Yes!  For more than 50 years, Dina Valentini has followed the path less taken to develop a relationship with the plant known as "the food of the gods."  She talks about the botany of cacao, how cacao becomes chocolate, and how she uses cacao in rituals.  Dina also shares how her experience as a chef guides what she blends into her cacao bars. Lavender, fig, ginger, and rose are a few of her favorites. Using beans soaked in the brandy her late-father always drank, Dina created the award-winning bar "Mi Padre." Final Four Preview Starts at 33:00 Meta game: Everyone is at the rim now because there's a much higher floor so you aren't (like Beilein) subject to the triple gods. Arizona is a lot like Michigan but they're even more extreme, and their jumpers are usually twos. When they do get a three (rarely) Bradley and Burries can knock them down. Concern is whether they can bully Mara; NBA people will be watching his battle with Krivas, defensive impact is understated because he's a mountain you can't move. Raffaella has years of experience having worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, overseeing projects promoted by Italy in the Balkins, North Africa, and Middle East. She's also worked at the Embassy's economic office in Albania and Cairo before coming to Los Angeles. Raffaella has keen ideas on how she sees her position here, as it covers a large territory from California to Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada, and she wants to make sure to serve the various economic and cultural groups in each region. For example, Los Angeles is so vast, and she sees her job as serving the many Italians and Italian Americans from each area in a variety of capacities including science, technology, film, food, travel, and more. The Vespucci is the historic and iconic training ship of the Italian Navy, and it will be accompanied by a special flyover by the “Frecce Tricolore” Acrobatic Team of the Italian Air Force on opening day. We will discuss with Raffaella the history of the infamous explorer that the ship is named after, as well as the world voyage the Vespucci has traveled, and of course the significance of this moment in highlighting our Italian culture. Los Angeles is the first city in the world to host a maxi exhibition space called “Villaggio Italia” that will open from July 3rd-8th in front of the Vespucci ship at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro at Berth 50.
