The teachings have helped me grow as a Christian and business owner, challenging my own prejudices and helping me see the Word and the Trinity in a new light.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is Pastor Amos' ability to make scripture relevant and applicable to everyday life as an entrepreneur. His messages are always timely and inspirational, providing encouragement and guidance when I'm feeling discouraged or uncertain in my entrepreneurial journey. In conclusion, The Church for Entrepreneurs podcast is an incredible resource for entrepreneurs looking to align their faith with their business endeavors. God remains faithful to His promises, especially to Israel, even when they fall away. In Malachi, the call to return through tithing was about restoring the mosaic covenant system by enabling the Levites to fulfill their role, not about tithing itself bringing blessing. For believers today, returning to God is personal—by renewing our mind through His Word and realigning with Him. Even when obedience seems unrewarded, God calls us to trust, return, and experience His faithfulness and care. __________ Malachi 3:6–15 NLT, Numbers 18:20–21 NLT, Nehemiah 13:10–12 NLT, Malachi 2:5–7 NLT, Romans 12:2 NIV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

John the Baptist and Jesus are both portrayed as messengers sent on assignment by God. John's role was to prepare people for Jesus, while Jesus came as the messenger of the New Covenant. Malachi's prophecy points to both of Christ's comings: His first coming in peace as the Lamb, and His second coming in judgment as the Lion. In that future judgment, He will purify His people and judge evildoers, just as Malachi and Revelation describe. Those who truly fear God show they belong to Him, and their lives will not be marked by the sinful deeds named in these warnings. __________ Malachi 3:1-5 NLT, Matthew 11:7-10 NLT, Matthew 21:12-13 NLT, Revelation 6:16-17 NLT, Revelation 21:8 NLT __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

As entrepreneurs, it is very tempting to see a need and start something to fill that need. We have no shortage of money-making ideas or desires to start new ministries to fix various societal ills. However, we need to execute a lot of self-control in this area because great ideas will break our focus and cause us to fail at what God has really called us to do. It may be hard, but we need to say no to every great idea outside of our calling. __________ Luke 4:18 KJV, Matthew 4:23 KJV, Matthew 15:22–28 KJV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Salvation is not earned by our good works or right behavior but is a gift from God received through faith in Jesus Christ. While behavior does not determine salvation, genuine salvation produces transformation, freeing us from the power of sin and leading us into a new life of righteousness. True believers don't use grace as an excuse to keep sinning; rather, they live in a way that reflects their new identity in Christ. Persisting in a lifestyle of sin shows a lack of a genuine relationship with God, while practicing righteousness demonstrates the evidence of being children of God. Salvation is by grace through faith, but authentic faith results in a changed life that honors God. __________ Romans 10:8–10 NIV, Ephesians 2:8–9 NIV, Titus 3:3–7 NIV, Romans 6:1–18 NLT, 1 Corinthians 6:9–20 NLT, 1 John 3:4–10 AMPC, James 2:18 NIV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Our society is obsessed with credibility and credentials. If you are a chef, they want to know what culinary school you went to. If you're a business coach, they want to know what successful business you have personally made a million dollars from. Some Christians believe that seeking and having money will keep you out of the Kingdom of God. They hold this belief, because in the Bible Jesus told a rich, young ruler to sell all he had and give it to poor, and then he could have eternal life. Based on this Bible passage, many have drawn a negative connection between having money and entering the Kingdom of God. So is this true? Well, in today's message, we examine this concept through the Word of God to make a determination. __________ Mark 10:23 KJV, Mark 10:15–17 KJV, Mark 10:19–22 KJV, Luke 19:2–6 KJV, Luke 19:8–9 KJV, Mark 10:24–25 KJV, Exodus 20:3 KJV, Matthew 6:24 KJV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

For many believers, lack of financial stability is a hindrance to the calling God has given them. It is not a hindrance because God can't use us if we are in lack. However, in many cases, financial lack causes us to focus our time and creativity inwardly instead of outwardly. An inward-focused mind is in the wrong position to hear God for the fullness of the vision. Therefore, in the Bible, we see many times how God provides for people's personal financial needs first, and then they step into a major area of their vision. __________ Genesis 1:28–29 KJV, Genesis 3:17–19 KJV, Matthew 2:11 KJV, Acts 6:1–2 KJV, Acts 6:3–4, 7 KJV, Mark 11:2–3 KJV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

We carefully examine what the Bible teaches about divorce and remarriage. We address common misunderstandings, showing that while adultery is a serious sin that can prevent someone from inheriting the kingdom of God, the Bible does not teach that all divorce and remarriage result in adultery. In the Old Covenant, divorce and remarriage were allowed, and Jesus' teachings correct the misuse of divorce by exposing the sinful motives behind wrongful divorces motivated by lust and selfishness. We explore Paul's writings, which emphasize that while God's desire is for marriages to remain intact, there are circumstances, including abandonment by an unbelieving spouse, where divorce and remarriage is permissible. This message encourages us to develop a biblically sound conviction on the heart of marriage, not seek a list of rules for breaking a marriage. __________ Exodus 20:14 NLT, 1 Corinthians 6:9–10 NLT, Deuteronomy 24:1–4 NLT, Matthew 22:28–30 NLT, Matthew 5:21–22 NLT, Matthew 5:27–30 NLT, Matthew 5:31–32 NLT, Matthew 5:31–32 NIV, Matthew 5:31–32 MSG, Luke 16:15 NIV, Hebrews 4:12 KJV, Malachi 2:13–16 NLT, Malachi 2:16 NIV, Matthew 19:3–9 NLT, Matthew 19:8–9 MSG, Mark 10:3–12 NIV, Mark 10:10–12 MSG, Luke 16:13–18 NIV, Luke 16:13–18 NLT, Luke 16:14–18 MSG, Romans 7:1–4 NLT, 1 Corinthians 7:10–15 NLT, 1 Corinthians 7:36–40 NLT __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

When praying for marriage restoration after separation or divorce, begin by asking if it's God's will—don't stand in faith without His direction. Consider if your ex-spouse is available or entangled in another relationship, and ask God if their absence is actually His protection. Be prepared for others not to support your decision to believe for restoration, and commit to the journey regardless of the outcome. Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, requiring both spouses to die to self and become one. Just as covenants in Scripture required sacrifice to become effective, the marriage covenant requires both spouses to give up their independence, past lives, and bodily autonomy in service to one another. Violating this covenant—particularly through adultery or neglecting marital duties—brings spiritual consequences. Even when a marriage begins without God's direction, it must still be honored because God holds us accountable to the promises we make to our spouse. The authority of this covenant is why divorce is not an option and why faithfulness and sacrificial love are non-negotiable. As believers under the New Covenant, we are called back to God's original design: one man, one woman, for life. __________ Malachi 2:13–14 NIV, Proverbs 2:16–17 NIV, Exodus 20:14 NIV, Matthew 5:27–28 NIV, 1 Corinthians 6:9 NIV, Psalm 50:5 NIV, Genesis 15:7–10,17–18 NLT, Hebrews 9:15–19 NLT, Genesis 2:21–24 NLT, Matthew 19:4–6 MSG, Genesis 1:27 KJV, Exodus 19:5 NLT, Exodus 21:10–11 NIV, 1 Corinthians 7:3–5 NIV, Joshua 9:14–20 NIV, Joshua 10:6–14 NIV, Matthew 19:4–9 NIV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

In our guru culture of coaches and mentors, we are being programmed to follow other people's paths to success. This is tempting to our intellect and emotions because we believe that if somebody has made six or seven figures doing it a certain way, then we'll also be successful if we just follow their way. However, this rarely happens. If you look at the results of the guru's students, they rarely reach the same level of success as the guru. And of course the guru says that if you take action, you will make it just like me. Well, people are taking actions, and it is still not working. The reason it is not working is because another person's path to success is not your blueprint from God. And by the way, this also applies to trying to follow the success of someone else's ministry. We find ourselves feeling powerless because we don't realize who we are in Christ and that God has given us the power of decision. And with this power comes great responsibility, but it is our power to use. For example, many women in abusive marriages look to pastors and Bible teachers to answer the question, "Should I get a divorce or should I stay?" And many women get answers that they find unsatisfactory in either direction, and they are plunged into a feeling of powerlessness. Or maybe you are in a job that you hate, and you want to quit your job and start a business. But others are telling you to be responsible and not quit. Or perhaps you are called to the ministry, and your church leadership disagrees with you or doesn't notice your ministry call. Malachi 2:17 warns against treating God's grace as approval of sin. The people had begun saying that God accepts everyone no matter how they live and that His silence means He does not judge wrongdoing. Malachi confronts Israel for betraying both God and one another by breaking sacred covenants. The men of Judah were divorcing the wives they had pledged themselves to in order to marry younger women who worshiped idols, and God calls this unfaithfulness to "the wife of your youth." Their worship was being rejected because their actions violated the covenant they had made before Him. Marriage is portrayed as a union God Himself creates, intended to produce godly children and to be guarded with loyalty of heart. Divorce is described as an act that harms and betrays a spouse, violating the marriage covenant, and God calls His people to remain faithful and protect the relationship they vowed to keep. __________ Malachi 2:10-16 NLT, Malachi 2:16 NIV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

God rebukes spiritual leaders who fail to honor His name and handle His word faithfully. Priests under the Old Covenant were meant to be His messengers, preserving truth, teaching without corruption, and helping turn people away from sin, but instead they became selective in what they taught, showed favoritism, and caused many to stumble. In the same way, pastors today are called to faithfully deliver God's full truth, not just the parts they prefer. God deserves to be honored through sincere obedience, not empty or half-hearted actions. Israel was dishonoring Him by deliberately offering less than their best and by treating obedience as a burden, choosing convenience over faithfulness. This challenges us to examine whether our own actions reflect the same attitude. While we are no longer under the old covenant of animal sacrifices, we are called to follow Jesus under a new covenant. Loving God is demonstrated through obedience to His commands, which are not meant to be burdensome. God desires sincere devotion rather than empty religious actions. When people go through the motions while their hearts are not truly honoring Him, their offerings become meaningless and unacceptable. It is better not to offer anything than to give what is defiled or halfhearted. This serves as a warning against deceiving ourselves by thinking outward actions alone please God. Daily Word God confronts His people for showing Him contempt by offering defiled sacrifices and giving Him their leftovers instead of their best, revealing a lack of honor and respect for Him even though He is their Father and Master. Their actions show they treat worldly authorities with more regard than they treat God, while still expecting His favor. True devotion, however, is not merely about offerings but about loving God with all our heart, soul, and mind, which is demonstrated through obedience to His commands. Daily Word Malachi delivers God's message to Israel during a time when the people had returned from exile, the temple had been rebuilt, but they were still living under foreign rule and had grown spiritually skeptical. Through a dialogue, God declares His love for Israel, yet the people question how He has shown it. God points to His choice of Jacob over Esau as evidence of His covenant love and faithfulness, demonstrating that He raised Israel while bringing down Edom. Even if Edom attempts to rebuild, God declares their efforts will not stand, showing His sovereign authority and enduring commitment to His people. Bible Study The book of Malachi records God confronting Israel after their return from exile, reminding them of His love while exposing how they dishonored Him through halfhearted worship and by offering Him their leftovers instead of their best. Although this message was written to the Jews under their covenant requirements and not directly to us, it was written for us so we can learn from their wrong responses to God. Israel questioned God's love, treated obedience as a burden, and went through religious motions while their hearts were far from Him. Through their failure, we are warned not to approach God with the same attitude. Instead, under our new covenant through Jesus, we are called to give God our whole hearts, live in obedience to His commands, and offer our lives as a pure and genuine offering, learning from Israel's mistakes so that we follow God with sincere devotion rather than empty actions. __________ Malachi 1:1–5 NLT, Malachi 1:6–9 NLT, Matthew 22:36–37 NLT, John 14:15 ESV, Malachi 1:10 NLT, Colossians 3:23–24 NIV, Matthew 15:8–9 NIV, Malachi 1:11 NIV, James 1:27 NLT, Matthew 7:21–23 NLT, Matthew 25:44–46 NLT, Romans 12:1–2 NLT, Malachi 1:12–14 NLT, John 13:34–35 NIV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

At the same time, when others share dreams or words about us, we should remain open but discerning—listening carefully, receiving what aligns with what God is already speaking to us, and setting aside what does not resonate. Above all, every dream or vision must be filtered through Scripture, our unchanging foundation, because God will never contradict His Word. Living in this balance—expectant yet anchored—keeps us spiritually steady and wise. __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Daily Word A tricky trap is allowing the vision God gave you to become your god. When this occurs, you become obsessed with the vision, which leads to stress and anxiousness. Also the vision becomes unsuccessful and destructive to your life. If you continue in this way, at some point, God will remove the anointing for the vision from you. __________ Revelation 2:1–5 KJV, 1 Samuel 15:10–11 KJV, 1 Samuel 15:17 KJV, 1 Samuel 15:24 KJV, Deuteronomy 11:16–17 KJV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Daily Word Most Christians are confused about what is the "mark of the beast." However, God never intended for this to be a confusing or misunderstood topic, because it has great impact on believers, especially believers in the marketplace. This is because the mark of the beast is an economic system that's designed to force believers to conform to worldly non-Christ-like norms and practices. __________ Revelation 13:16–18 KJV, Matthew 11:15 KJV, Deuteronomy 6:6–8 KJV, Deuteronomy 2:7 KJV, Daniel 6:4–5, 7 KJV, Luke 23:34 KJV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Bible Study As you are implementing the calling God has given you, unfortunately bad situations will occur along your journey. However, when a bad situation happens, don't focus on why it happened, instead just ask God to fix it and keep pressing until you receive victory. Asking why is a waste of energy and time, and usually doesn't yield satisfactory answers. There is a peace in not focusing on the bad, but continually pressing toward good. __________ Job 1:21 KJV, Job 38:1–3 KJV, Numbers 23:19 KJV, 1 Kings 17:12, 15, 17–18, 20, 22 KJV, John 10:10 KJV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Open Forum The meeting centered on Bose's question about redemption through Christ, with participants affirming that believers are already redeemed through Jesus' sacrifice while still navigating trials in a fallen world. Anya led initially due to Pastor Amos joining late, and Theresa and Derrick explained that trials build perseverance (James 1:2–6) and that apart from Christ we can do nothing, emphasizing that redemption is both a present reality and a future fulfillment. Several women shared testimonies of faith amid hardship—Anya's journey to Christ after her fiancé's death, Stephanie's experience of God's provision through financial strain and caregiving, and Theresa's story of caring for her mother through inflammatory breast cancer while starting a business—encouraging Bose to remain steadfast. Pastor Amos later clarified that salvation renews the spirit though the soul and body still face challenges, noting that not all promises are fulfilled in this life and stressing the renewal of the mind through God's Word. The group also discussed persecution as a blessing, referencing 1 Peter 3:14 and Matthew 5:10–12, and highlighted perseverance in doing good (Galatians 6:9–10). Finally, they contrasted spiritual success with worldly achievement, urging believers to prioritize God's calling over financial or numerical metrics. __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Daily Word A trap that many entrepreneurs and ministers fall into is making their God-given vision their god, instead of the Lord being their God. This is a deceptive trap. Bible Study Clarity in our calling comes through endings. Just as Abram had to leave his country and eventually separate from Lot before he could clearly see the fullness of God's promise, we too must let go of what is not part of our assignment. When we hold onto activities that God did not intend for our future, they become blinders that limit vision. Endings are not failures; they are pathways to seeing clearly what God is calling us to do. __________ Genesis 12:1, 5 NLT, Genesis 13:5–9, 14–15 NLT, 1 Corinthians 13:12 NLT, Proverbs 19:21 AMPC, Deuteronomy 18:21–22 NLT, 1 Timothy 3:1–5 ASV, 1 Corinthians 14:33 KJV, Matthew 13:31–32 NLT, 1 Corinthians 3:6–7 NLT, Numbers 20:7–12 NLT, Revelation 2:2–5 NLT, John 15:1–2 NLT __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Open Forum The group discussed biblical insights on dreams and visions, with **Pastor Amos** explaining that dreams are a form of divine communication used by God to reveal guidance or future events, and that interpretation should focus on the overall message rather than isolated symbols. He referenced biblical examples such as Peter and Joseph to show how dreams are clarified over time and cautioned against relying on extra-biblical methods, emphasizing discernment over human interpretation, including tools like ChatGPT. Antoinette shared personal testimonies of dreams that brought guidance, including insight into a couple's marriage, a symbolic warning about wisdom at work, and a faith-filled decision to forgo her son's ear surgery after receiving confirmation through a dream. Pastor Amos also recounted a warning dream involving a purple octopus, reinforcing that God often speaks through personal symbolism shaped by individual experiences. Antonio highlighted that dreams are typically symbolic while visions are more literal, encouraging believers to seek the Lord for clarity. The discussion also addressed discerning church leadership, balancing loyalty with biblical integrity, and knowing when to leave unhealthy environments, concluding with prayer and encouragement to remain open to God's voice through dreams. __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________
