Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, when he lived in Vṛndāvana, would walk from Akrūra Ghāṭa every morning and sit down at Imlitalā tree and he would chant japa from early morning into the late morning. Similarly, when Caitanya Mahāprabhu came to South India, he made special arrangements for his japa. It says here, from our reading last night: "Since your two hands will always be engaged in chanting and counting the holy names, how will you be able to carry the water pot and external garments?" That's Nityānanda Prabhu trying to induce Caitanya Mahāprabhu to take somebody with him. Why? So he could have his hands free and chant Japa. From this verse (Cc Madhya 7.37), it is clear that Caitanya Mahāprabhu was chanting the holy names a fixed number of times daily. The Gosvāmīs used to follow in the footsteps of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, and Haridāsa Ṭhākura also followed this principle. Considering the Gosvāmīs—Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī, Śrīla Sanātana Gosvāmī, Śrīla Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī, Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī, Śrīla Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī, and Śrīla Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī—Śrīnivāsa Ācārya confirms: saṅkhyā-pūrvaka-nāma-gāna-natibhiḥ. In addition to other duties, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu introduced the system of chanting the holy name of the Lord a fixed number of times. As confirmed in this verse, Caitanya Mahāprabhu used to count on his fingers; while one hand was engaged in chanting, the other hand kept the number of rounds. This is corroborated in the Caitanya-candrāmṛta and also in Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī's Stava-mālā, which is quoted. Prabhupāda says: "Therefore, devotees in the line of Caitanya Mahāprabhu must chant at least 16 rounds daily. And this is the number prescribed by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. Haridāsa Ṭhākura daily chanted 300,000 names; 16 rounds is about 28,000 names. There is no need to imitate Haridāsa Ṭhākura or the Gosvāmīs, but chanting the holy name a fixed number of times daily is essential for every devotee." Ava has recently been involved with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), but neither relationship had the potential to last. Ric, Ava's lawyer and a villain, was more of a fleeting crush for Ava, while Cody was merely a distraction to make Ric jealous. Ava usually alternates between villains and super good guys, as seen in her past relationships with Franco (James Franco) and Griffin Monroe (Matt Cohen).  GH gives Ava's current interest is Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), but his interest in her is solely because of her connection to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) may be an interesting match for Ava, despite the possibility that he may not really be Nathan. Ava's past relationships have been marked with unexpected twists, like when she was unknowingly involved with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), posing as Kevin Collins. General Hospital fans hear speculation of a potential romance between Ava and Sonny, but the idea has been met with resistance. Ava and Sonny have chemistry, but it is unlikely the writers would pursue this storyline. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is also single, but his involvement with Ava is highly unlikely due to the role she played in his brother Morgan's death. GH gives a plot where Ava's relationship with Cody Bell had potential, but Cody's crush on Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) may hinder this. ¿Sabías que hay coches con etiqueta CERO que contaminan más que uno con etiqueta C? ¿Y que esa etiqueta CERO puede tener los días contados? Hoy en GH analizamos el ciclo de vida COMPLETO (fabricación, uso y reciclaje) de un coche con datos reales. Comparamos 4 versiones de un SUV (Gasolina, Híbrido, PHEV y Eléctrico) en un uso de 10 años y 150.000 km. El veredicto de nuestra "Pizarra Hermética" te va a sorprender. FASE 1: LA FABRICACIÓN: La "Deuda de Carbono". Aquí empieza la sorpresa. Fabricar un coche de gasolina genera unas 14 toneladas de CO2. Fabricar su equivalente eléctrico (basado en datos de Volvo) genera 25 toneladas. ¡Casi un 80% más! El culpable es la batería, por la enorme energía necesaria para extraer el litio, cobalto y níquel. El coche eléctrico sale de fábrica con una gran "deuda de carbono" y, además, con un precio de compra mucho más alto. FASE 2: EL USO A 10 AÑOS: Ahorro vs. Riesgo Catastrófico) Durante su uso, el eléctrico es imbatible en el día a día. Recargarlo es mucho más barato que repostar gasolina (aprox. 2,70 € vs 10,15 € cada 100 km). PERO... ¿qué pasa en el año 9 y 10? La garantía media de la batería es de 8 años. Un coche de gasolina de 10 años tendrá gastos previsibles (quizá 1.000 € o 2.000 €). Un coche eléctrico fuera de garantía se enfrenta a una "espada de Damocles" financiera: un fallo de batería puede costar 10.000 €, 15.000 € o incluso 20.000 €. Esa única factura anula de golpe todo el ahorro de la década. Este riesgo destruye el Coste Total de Propiedad (TCO). ¿Quién compra un coche eléctrico de 10 años fuera de garantía? El mercado de segunda mano penaliza esta incertidumbre y el valor de reventa se desploma. LA TRAMPA DE LOS PHEV Y LAS ETIQUETAS DGT El otro gran mito: los Híbridos Enchufables (PHEV) y su consumo de 1,5 L/100km. Es una fantasía de laboratorio que solo se cumple si lo cargas a diario. La UE lo sabe y, desde 2025, cambiará las reglas (Factor de Utilidad) basándose en el USO REAL (la gente no los carga). Consecuencias: El CO2 homologado de los PHEV se multiplicará. Perderán el acceso a ayudas (MOVES) y pagarán más Impuesto de Matriculación. Esto impacta de lleno en las etiquetas de la DGT. El sistema actual es un coladero. Se espera que los Mild-Hybrid (MHEV) pierdan la etiqueta ECO y los PHEV pierdan la CERO (salvo los de gran autonomía). Aunque la DGT dice que no será retroactivo, la inseguridad jurídica para los coches ya vendidos es enorme. EL VEREDICTO FINAL Tenemos dos veredictos: 1. Veredicto Medioambiental (Total a 150.000 km) (De menos a más contaminante) Eléctrico (BEV): ~32,5 t CO2 (Gana si se carga con energía limpia). Híbrido Convencional (HEV). Gasolina: ~39 t CO2. Híbrido Enchufable (PHEV): El PEOR de todos si no se carga, superando al gasolina. 2. Veredicto Económico (Riesgo a 10 años) (De más a menos recomendable financieramente) Gasolina: El más predecible. Coste bajo, mantenimiento conocido y sin "facturas-bomba". Híbrido Convencional (HEV): Muy fiable. Híbrido Enchufable (PHEV): Doble riesgo (térmico + batería) y futuro legal incierto. Eléctrico (BEV): El más arriesgado. El ahorro diario queda anulado por el riesgo de la batería post-garantía.
