If you are Saved You have heard the voice of GOD. In This Episode I try to answer a question about feeling God is not answering prayers and like he is not helping you. It is him who calls you to repentance and his Spirit who draws you to Salvation. Nobody comes to me unless he is drawn to me by the Father who sent me, and I will raise him up when the last day comes. In the prophets it is written—‘And they shall all be taught by God,' and this means that everybody who has heard the Father's voice and learned from him will come to me. Psalm 19 From the series titled Encounters With God: Hearing, Seeing, Knowing Pastor John King – July 14, 2024
In Acts 16:1-15, we see how important it is to hear the voice of God. Paul and his companions travel, listening to the Holy Spirit for guidance. When they try to go to certain places, the Spirit directs them elsewhere, showing how God's plan is better than our own. In a vision, Paul sees a man from Macedonia asking for help, and they immediately go, trusting God's direction. In Macedonia, they meet Lydia, whose heart God opens to Paul's message, leading to her and her household being baptized. This story shows us that when we listen to God's voice, He guides us to where we can make the biggest difference. It teaches us to trust and follow God's leading, knowing He has a purpose for every step we take.

Popular evangelical Christianity teaches that God's children need to hear the voice of God to live the fulfilling life God calls His children to. But is this true? Does Scripture teach that we need and should expect to hear from God?Does this teaching help or hinder Christian women?Let's talk about it with Pastor Jim Osman, author of the book God Doesn't Whisper who helps us see how the Hearing the Voice of God doctrine undermines Sola Scriptura, presents a weak God, and brings Christians to walk in doubt rather than faith. There are many ways that the Holy Spirit speaks to us. Many people don't know what they are. Scripturally, the bile gives us several examples and reveals how the spirit communicates with us. This message will explain some of the most common ways of dialogue with the Holy Spirit. By no means an exhaustive list.

Host, Zachary Forbes is joined by guests, Patty Parker and Darien Clark. The parable of the wise and foolish builders is so beneficial to the walk of faith. Is your life built on a firm foundation or on sinking sand? The first step to that firm foundation, is listening and obeying God. God initiates everything, so how can we be more succeptible to listen, respond, and walk with Him from a firm foundation? This is a conversation show about the things we're thinking about, the things we care about, and the things that are important to the life and culture for the people of Legacy Church (https://www.legacychurch.org/) in Plano, Texas. We pray this season will offer you times of encouragement, laughter, and most importantly a deeper desire to know and love our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
In this passage Moses gave God's people two options, you can choose life and blessing or death and destruction. The quality of our life is not determined by the breaks we get in this life but by the choices we make. If we choose Jesus and His ways we will choose life and blessing. By Dave Bartlett
