Mason's fate was confirmed by showrunner Frank Valentini in a tweet.  Despite Mason's exit, there is speculation that Nathanyael Grey's villainous character could return in the future. His sudden demise blindsided co-stars and fans alike, leaving them heartbroken.  Frank Valentini, showrunner of General Hospital, expressed his condolences, praising Tyler's exceptional acting talent and kind-hearted nature.  His memorable portrayal of Nikolas Cassadine, the son of legacy character Laura Spencer, won him a devoted fan base.  Tyler Christopher's struggles with alcohol addiction and mental health issues in his personal life were well-documented, making his passing all the more tragic. Tyler's GH co-star Maurice Benard, who plays Sonny Corinthos on the ABC soap spoke on his tragic passing calling him a "sweet soul and a wonderful friend".  As the soap opera community grapples with this loss, fans remember Tyler Christopher's mesmerizing talent.
