In his weekly dose of commentary on local, regional and international politics, United Independent Movement (UIM) President Neil de Beer analyses the Freedom Front Plus move to shun the Democratic Alliance (DA) in favour of the African National Congress (ANC) in Oudtshoorn. He describes the FF+'s Corné Mulder as “a very astute politician” and says his party - with its new partnership with the ANC - is positioning itself as an “alternative for future government”. He also has praise for Police Minister Senzo Mchunu who is “calm, cool, and very structured and collected”. As for the latest raid on a firearm training facility, he says there is no law that stops South Africans from being trained to protect themselves against criminals who are using “weapons of war”. Another Minister who gets his approval is Home Affairs' Leon Schreiber who “actually understands” law and order. On the international front, De Beer looks at how the conflict in the Middle East has spilled over into  Europe and the UK “where they have had the most brutal uprisings” - and warns: “And this is making the people across the world go, if this thing kicks off, this is going to be World War III.”

Continuing the New 52 Animated series of movies, Stew and Justin discuss Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, which sees Terra as a newcomer to the team, voiced by Christina Ricci. With Terra's help, they are faced with an enemy known as Brother Blood, who has hired an old adversary of the team: Deathstroke (this time voiced by the late Miguel Ferrer!). The hit DC TV series Titans is back with the fourth season and with new faces such as Joseph Morgan portraying Sebastian Blood aka Brother Blood. The new season will also be focusing on Joshua Orpin's Connor Kent aka Superboy and his origins. Fans will also be eagerly waiting for Titus Welliver's debut as the supervillain Lex Luthor in the show. Fans have been speculating that a version of Superman, the Man of Steel himself could make his Titans debut. Considering Henry Cavill announced his shock return as Superman in the DC films universe just a week ago, it is not outside the realm of possibility that another Superman could also make a surprise appearance.

Roy is surprised when Thea (Willa Holland) not only encourages him to help, but joins the search. Unfortunately, Sin's friend is connected to Brother Blood (guest star Kevin Alejandro), and their search ultimately gets one of them seriously injured. Starling Tribune - Season 2 Edition – Crucible   The Official Arrow Podcast of the Gonna Geek Network   In this edition of the Starling Tribune the reporters Wing, Jay and Stargate Pioneer discuss the packed fourth episode of season two titled “Crucible.” The reporters comment on the name since it is a re-tread from the sixth episode of season one, “Legacies,” in which the concept of Crucible was explored. SP is finally vindicate as he finally gets to the point in his series watch where Sara returns from the dead! The reporters also comment on Sara's character re-casting, Sara's capture, and whether or not the episode got the Sara reveal right in the episode since she was in both the flashbacks and the show's real-time scenes.   One of the most powerful scenes in the episode was when Sara watches her Dad, Quentin Lance, ask Oliver Queen for help over Laurel through the window. And the reporter discuss Laurel's struggle with alcohol and wonder if Laurel's DUI stop was actually a villain setup or not. And pay attention to Sara's question about Slade Wilson.   In another major storyline, the reporters all express their happiness at the return of Isabell Rochev (A.K.A. Summer Glau). And Reporter Wing runs down Isabell's comic book background.   The reporters also discuss the live action fighting and shooting scenes. Just how realistic is it in this episode? And the reporters give their take on why the citizens of Starling City and specifically The Glades are fighting so much for what they have left instead of searching for a better opportunity or taken somewhere else.   The flashbacks in the episode were full of plot even though there was not a lot of time spent on them during the episode. The reporters tell what they enjoyed about them including “Prochnost.” Reporter Jay gives background into Brother Blood's mask while SP thinks it is something out of Stargate. The hosts also seems to disagree on if Laurel knows that Oliver Queen is the Green Arrow, but they all dig deeper into why the Laurel character does turn so far against the vigilante. Roy seems to know how to crash a crappy red bulletproof Mustang. And the hosts all take their stab as to what the show should call vigilante Roy. Roy and Oliver's relationship continues to evolve.
