Daily Study Are you living from paycheck to paycheck? No matter how much money you make, is it still not enough? If so, you may be living under the curse: working merely to survive but never having enough. Daily Study Experiencing financial lack while pursuing God's calling—whether in business, ministry, or nonprofit spaces—is not necessarily a sign that you are doing something wrong. The Apostle Paul and other apostles faced severe hardship; they were hungry and thirsty, had insufficient clothing, and sometimes had no home. However, even through these financial struggles, they were doing exactly what God had called them to do. Financial struggle is not an automatic indicator that you are on the wrong path. 1 Corinthians 4:8-13 NLT [8] You think you already have everything you need. You think you are already rich. You have begun to reign in God's kingdom without us! I wish you really were reigning already, for then we would be reigning with you.  [9] Instead, I sometimes think God has put us apostles on display, like prisoners of war at the end of a victor's parade, condemned to die. We have become a spectacle to the entire world-to people and angels alike.  [10] Our dedication to Christ makes us look like fools, but you claim to be so wise in Christ! Revelation Series: Revelation 11–12 reveals the unfolding of the seven-year tribulation, divided into two halves of 3.5 years. During the first half, God's two witnesses—likely modeled after Moses and Elijah—prophesy against the rising Antichrist until he, empowered by demonic forces, kills them; after three and a half days, God resurrects and raptures them, signaling a shift into the Great Tribulation. The seventh trumpet then proclaims God's coming reign and reveals His heavenly temple. Chapter 12 depicts Israel giving birth to Jesus while Satan, symbolized as the dragon, attempts to destroy Him but is cast from heaven to earth. In rage, Satan pursues Israel, whom God protects in the wilderness for 3.5 years, and then turns against those who come to faith after the rapture, leading to intense persecution and martyrdom as his final rebellion unfolds. Daily Study: Success culture promotes the idea of starting your own venture so you can be your own boss. Essentially, this notion encourages an escape from submission. Daily Study: Jesus died on the cross for our sins so that we could be reconciled to God as His children. Jesus' calling was to save us, and He did it well, but to accomplish His calling, He had to "take up His cross." Similarly, Jesus instructs us to "take up our cross" and follow Him. But what does this really mean? To achieve the calling God has given us, taking up our cross represents going in a different direction than normal society and being considered foolish for following the dream God has given us. When the seventh seal is broken, heaven falls silent as judgment intensifies. The prayers of the saints rise before God, and the trumpet judgments begin, bringing devastation to the earth.
