The Church for Entrepreneurs podcast has been a game-changer for me in my entrepreneurial journey. Pastor Amos Johnson's ability to simplify the Word of God and apply it to entrepreneurship is truly remarkable. He breaks down complex concepts into easily digestible nuggets of wisdom that are relatable and applicable. Whether you're looking for practical advice or seeking to align your faith with your business, this podcast delivers on all fronts. The teachings have helped me grow as a Christian and business owner, challenging my own prejudices and helping me see the Word and the Trinity in a new light.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is Pastor Amos' ability to make scripture relevant and applicable to everyday life as an entrepreneur. His messages are always timely and inspirational, providing encouragement and guidance when I'm feeling discouraged or uncertain in my entrepreneurial journey. The podcasts are short, making them easy to listen to while multitasking, whether I'm testing recipes in the kitchen or developing my business plan. The teachings have not only supported me in my entrepreneurial endeavors but have also helped me stay certain of my "Why" by providing The Word that grounds me.
If there was one potential downside to this podcast, it would be that some episodes may be too heavily focused on the intersection of faith and entrepreneurship for listeners who may not identify as Christians or have a strong religious background. However, even for those individuals, the principles shared can still provide valuable insights into running a purpose-driven business.
In conclusion, The Church for Entrepreneurs podcast is an incredible resource for entrepreneurs looking to align their faith with their business endeavors. Pastor Amos Johnson's teachings provide clarity, revelation, and practical advice from the Word like no one else I've encountered. It has been a blessing in my walk with God and my business, helping me build my faith as both an entrepreneur and a Christian. I cannot recommend this podcast enough if you're seeking spiritual guidance and biblical wisdom in your entrepreneurial journey.

Bible Study As you are implementing the calling God has given you, unfortunately bad situations will occur along your journey. However, when a bad situation happens, don't focus on why it happened, instead just ask God to fix it and keep pressing until you receive victory. Open Forum The meeting centered on Bose's question about redemption through Christ, with participants affirming that believers are already redeemed through Jesus' sacrifice while still navigating trials in a fallen world. Anya led initially due to Pastor Amos joining late, and Theresa and Derrick explained that trials build perseverance (James 1:2–6) and that apart from Christ we can do nothing, emphasizing that redemption is both a present reality and a future fulfillment. Several women shared testimonies of faith amid hardship—Anya's journey to Christ after her fiancé's death, Stephanie's experience of God's provision through financial strain and caregiving, and Theresa's story of caring for her mother through inflammatory breast cancer while starting a business—encouraging Bose to remain steadfast. Pastor Amos later clarified that salvation renews the spirit though the soul and body still face challenges, noting that not all promises are fulfilled in this life and stressing the renewal of the mind through God's Word. The group also discussed persecution as a blessing, referencing 1 Peter 3:14 and Matthew 5:10–12, and highlighted perseverance in doing good (Galatians 6:9–10). Finally, they contrasted spiritual success with worldly achievement, urging believers to prioritize God's calling over financial or numerical metrics. __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Open Forum The group discussed biblical insights on dreams and visions, with **Pastor Amos** explaining that dreams are a form of divine communication used by God to reveal guidance or future events, and that interpretation should focus on the overall message rather than isolated symbols. He referenced biblical examples such as Peter and Joseph to show how dreams are clarified over time and cautioned against relying on extra-biblical methods, emphasizing discernment over human interpretation, including tools like ChatGPT. Antoinette shared personal testimonies of dreams that brought guidance, including insight into a couple's marriage, a symbolic warning about wisdom at work, and a faith-filled decision to forgo her son's ear surgery after receiving confirmation through a dream. Pastor Amos also recounted a warning dream involving a purple octopus, reinforcing that God often speaks through personal symbolism shaped by individual experiences. Antonio highlighted that dreams are typically symbolic while visions are more literal, encouraging believers to seek the Lord for clarity. The discussion also addressed discerning church leadership, balancing loyalty with biblical integrity, and knowing when to leave unhealthy environments, concluding with prayer and encouragement to remain open to God's voice through dreams. __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

The group discussed how the Clarity Conference and Friday messages helped them better define their calling, with testimonies of finding breakthrough despite constraints through prayer and trust in God's timing. Pastor Amos highlighted that God often uses limitations to display His strength, referencing the biblical story of the woman with the jar of oil as a model of balancing supernatural faith with practical action. The conversation concluded with a discussion on spiritual discernment in modern culture, including Antoinette's decision to uphold integrity in a UN project despite financial loss, concerns about the secularization of the word "love," and caution regarding practices like yoga, with Pastor Amos advising against them due to their spiritual origins while emphasizing the importance of biblical grounding in all things. __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Daily Word Many marriages struggle not because love is absent, but because God's design is only partially followed. This Daily Word explores how marriage is meant to endure through covenant, accountability, protection, and divine balance. Drawing from Scripture, it explains that marriage is a God-established covenant that creates a new primary allegiance, is actively witnessed by God, and therefore requires intentional honor and guarding. Daily Study Many Christian entrepreneurs want God to increase their business, but growth does not always stop for financial or strategic reasons. This Daily Word examines a leadership principle from 3 John that reveals how truth must be able to move freely through a business for God to scale and sustain it. Using the examples of Gaius, Diotrephes, and Demetrius, this message shows how hospitality allows truth to flow, ego blocks correction, and integrity sustains long-term growth. It also highlights John's warning not to imitate what is evil, explaining how unguarded success can quietly reshape standards and undermine alignment. Christian entrepreneurs are encouraged to examine whether their leadership posture allows truth, accountability, and goodness to govern their decisions so God can trust their business with increase. __________ 3 John 1 CSB, Hebrews 13:1-2 TPT, Romans 12:13 TPT, Proverbs 16:18 ERV, James 4:6 NLT, Proverbs 11:3 MSG, Luke 16:10 NLT __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Daily Word Most leadership models are built on power, visibility, and control. Jesus led in the opposite direction, through humility, service, sacrifice, and obedience to the Father. This message explores why leading like Jesus is not just spiritually admirable but structurally superior, historically disruptive, and eternally relevant. We'll look at how Jesus redefined leadership in a culture obsessed with hierarchy, what the original Hebrew and Greek reveal about His approach, and why modern leaders fail when they ignore His model. Ultimately, these points us back to Jesus, not as a leadership idea, but as the living example we are called to follow. __________ Mark 10:42–45 NIV, 1 Samuel 15 NIV, John 13:3–17 NIV, Philippians 2:5–11 NIV, Isaiah 42:1–4 NIV, Matthew 20:25–28 NIV, Luke 22:26–27 NIV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Bible Study God's callings and God's assignments are not the same. An assignment is a specific instruction from God, often temporary, that serves a purpose within or alongside a lifelong calling. Abraham was called to be the father of many nations, yet his life was shaped by a series of assignments—leaving his homeland, walking in covenant, and obeying step by step—even when he didn't fully understand the calling. In the same way, Peter was called to be a fisher of people, but he still received short-term assignments like catching a fish to meet a temporary need. Jonah was called to be a prophet to Israel, yet God gave him a side assignment to go to Nineveh, proving that even assignments outside our main calling matter deeply to God. Assignments can change, come and go, and even feel uncomfortable, but they must be obeyed faithfully. We are not meant to live in assignments forever, but to complete them and return to walking in our calling. Ultimately, assignments are what we do for God, but a calling is who God made us to be. __________ Genesis 12:1–4 NLT, Genesis 17:1–5 NLT, Matthew 4:18–19 NLT, Matthew 17:27 NLT, 2 Kings 14:25 NLT, Jonah 1:1–4 NLT, Jonah 1:15–17 NLT, Jonah 2:7,10 NLT, Jonah 3:1–3 NLT, Jonah 3:6–10 NLT, Jonah 4:1–3 NLT, Jonah 4:11 NLT, Nahum 3:1 NLT, Zephaniah 2:13 NLT, Genesis 17:4 NLT, Genesis 12:1 NLT, Matthew 4:19 KJV, Matthew 17:27 NLT, 2 Kings 14:25 NLT, Jonah 1:2 NLT, Romans 11:29 NLT, Romans 1:1 NLT __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________
