Steaming back on the couch from the first official meeting of the ABC, the boys have plenty to yarn about their adventures at Meatstock in T-Bar: trying crocodile sandwiches, tearing the flats and even judging beard and moustache competitions, the event truly had it all and we can't thank the trendsetters enough for showing up and having a beer and a yarn with us. Cooking with Daddy is looking to dive into the smoked cocktail game and there is plenty happening in the Alpha News with a birth on an airplane, plenty in the biffing scene and a return to the alien front. Some good laughs for motivation for a change and we tie up the show with our plans for the week: Tommy's off to CMC and Cambo is off to DKC for a wedding, it's all happening at HQ! Chlebowski is located in the U.S. in central Pennsylvania, almost the dead centre of the state a little north of the capital of Harrisburg. This is rural country. You can hear the clip-clop of horses as the Amish buggies go by many a morning where he has a farm of seven and a half acres. The Doc is into the world of charcuterie starting his meat-curing journey about 15 years ago. That was a really a reintroduction for him as his grandfather had a small grocery store in southwestern PA.There they made an array of fresh sausages, had a small butcher shop, and processed deer there in the hunting season. At first, he made the family kielbasa, a few venison, and fresh sausages. Then went to a first hog butchering class. Since then, he has gone on to raise pigs. Join us for a deep dive into curing hogs.

When Frodo wakes, he finds himself in the house of Elrond in Rivendell. Gandalf is present and tells Frodo everyone is safe, fills in some of the details of the narrow escape at the Ford of Bruinen, and explains he had been delayed because he was held captive. Gandalf also tells Frodo, as soon as he is well enough, there is to be a Council, at which Frodo will learn the answers to many questions. Gandalf explains that the "Black Riders are the Ringwraiths, the Nine servants of the Lord of the Rings," and that Aragorn is of the "race of the Kings from over the Sea," as are all Rangers. Frodo is astounded. Soon, Frodo feels well enough to socialize with his friends and the others in Elrond's house. Sam, who has been anxiously waiting for Frodo to recover, shows him around the big house. A great feast takes place in the hall of Elrond's house. After the feast, they retire to the Hall of Fire for singing and storytelling, and Frodo is surprised and delighted to find Bilbo there. After passing the evening together, they head off to bed to get a night's rest before the Council. The Fellowship of the Ring: Written by J.R.R. Tolkien. Soundtrack composed by Howard Shore. Audiobook narrated, produced, and edited by Phil Dragash. Art by Jian Guo.
