Brandon and I take a bite out of the Kit Harrington Werewolf movie, The Beast Within! The Beast Within reunites Harrington with his fellow Game Of Thrones castmate, James Cosmo. You may also remember Cosmo from Mel Gibson's Braveheart, Troy and Highlander! With the new Universal Wofman movie coming in January of 2025, is this a good monster film to hold us over until the time of the release of Wolfman? Marc from the Toys of a Time Gone by joins us to discuss a few of his favorite werewolf movies! Plot: After a series of strange events leads her to question her family's isolated life on a fortified compound deep in the English wilds, 10-year-old Willow follows her parents on one of their secret late-night treks to the forest's heart. One last physical media show for 2024 and still time to get those last-minute Christmas gifts. Erik Childress and Peter Sobczynski take you through a bundle that includes two of the all-time masterpieces by John Ford and Francis Ford Coppola. Land is very much in the conversation from films by Ron Howard and Michael Winterbottom. There are aliens in the water, in the womb and something else aboard a submarine from WWII. We've got conspiracies, punks and missing thumbs plus the films of Steve De Jarnatt. John Wayne and Cary Grant in 4K plus a couple of solid Sylvester Stallone films including one from 50 years ago and another set in the future. Finally, one of the greatest TV shows of all-time gets the 4K upgrade it deserves as the duo recount some of their favorite episodes and moments from Seinfeld. 0:55 - Criterion (Evil Does Not Exist) 5:08 – Studio Canal (The Conversation 4K) 11:33 - Warner Archive (The Tall Target, Black Eye, Heavy Traffic) 20:33 - Sandpiper (The Lords of Flatbush, The Pope of Greenwich Village) 31:10 - Sony (The Talk of the Town 4K) 34:50 - Warner Bros. Ok peeps! We are back on track after a CRAZY week last week.Zip and Christian are back in the Zipcave but Zip has a hard time keeping Christian quiet so he can apologize to the fans (of course, this is hilarious). Then it's on to business, and sad business it is. Sid Eudy, a.k.a. 'Sid Vicious' and 'Psycho Sid' passed away at the age of 64. The guys take a moment for the future hall-of-famer (it's a sin he's not already in). After that, it's discussion time, with Christian speaking on watching the new films The Watchers and A Quiet Place: Day One. Zip gives his take for the week on Longlegs and the new Kit Harrington thriller The Beast Within (don't bother). Also, a new docuseries on Vince McMahon coming to Netflix, the new animated Terminator: Zero series brings a fresh perspective, Sigourney Weaver discusses the chances of her return to the Alien franchise, a new V/H/S film on the way and much more!Don't forget to follow the guys on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. Before we get to Fantasia we talk about the rumored Spawn movie. There have been reports about this film for literally decades. Is there any reason to be excited this time around? Plus, a remake that has taken surprisingly long to see the light of day. And sharks, folk horror, and more sharks! We love exploitation films. We have also been known to enter the world of arthouse cinema on our humble little podcast. But what happens when the two worlds collide? Hollywood 90028 is not the only movie to combine the two, but there were not too many that were doing it in 1973.A main character you will not know what to make of, some tasteful nudity (and some not so much), and long monologues are just the tip of the iceberg. Released during a time when the country was struggling to find a new identity, Hollywood 90028 takes on a number of themes. It is not perfect, but it is one of the most interesting movies we have ever discussed on this show. The Beast Within is a Fantasia World Premiere that left us torn. Clearly, it is an allegory for something more. The question is, does it deliver on its message? The performances are great and the setting is beautiful. So why did we both have different opinions about it? Adventures in Movies! is a part of the Morbidly Beautiful Podcast Network. Morbidly Beautiful is your one stop shop for all your horror needs. Today on Bridging the Gap, Pastor Lloyd Pulley shares preventative tips based on Christ's great Sermon on the Mount. Before you think yourself to be above the sin of adultery, consider what Jesus had to say about lust. I think it's safe to say that we'll all gain something from today's lesson.
Lust, adultery, and fornication, are ages-old problems for the human race. While sex is God given, it must also be God governed, as we'll see today on Bridging the Gap. Pastor Lloyd Pulley continues his study of the great Sermon on the Mount by looking at Matthew five, verses twenty seven and twenty eight, in a message titled “Taming the Beast Within”.
In this podcast episode, Julie interviews Mark Cheverton, a former teacher and author of 27 action-adventure novels for kids. Mark discusses his latest book, "Facing the Beast Within," which addresses anxiety in children. He shares his personal connection to the topic, revealing that he was an anxious child himself. His son's experience inspired Mark's transition from teaching to writing with cyberbullying, leading him to self-publish a book set in the Minecraft universe. His success came after multiple rejections and self-publishing efforts, eventually leading to traditional publishing deals. Mark emphasizes the importance of taking risks and the therapeutic power of writing, both for himself and as a tool to help children cope with their struggles.Mark's journey is not just about crafting thrilling tales; it's about touching lives. His latest masterpiece, "Facing the Beast Within," is a beacon of hope for kids grappling with anxiety. It's a topic close to my heart, and I believe it's a must-read for our little ones. Here's a sneak peek into the treasures we unearthed during our talk:
Back in 2019, and months before the pandemic, pop star Madonna made headlines with her performance at Eurovision dressed as the Antichrist from Zechariah 11. The event was held in Israel, and Madonna as Antichrist sang ‘Like A Prayer' to a packed house of Jews and Palestinians, wearing an ‘X' eye patch while mocking the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Here on Day 1,463 of 15 Days To Flatten The Curve, Madonna yet again is singing love songs about the coming Antichrist, as are many of her music peers. On this episode of the NTEB Prophecy News Podcast, you might be too involved in following your treasured sports teams and memorizing their stats to notice that Satanism is now present in every aspect of life here in America, as well as around the globe. What do I mean? You have street fights, mob assaults and vicious beatings on school children, senior citizens and pregnant women taking place on a daily basis in every major city. You have Democrats in America foaming at the mouth in fury as they demand a return to Roe v. Wade for unlimited abortion at any time. You have social media influencers with vast audiences posting videos encouraging suicide, violence and all manner of mayhem. In music, you have Platinum selling artists like Madonna, Taylor Swift and many others whose concerts have become open, and obvious, satanic rituals. Why is all this happening now? Because the man of sin is about to be revealed, and we who are saved are about to fly. Join us today as we show you just how bad, and how good for those who believe, things really are right now.

Mark Cheverton is on the Reading With Your Kids Podcast to celebrate his children's book facing the beast within. He explains that the story is about a group of kids who must stop a demon from invading and destroying New Orleans. Mark shares that the story was inspired by his own son's struggles with severe anxiety in school. He discusses how removing his son from the traditional school environment helped alleviate his anxiety symptoms. Mark also talks about including anxiety coping techniques from child psychologists in the book to help other anxious children. He provides the example of "box breathing" and has the host and himself demonstrate it. Mark discusses his son's ongoing success in college now and how facing the beast within aims to help kids know they are not alone in their struggles.
