A part of a trio renowned for their love of architecture, good design and great lines, Rachel Moore can walk into a room and know exactly what it needs with a glance. Nestled in LA's much-hyped Northeast neighborhood, Madison Modern Home is a staging company that averages 100 homes each year, staging more than $100 million worth of real estate in 2022 alone. All beginning from leasing a 7,000-square-foot warehouse. Sitting with Rachel to talk about their origin story, lessons learned, struggles, and the systems they've implemented to improve their business was a session I did not want to end. Whether you're in the growth phase or looking to accelerate or leverage your staging business, there's valuable information for you in this conversation. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN FROM THIS EPISODE: How Madison Modern Home came to be and its beginning low days. How Madison Modern Home appeals to its customers. We really don't have that much to say about Mad Mod, episode 10 of Teen Titans. It's light, fun, and goofy and not much else. We talk about our experiences with school, generational divides, and why this is a poor follow up to Masks. And we talk about how cool and competent Robin is. Well, one of us does. Note: At the end of the episode we talk about "The Clinic," a staged reading benefiting the ACLU SoCal and WRRAP to raise funds for reproductive rights. The Mad Mod! Robot barracudas and and a far too long debate about "houndstooth" abound as the Titans take a Rock & Roll whirlwind tour of Europe. We might have flown to close to the liquor sun on this one and it may have melted the wax on our wings of coherence. Which is to say, much like this metaphor, this episode got away from us a little.
Episode two has us looking at season 1 episode 10 of Teen Titans! We take on the crazy Mad Mod and get way to excited about the show in general. Steve and Perry get kicked off the show.
On this week's ATA DC Nation section our discussion is all about the heroes of the DC Universe facing the consequences of what they've done under the influence of mind control or super villainy as this week's Green Lantern The Animated Series “Fear Itself” episode dealt with Kilowog turning on Hal and this week's Young Justice entitled “Auld Acquaintance” had a Starro controlled Justice League turn on Aqualad and his team. Even the heroes in this week's shorts had to face the results of their actions as Plastic Man turned on the TV itself and Robin in the course of defeating Mad Mod took The New Teen Titans to the future. Meanwhile in the Smallville Season 11 department, things were good between Clark and Oliver as they performed a solid superhero team up but Chloe realized she might be making a mistake on the decision to move away from the Watchtower in Metropolis as a mysterious spacecraft, which Michael and I share a few crackpot theories about in this episode heads towards Earth.
