We also have time to tackle the games we have been playing, Forspoken and Kena: Bridge of Spirits. This and TONS of content in this week's episode! Thanks for listening! Intro: Hades 6 Things: - PlayStation Plus Extra / Premium December Update - FTC Sues Microsoft Over The Activision Blizzard Purchase - PlayStation Pals Franchise Madness - Forspoken Demo - Kena: Bridge of Spirits - God of War: Ragnarok [SPOILERS 60:33 - 112:00] Outro: God of the Dead - Hades by Darren Korb Questions or comments? What was life like for you before you became pregnant? Were you pretty much the same person then as you are now, or have you changed drastically? Today we'll be speaking with Gabrielle, and precious mother who has truly been pulled from death to life. From addiction to heavy narcotics and homelessness to being pulled out and called into life through Jesus. This story is unbelievably powerful, and I'm so thrilled that Gabrielle's heart desires to share how she has been forever reborn. Outro: God makes messy things beautiful. I've seen it time and time again in my own life and in the lives of others, and how clearly was this put on display in Gabrielle's story. Gabrielle shares how she overdosed and flatlined 3 times-- died- and yet now is a whole new, reborn creation who is pointing others to her Savior. What a beautiful testimony. And next, I think it's so incredible to see how the life experiences that she's had, of dysfunction, of such severe struggle-- she's used those to change the paradigm for her own family. Gabrielle and her husband are taking their children down an entirely new path-- one that's functional and full of love and grace. And lastly, I just want to share about the beauty in Gabrielle's decision making. Despite the fact that she's off of social media and thus not being bombarded with pretty homebirth images, she prayed for discernment and knew that what she wanted for her babies was different from the conventional path. I just find it so powerful that Gabrielle trusted and obeyed and had two beautiful girls in a way that empowered her and granted her confidence in motherhood. Verse 1 God does His judgment work in the last days appearing as His incarnate self.Since it's man of corrupt flesh being judged, not Satan's spirit directly, judgment isn't done in the spiritual world, but in the world of human beings. If judgment were done by God's Spirit directly,it wouldn't be allembracing. The work would be hard for man to accept, for the Spirit can't come facetoface with man.Effects wouldn't come fast, much less could man see clearly God's unoffendable disposition.Chorus No one is better than God in the flesh for the work of judging the corruption of man's flesh.Oh,no one is better than God in the flesh for the work of judging the corruption of man's flesh.Verse 2 Satan can only be beaten if God in the flesh judges the corruption of mankind.Though having normal humanity like man,He can directly judge man's unrighteousness; this marks His innate holiness and also His extraordinariness.Only God's in the place where He can judge man,for He has the truth and righteousness. No one without them is fit to judge. If this work were done by God's Spirit,it would not mean Satan's defeat.Prechorus The Spirit's more exalted than mortal man.He is holy and triumphant over flesh. If the Spirit did the work directly,He couldn't judge all man's rebellion, nor reveal all man's evil.Chorus No one is better than God in the flesh for the work of judging the corruption of man's flesh.Oh,no one is better than God in the flesh for the work of judging the corruption of man's flesh.Bridge The judgment is done through man's notions of God,and man has no notions of the Spirit,so the Spirit can't show man's unrighteousness, much less disclose it completely.God incarnate is the foe of anyone who doesn't possess knowledge of Him.Through judging man's notions and defiance,He shows mankind's disobedience. His work in the flesh has more striking effects than those of the work of the Spirit. So judgment's not done by the Spirit directly, but is the work of God incarnate.Chorus No one is better than God in the flesh for the work of judging the corruption of man's flesh.Oh,no one is better than God in the flesh for the work of judging the corruption of man's flesh.Outro God in the flesh can be seen and touched by man.God in the flesh can completely conquer man.In his relationship with God in the flesh, man goes from defiance to obedience, from persecution to acceptance, from notions to knowledge, rejection to love. These are the effects of God incarnate's work.Adapted from The Word Appears in the Flesh
Verse 1 The function of God's judgment is to enable man to obey, the reason for chastisement is so man is effectively changed. What God does is for His management, but all that He does benefits man.Verse 2 God wishes to make all nations as obedient as Israel,to make them into real men,to gain foothold outside Israel. This is the work of His management,His work among Gentile nations.Chorus In this final era,God's name will be magnified among Gentile nations. His deeds will be seen by the Gentiles, they will call Him the Almighty on account of His deeds. His words shall come to be,they soon shall come to be.Verse 3 Still people don't understand, they don't care about God's management, and they care only about their own futures and destinations.Despite His words,His work is ignored, all are fixed on their destinations.Verse 4 If things go on in this way, then how can the work of God expand? How will His gospel spread out? You should know that when His work expands,He will scatter you and He will smite, like Jehovah smote Israel's tribes.Bridge All this is to spread His gospel through earth and to Gentile nations spread His work,so by adults and children alike,His name can be magnified,His holy name exalted by all nations and all tribes.Chorus In this final era,God's name will be magnified among Gentile nations. His deeds will be seen by the Gentiles, they will call Him the Almighty on account of His deeds. His words shall come to be,they soon shall come to be.Outro God will make people know He is God of the Israelites,He is God of all Gentiles, even the ones He's cursed. He'll let people discern He is God of creation. This is His greatest work,His purpose in last days, the only work to be fulfilled in the last days. They soon shall come to be.Adapted from The Word Appears in the Flesh
Verse 1 God's judgment in the last days is not for certain people, but to show man His disposition. Yet for various reasons, like lacking time, hectic work, His disposition has not allowed man to know Him. Pre-chorus God moves into His new plan and His final work. All who see Him will beat their breast and weep because He exists. Chorus God brings the end of mankind to the world; His disposition is laid bare before all, so all who do and do not know Him feast their eyes and see He's come to earth. It's God's plan, His sole “confession” since man's creation. Verse 2 God wishes for you to give Him your attention, full and undivided, to see His every move. For His rod once again presses close to man and to all those, all those who oppose Him, all those who oppose Him. Pre-chorus God moves into His new plan and His final work. All who see Him will beat their breast and weep because He exists. Chorus God brings the end of mankind to the world; His disposition is laid bare before all, so all who do and do not know Him feast their eyes and see He's come to earth. It's God's plan, His sole “confession,” it's God's plan, His sole “confession” since man's creation. Outro God's judgment in the last days is not for certain people, but to show man His disposition, oh, His disposition. Adapted from The Word Appears in the Flesh
Intro God moves above all men, watching everywhere. No man and no thing is as they once were. God rests upon His throne, lies 'cross the universe. This is the final outcome of God's present work. Verse 1 God's chosen ones regain their first form, the angels are freed from pain, just as God says, their countenance appears like the holy one within man's heart. Verse 2 And since the angels serve God on earth, and His glory spreads to the world, heaven's brought down to earth, and earth up to heaven. They're linked by man. Pre-chorus Heaven and earth, no longer asunder; heaven and earth, joined as one. Chorus God and man will forever be in harmony. God and man will always be in harmony, never apart, never apart. This is the beauty of the kingdom. This is the beauty of the kingdom. Bridge Throughout the world there is only man and God. Free of dirt and filth, all things are like new, just like little lambs on the fresh green grass, basking in God's grace, enjoying all they can. Verse 3 The greenness brings breath of life, for God lives with man on earth for all time. His tabernacle's in the world of men, God lives in Zion again. (It's the defeat of Satan.) Verse 4 This will be God's day of rest proclaimed and commemorated by all. His work on earth will end when He's at rest on His throne. It's this moment His mysteries are shown. Pre-chorus Heaven and earth, no longer asunder; heaven and earth, joined as one. Chorus God and man will forever be in harmony. God and man will always be in harmony, never apart, never apart. This is the beauty of the kingdom. This is the beauty of the kingdom. Outro God moves above all men, watching everywhere. No man and no thing is as they once were. Verse 1 When on earth, God is a practical God in the hearts of man. In heaven He's the Master, ruling over everything. Verse 2 He's climbed the mountains and waded through the rivers. He has drifted in and out through the place where people live. Chorus God is up in heaven, and on earth He resides. He's among all creation, amidst the myriads of mankind. Man can touch God every day, man can see Him every day. Verse 3 Who dares to oppose practical God and break out from His reign? Who dares to assert that He's in heaven, beyond the shadow of doubt? Verse 4 Who dares assert that God for certain exists on earth? In all humanity, none can say or describe where God dwells. Chorus God is up in heaven, and on earth He resides. He's among all creation, amidst the myriads of mankind. Man can touch God every day, man can see Him every day. Bridge Could it be when in heaven, He's a supernatural God? Could it be when God's on earth, He is practical God Himself? Ruling all creation or tasting human suffering, can these determine He's practical God Himself? Chorus God is up in heaven (God is in heaven), and on earth He resides (and on earth He resides). He's among all creation (all creation), amidst the myriads of mankind. Man can touch God every day (man can touch Him every day), man can see Him every day (every day). Outro God is in heaven and on earth He resides. from The Word Appears in the Flesh
Verse 1 There is no deceit in God, there is no falsity. There is only sincerity and faithfulness. Man cannot see one trace of Satan's corrupt disposition. None of its evil is revealed in God. Chorus God's essence is holy. He has none of mankind's corruption. God's essence is holy. He has nothing like man's corrupt disposition. God's essence is holy. He has none as corrupt as the essence of Satan. God's essence is holy, God is holy. Verse 2 All God does is to provide, it is done to provide for man. All He reveals is wholly helpful and beneficial. It is full of life, it gives man a road, a road to follow and a direction to take. Chorus God's essence is holy. He has none of mankind's corruption. God's essence is holy. He has nothing like man's corrupt disposition. God's essence is holy. He has none as corrupt as the essence of Satan. God's essence is holy, God is holy. Bridge Know God's holy essence. There is no corrupt disposition in God. Know God's holy essence. God's essence is wholly positive. His work on man shows it. For all His work brings are positive. Know God's holy essence. Know it from these two aspects. Chorus God's essence is holy. He has none of mankind's corruption. God's essence is holy. He has nothing like man's corrupt disposition. God's essence is holy. He has none as corrupt as the essence of Satan. God's essence is holy, God is holy. Outro God reveals no corruption, God reveals His essence. God reveals no corruption, God reveals His essence. His own essence in His work is all one needs to know that God Himself is holy. from The Word Appears in the Flesh
Verse 1 The Age of Kingdom's unlike past times. It's not concerned with what man does. For God descends, does His work Himself, work man can't conceive, accomplish. When the building of the kingdom begins, God's incarnate flesh starts His ministry. The King takes on sovereign power. The kingdom's descended to the world. Verse 2 All lie in God's love, compassion, but also His judgment, trial. He's merciful, loving to man, even when they have been corrupted. God has once meted out chastisement, even when all submit to Him. But aren't all in the very midst of suffering, refinement God's sent? Chorus When the kingdom's salute rings out, the seven thunders peal as well. It convulses heaven and earth, shaking the empyrean; man's heartstrings vibrate. An anthem to the kingdom rises in the great red dragon's nation, proving God's destroyed its nation and established His kingdom on earth. Verse 3 God is now sending His angels out to all of the world's nations to shepherd His sons and people. It helps the next step of His work. God does battle at the red dragon's lair. When people know God, see His deeds, see them from God in the flesh, the flesh, this lair will become ash, vanish. Chorus God now descends on the red dragon's place, He turns His face toward all. The firmament, the firmament shakes. Is any place free from God's judgment, or free from disasters He rains down? God sows seeds of disaster wherever He goes. It's an act of salvation, of love for man. Outro God wishes to make even more people come to know and see Him, thus revere this God who was beyond their sight all those years, but who's so real today. from The Word Appears in the Flesh
I wrote this song titled "Here" at one of my darkest times. The thoughts of my sins surrounded me like mountains. I felt that I disappointed God one too many times, and that God didn't love me or want to be around me. I knew those thoughts weren't biblically true but I couldn't see past how I felt. My sincerest prayers felt like really good lies at best. Irritated at the sound of my own voice, I wrote this song; expressing how I felt, asking for His help, and declaring the beautiful truths of His love and faithfulness. God never wants you to feel unloved, this is why He poured his love in our heart (Romans 5:5). He wants you to feel - to experience His love in your very heart. This song is a fight for that feeling. Lyrics : God right here,God right now.I seek your face,Its my darkest hour.I can feel all my sins.I cant bear the guilt,or the shame in my heart.Help me be still.[Chorus]Help me stay right hereHelp me stay right here Pour out your Spirit Hold me close [Verse]Remind me Godof your promisesyour faithfulness to forgive [Chorus]Christ has won it on the crossNo more sin.The veil has been tornI enter in [Chorus]And I’ll stay right hereI will stay right here And bask in your loveIt's always enough[Bridge]I feel your love within my heart x2Ever Faithful [call and response] (Reprise) Ever Present [call and response] (Reprise)Thank you Jesus [call and response][Chorus]I am free from guiltI am free from shameThe victory is minein Jesus name x2[Outro]God right here,God right now.Your will is doneI feel freedom now.
