run, his tenure with Battery, playing with Combat Wounded Veteran, his current band Zealot RIP, managing Cave-In, his work with the Smithsonian, his work as a punk-rock Indiana Jones in Syria, or in with the art gallery he runs: Lost Origins Gallery, he has ENDLESS stories that are all worthy of their own individual movies. Truly one of the funniest dudes around that has seen it all, done it all, and lived to tell these stories in the most fascinating ways. Jason Hamacher moved from Florida to Fairfax County, excited to be there because of a reference from a Scream album and its proximity to Minor Threat and the DC hardcore scene. He met Shelby Cinca on a Christian retreat and a video of him shirtless, banging out a Sepultura song sealed the deal of securing a spot in his band. This launched them on a ten-year odyssey of touring around the world and recording with three bands, from Frodus to The Black Sea and most recently Decahedron. This episode also features music from Jason’s straight-edge band, Battery, and his screamo project Combatwoundedveteran. Jason developed skills promoting his music and booking tours, almost securing Frodus a gig playing a lab in Antartica, and utilizing some of the same talents to preserve ancient Syrian chants. Jason has accomplished so much musically, but never takes himself or his achievements too seriously, and was more than happy to to give us insight into his Northern Virginia roots.

Chapter 114: "Doing" ...as read by Johnathon Ford of Unwed Sailor / Roadside Monument Johnathon Ford of Unwed Sailor took some time out of his overloaded schedule to record his first podcast with me. Mr. Ford discusses Mr. Bishop's Fist, Warlord, Roadside Monument, Pedro The Lion, Decahedron, Unwed Sailor and just about every story that connects this outlandish resume. Johnathon takes us to the House Of Funk In Seattle (where Jeremy Enigk performed on the couch he was living on) all the way to living at JPUSA and trading a ride back home for a sega genesis. We discuss how whiskey can get you in trouble but a good IPA never hurt anybody. We also cover the Transformers movie, the GI Joe series, Christian school dress codes and all the other important stuff that makes a person question everything they've ever been told. Jake Brown has been in a lot of bands! From Moments In Grace to Twothirtyeight, En Maase, Decahedron and more recent projects The Eastern Wave and Veranear, Jake has definitely left his mark. We talk about his time on a major label and I try to get him to explain, rather unsuccessfully, what makes Florida great. He's also been helping out local musicians through his imprint, Computer Club Records, since 1999. If you listen close toward the end, I think we just started a new band. Get into it! Shelby Cinca is a wild conversation. What a blast. We learn how he wound up overseas, the DC scene, Dischord, Ian McKaye...really cool insight on a scene that we all THINK we know. His band Frodus is considered to be a cornerstone band of the 90's post-hardcore. Shelby Cinca has played with members of Fugazi, Dillinger Escape Plan and many, many....MANY others. Seriously. Biggest band camp page I've ever seen. We discuss board gaming, cupcake making and pro wrestling. But it also gets deep, dark and beautiful. We discuss birth, death, sacrifice, perspective and dark matter. We love this dude...and we love you. Take care. Bye-bye. "Greetings, I am One, I am Love, I am Emissary Decahedron5D, yes that is my real name, lawfully changed by Deed Poll, but call me Dec. I am a Freeman on the Land and have an agreement in law with the Queen and the Prime Minister, on behalf of all governments and corporations world wide, outlawing all legislation and agreements assumed without consent and banning the use of fiat (fake) currency. Unfortunately the whole mechanism we live within does not recognise law, truth or reason, and I have proved this in courts of supposed law. My heart shut down in early childhood NDE trauma and I grew up knowing only reason and can shed light on many supposed scientific mysteries such as the mechanism by which light creates matter. During half a century of Jnana Yoga and various meditations, I answered the question, "Where do I come from?", have found and know the One Void and know the eternal and infinite nature of my essence. In finding the One, I realised it as the absolute truth having a five fold nature which I symbolise as the simplest 4 dimensional polygon composed of 5 equally distant points, which I call the Decahedron, and which is only perceivable from 5D, hence my name. Recent messages give an amazing overview on ascension and how this also means we will be giving true life to inanimate matter. I also play a Grand Concert Harp. Find me on Facebook as Decahedron Void and some of my work at http://theonetruefactsociety.wikifoundry.com/ With very much love to all you radiant beings, Dec."
