This week on Kliq This, Big Kev finally gets to check something off his bucket list—an overdue Roman holiday that was years in the making. But this isn't your typical “celebrity goes to Europe” story. From chaotic baggage claim drama to a near-lost suitcase that almost derailed the entire vacation, Kevin and Sean unpack the highs, lows, and hilarity of international travel when you're 6'10" and fresh off bronchitis. What starts as a long-awaited romantic getaway turns into a globe-trotting saga that includes castle hikes with punishing inclines, a chance run-in with European mariachi music, and, oh yeah—Kevin just happened to be in Rome when the city got a new pope. If you're here for travel stories with Nash's signature blend of sarcasm and storytelling, this one's a can't-miss. But the show doesn't stay in Europe for long. Sean checks in with tales from a wrestling convention stateside, featuring surprise encounters with old faces and a conversation about why the indie scene might be struggling. Meanwhile, Kevin reflects on how Sabu deserves to be remembered, and how the toll of the wrestling business leaves its mark on everyone who walks through those ropes. Also in this episode: airline gripes, smoked salmon breakfasts, Delta One pods that still can't contain Nash's legs, and how WWE's lighting decisions during RAW are raising some eyebrows. And yes, Kevin finally addresses the fans who thought he took a call from Triple H mid-show last week. Spoiler alert: he didn't—but the reaction has him shaking his damn head. If you've ever wondered what it's like to explore ancient ruins, work through modern travel headaches, and still weigh in on the state of wrestling with the sharpest wit in the game—Kliq This #150 is your first-class ticket. The path to smart manufacturing excellence is paved with strategy, not just technology. As manufacturing facilities face increasing pressure to modernize, many struggle with where to begin. The answer lies not in rushing to install the newest devices, but in gaining clarity about your current state. We unpack three essential steps that form the foundation of any successful smart manufacturing journey. First, the installed asset analysis—a comprehensive evaluation of your facility's electrical and control infrastructure that delivers objective truth rather than assumptions. This critical assessment reveals obsolete equipment, identifies gaps in critical spares, and highlights potential safety hazards that could derail your operations. When you understand what you truly have, you can make informed decisions about what needs to change. The second step involves exploring possibilities through a smart tech review. This immersive, hands-on approach demonstrates how modern technologies can improve diagnostics, connectivity, and performance in your specific environment. By bringing together diverse stakeholders—from maintenance technicians to IT personnel—these reviews transform into creative workshops where your team can imagine future possibilities. Finally, progression planning bridges your current state with your desired future through a strategic roadmap. This multi-year plan ensures every replacement moves you forward, standardizing on smarter, connected devices while establishing data collection priorities aligned with your operational goals. The key is collaborative development across departments to turn upgrade necessities into innovation opportunities.Manufacturing excellence doesn't require perfect conditions to begin transformation. Start small with targeted assessments, build momentum through incremental improvements, and partner with experts who understand both the technology and the practical challenges of implementation. Your smart manufacturing journey begins with understanding where you are—then deciding where you want to go.Keep Asking Why...Smart Manufacturing Resources:Smart Manufacturing GuideRead our latest article on Smart Manufacturing herehttps://eecooline.com/inspire/smart_journey_beginOnline Account Registration:Video Explanation of Registering for an AccountRegister for an AccountOther Resources to help with your journey:Installed Asset Analysis SupportSystem Planning SupportSchedule your Visit to a Lab in North or South CarolinaSchedule your Visit to a Lab in VirginiaSubmit your questions and feedback to: podcast@eecoaskwhy.comFollow EECO on LinkedInHost: Chris Grainger
Content warning: child sexual abuse material, child sexual assault, sexual assault, nonconsensual pornography, sexual violence, sexual paraphilia, and pedophilia. Kim is a mother and nurse from Indiana. She reached out to the Broken Cycle Media team in hopes of sharing her story for the first time to bring awareness to a trajectory she never thought she would have had to traverse. Nearly a decade into her marriage, her whole life changed with a home raid by the FBI and several other criminal justice forces. The organizations would consequently find a large catalogue of child sexual abuse material in her then-husband's possession. However, at the start, Kim was not aware of all facets of his crimes. It would eventually take her years to learn everything, as well as to receive what closure the legal system offered. We are so grateful that Kim was willing to highlight all that continues to come next for her and her children, and that she is sharing her immense fortitude and strength with our audience today. Digital transformation in manufacturing isn't achieved through sweeping overhauls—it happens through progression. Like mountain climbers confronting "false summits" where they think they've reached the peak only to discover more climbing ahead, manufacturers often face discouraging plateaus on their journey toward modernization. The key to conquering these challenges? Smart devices that provide the connectivity foundation for everything that follows.Smart manufacturing begins with standardization of your network infrastructure. Before implementing any technology, you need clear standards for communication protocols across all levels—from field devices to enterprise systems. Without this foundation, scaling becomes virtually impossible. Following the wisdom to "think big, act small," successful implementations typically begin with a single production line or process cell as a test bed. Define what data you need, prove the concept works, and only then scale across additional systems. The most challenging aspect for many manufacturers isn't collecting data—it's transforming that raw information into actionable insights that drive meaningful decisions. Power meters, temperature sensors, motor overload relays, and other smart devices provide tremendous data, but without standardized formats, monitoring mechanisms, and analytics tools, that information remains underutilized. When evaluating smart devices, focus on capabilities that provide relevant insights for your specific applications rather than being distracted by features that won't deliver practical value. As you progress in your smart manufacturing journey, prepare for emerging technologies by establishing Ethernet standardization, enabling mobile integration for real-time access via smartphones, and exploring how AI can prevent downtime through predictive analytics. Remember that progress happens incrementally—one small, intentional step after another. The marathon toward modernization is won through continuous improvement, not overnight transformation.Smart Manufacturing Resources:Smart Manufacturing GuideRead our latest article on Smart Manufacturing herehttps://eecoonline.com/inspire/smart_manufacture_conceptOnline Account Registration:Video Explanation of Registering for an AccountRegister for an AccountOther Resources to help with your journey:Installed Asset Analysis SupportSystem Planning SupportSchedule your Visit to a Lab in North or South CarolinaSchedule your Visit to a Lab in VirginiaSubmit your questions and feedback to: podcast@eecoaskwhy.comFollow EECO on LinkedInHost: Chris Grainger
It’s time to renew your premise ID. If you have livestock – maybe you’re milking 3,000 cows or maybe you’ve just started a chicken flock in your backyard with three birds. Registering your premise with the Wisconsin Livestock Identification Consortium is the law. WLIC manages these premise registrations for the state. If there’s an animal disease outbreak, it allows the state to come up with a plan to protect livestock owners. Scott Schneider of Nature Link Farms knows firsthand how detrimental a disease outbreak can be for a commercial flock - he’s dealt with the highly pathogenic avian influenza on his farm. Scott has a cage-free egg-laying operation near Lake Mills. He produces about 20,000 dozens of eggs per day. He says consumers also feel the effect of a disease outbreak, starting with the price of eggs in the grocery store. Register your premise at wiid.org. Hey you! Are you thinking about starting a Canadian private practice in 2025? If so, what is going to help you achieve the first step of your dream affordably and hassle-free? I know exactly what it is like to want to start a Canadian private practice but have no idea how to tackle it. It seems like a mountain of decisions and so many admin tasks. However, I went through it myself, and I've put all of my lessons, experiences, and advice into one comprehensive, simple, and free e-course - just for you! And I don't hold back either. Everything is in there! If you are curiously excited about the prospect of opening up your practice doors within 2025, listen and read on! In this episode: My journey What you need to know before Keep the bills in mind Create your dream private practice Get yourself affordable and effective support My journey Being my own boss meant to me that I had the freedom of choice. I wanted the freedom to set my own schedule, to counsel clients with therapeutic modalities that I was passionate about, and because I enjoy a bit of a challenge! What you need to know before Of course, before you start your private practice, you want to make sure that you have a Master's degree in counselling and that you are either certified and/or licensed by your provincial college. Then, you need to decide whether you want an online or an in-person private practice, or even a hybrid version of these two. If you are strapped for cash when you start out, consider starting with an online private practice to save you some money in the initial stages of your practice. Or, if you are decided to start as an in-person counsellor, you can contact other practices and see if they are willing to rent out their office space to you on weekends or off-peak hours for you to see your clients. Keep the bills in mind Whether you are doing in-person or online therapy, it will help you tremendously to have savings in the bank before you embark on this journey. If you don't have a few months of savings in the bank, you can work part-time in another job or practice while you start your own on the side. Create your dream private practice Now the fun part begins! Once you have decided on the crucial business steps, you can now start to have some fun with the process and bring everything to fruition one step at a time. Here are some of the necessary decisions you need to make: Liability insurance Your niche Naming the practice Registering your practice Building the website Choosing an EMR Getting professional photos taken Designing a logo Deciding on the prices for your sessions Installing a business phone Opening a bank account Get yourself affordable and effective support When I started my private practice nine years ago, there was hardly any Canadian-focused content out there for me to learn from. I had to do it all myself from scratch, so I know the feeling of not knowing what to do or how to do it. Now, after my nine years in private practice, I have put my ideas, experiences, and lessons learned into a free e-course for new Canadian private practice therapists like yourself! In it, you will find all the answers to the questions above and more. So, if you want to start a private practice in 2025, I recommend you check out this course which will give you everything you need to know to have your practice doors ready to open in six months. However, if you are eager to start sooner than six months, I have my purchasable workbook that gets you there faster - and it's under $20 CAD! Treating human beings like cars is kinda strange when you stop to think about it. Just like when you buy a new car and have to register it with the government, you're supposed to register your new child with the government. And that... is crazy and a little sick. This week, Aria and Nikki talk about this, and the myth that it's something that is actually critical to do shortly after the birth. In this episode of the Cybersecurity Defenders podcast, we recount some hacker history, and with the help of Marcus Hutchins, tell the story of the WannaCry ransomware attack. The WannaCry ransomware attack was a worldwide cyberattack in May 2017 by the WannaCry ransomware cryptoworm, which targeted computers running the Microsoft Windows operating system by encrypting data and demanding ransom payments in the Bitcoin cryptocurrency. It propagated by using EternalBlue, an exploit developed by the United States National Security Agency (NSA) for Windows systems. EternalBlue was stolen and leaked by a group called The Shadow Brokers a month prior to the attack. Researcher Marcus Hutchins discovered the kill switch domain hardcoded in the malware. Registering a domain name for a DNS sinkhole stopped the attack spreading as a worm, because the ransomware only encrypted the computer's files if it was unable to connect to that domain, which all computers infected with WannaCry before the website's registration had been unable to do. While this did not help already infected systems, it severely slowed the spread of the initial infection and gave time for defensive measures to be deployed worldwide, particularly in North America and Asia, which had not been attacked to the same extent as elsewhere.

In this episode of The Private Practice Elevation Podcast, Daniel breaks down an important but often overlooked topic: why you should register your domain separately from your website builder. First, he explains the difference between a domain and web hosting in easy-to-understand terms. Think of your domain like the address of your practice online, while your web hosting is like the actual building where everything is stored. Keeping your domain registration separate from your website builder (like Squarespace or Wix) is a smart move, giving you more control over your online presence. Daniel shares why using a dedicated domain registrar, like GoDaddy or Namecheap, is better than bundling everything with your website platform. The biggest reasons? You'll have more flexibility to switch platforms when your practice grows or changes, and you'll get better security and support along the way. He also shares a real-life story about a client who ran into big problems when they needed to move their domain. Their website and email went offline for days because they had everything tied to their website builder. This could have been avoided with a simple change. By the end of the episode, you'll have a clear plan for how to set up your domain and website the right way, helping your private practice run smoothly from the start. Key Takeaways: Register your domain separately from your website builder to stay in control. It's easier to switch platforms, like moving from Squarespace to WordPress, when you use an independent domain registrar. Don't use your business email to set up your domain accounts. It's better to use a personal email so you can always access it. Companies like GoDaddy and Namecheap offer better security and support than bundling with website platforms. Real-life examples show the problems that can happen if you don't separate your domain and website accounts.
