    Ivy Insights

The Church for Entrepreneurs podcast has been a game-changer for me in my entrepreneurial journey. Pastor Amos Johnson's ability to simplify the Word of God and apply it to entrepreneurship is truly remarkable. He breaks down complex concepts into easily digestible nuggets of wisdom that are relatable and applicable. Whether you're looking for practical advice or seeking to align your faith with your business, this podcast delivers on all fronts. The teachings have helped me grow as a Christian and business owner, challenging my own prejudices and helping me see the Word and the Trinity in a new light.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is Pastor Amos' ability to make scripture relevant and applicable to everyday life as an entrepreneur. His messages are always timely and inspirational, providing encouragement and guidance when I'm feeling discouraged or uncertain in my entrepreneurial journey. The podcasts are short, making them easy to listen to while multitasking, whether I'm testing recipes in the kitchen or developing my business plan. The teachings have not only supported me in my entrepreneurial endeavors but have also helped me stay certain of my "Why" by providing The Word that grounds me.

If there was one potential downside to this podcast, it would be that some episodes may be too heavily focused on the intersection of faith and entrepreneurship for listeners who may not identify as Christians or have a strong religious background. However, even for those individuals, the principles shared can still provide valuable insights into running a purpose-driven business.

In conclusion, The Church for Entrepreneurs podcast is an incredible resource for entrepreneurs looking to align their faith with their business endeavors. Pastor Amos Johnson's teachings provide clarity, revelation, and practical advice from the Word like no one else I've encountered. It has been a blessing in my walk with God and my business, helping me build my faith as both an entrepreneur and a Christian. I cannot recommend this podcast enough if you're seeking spiritual guidance and biblical wisdom in your entrepreneurial journey.

A fallen angel opens the bottomless pit, releasing demonic locusts that torment those without God's seal, showing that even demons remain under God's control. The Church's absence suggests the rapture has occurred. The sixth trumpet releases four bound angels and a vast army that kills a third of humanity, yet people still refuse to repent. Before the final trumpet, a mighty angel announces God's plan is about to be fulfilled. John eats a scroll symbolizing the message he must proclaim—sweet to receive but bitter in its judgment. Jesus' calling was to save us, and He did it well, but to accomplish His calling, He had to "take up His cross." Similarly, Jesus instructs us to "take up our cross" and follow Him. But what does this really mean? To achieve the calling God has given us, taking up our cross represents going in a different direction than normal society and being considered foolish for following the dream God has given us. It is the complete surrender of our will to achieve the calling God gave us, until we leave this earth through death or rapture.       Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com

Midweek Service: Throughout history, countless individuals and groups have tried to predict the day and hour of Christ's return, from early church fathers to modern-day preachers, yet every attempt has failed, showing the futility of setting dates. Scripture makes it clear that while Jesus will indeed return, both to rapture His Church and later to appear in glory after the great tribulation, the exact timing remains hidden—“like a thief in the night.” The rapture will come suddenly, when life on earth seems relatively peaceful, as believers are caught up with Christ and the restraint on the Antichrist is removed, ushering in a time of unparalleled tribulation. The second coming, distinct from the rapture, will be a visible event seen by all, occurring after this tribulation when Christ returns in power and glory to judge and to reign. Both events are certain but unknowable in timing, emphasizing not prediction but readiness: believers are called to stay alert, live in the light, and hold fast to the hope of salvation rather than be swayed by false prophecies or claims of secret knowledge.   Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com

True believers don't use grace as an excuse to keep sinning; rather, they live in a way that reflects their new identity in Christ. Persisting in a lifestyle of sin shows a lack of a genuine relationship with God, while practicing righteousness demonstrates the evidence of being children of God. Sunday Service: Revelation 4 presents a vivid vision of the heavenly throne room that John sees after being spiritually transported to heaven. At the center is God's throne, surrounded by brilliant light and symbolic elements like a sea of glass and flashes of lightning, representing His holiness, power, and majesty. Around the throne are 24 elders clothed in white with crowns on their heads, symbolizing redeemed believers who share in God's rule but humbly cast their crowns before Him in worship. Four living creatures, identified with characteristics of seraphim, continually proclaim God's holiness. The chapter emphasizes God's absolute authority, the continual worship He receives, and the central role of His glory in heaven.   Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com

    What is faith?

Midweek Service: Most Christians know that we need faith, but what exactly is faith, what can we do with it, and how do we get it? When I was younger, I believed that if I had enough faith, I would be invincible to all problems and could claim anything I wanted. However, as I got older and learned more about faith, I discovered that it's not quite like that. While faith does overcome all problems, it doesn't make me invincible or allow me to “believe” for anything I want. Rather, faith is believing a specific word from God for your life and aligning your speech and actions with that word. Is the Bible Real?

Midweek Service: We will wrestle with one of the most important questions of our faith: Is the Bible real? None of us were alive during the time of Jesus, which means everything we know about Him comes through a single source—the Bible. That places the weight of our entire belief system on one book. Yet there is strong evidence affirming that Jesus is the Son of God, as eyewitnesses saw Him die on the cross and rise again. By His resurrection, Jesus not only confirmed His identity but also validated the truth of both the Old and New Testaments. Because Jesus proved Himself to be real, His life and teachings confirm that the Bible is trustworthy. In this message, we will examine this powerful truth together and deepen our confidence that the Bible is not just a book, but the living Word of God. Sunday Service: Laodicea, a wealthy and self-sufficient city known for its banking, textiles, and medical advancements, had allowed its prosperity to blind it to its need for God. Jesus, identifying Himself as the Amen—the fulfillment of God's promises and the beginning of God's new family—reminded them that everything centers on Him, not their riches. Using the city's lukewarm water supply as an illustration, He exposed how their faith had become useless—neither refreshing like cold water nor healing like hot, but corrupted by pride and self-reliance. Unlike other churches, Laodicea received no praise, only rebuke, for their love of money had displaced their love for God, echoing the warnings given to Israel and the lesson of the rich young ruler. Jesus called them to trade worldly wealth for spiritual riches, to put on the white garment of salvation, and to see clearly through His truth rather than through the blindness of prosperity. Though they had shut Him out, His discipline proved His love, and He stood ready to reenter if they repented and invited Him back in. This warning extended beyond Laodicea, reminding all believers that salvation requires ongoing faithfulness, dependence on Christ alone, and a refusal to let wealth or self-sufficiency replace devotion to Him. Is Jesus coming back in September?

Daily Study: Many people online are predicting the rapture will happen on September 23rd or 24th, often linking it to the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashanah, also called the Feast of Trumpets, but the Bible makes it clear that no one knows the day or the hour of Christ's return—not even the angels or Jesus Himself. Scripture teaches that His coming will be sudden, like a thief in the night, catching unbelievers off guard but not surprising believers, since we know He promised to return. God does not reveal the exact time because He wants His people to live ready every day, faithfully and expectantly, rather than waiting until the last moment. For Christians, the rapture is not something to fear but something to look forward to with joy, as it fulfills God's promise to His people.
