Beginning her career in her native Ukraine, she's since called Eqypt and Dubai home, playing at some of the hottest bars and clubs across the Middle East. After conquering the local scene in Kiev, she took her headphones and her encyclopedic record collection to Eqypt, where she headed up the Terrazzina Beach Club, alongside regular slots at hedonistic joints Hed Kandi and Pacha in Sharm-el-Shekih. A: I think the tracks are showing really good why I’m doing a certain kind of electronic music today. When I started producing my own tracks in 2010 I was really into Progressive House (Deadmau5, Pryda, …). It’s funny that this genre-name disappeared some years from the scene cause it was somehow connected to EDM. Later on I was more focussed on groovy deep and Tech House. Now you find all of these elements in my tracks. A mixture between Progressive and dreamy Techno but always groovy. Q: When talking about Einmusika Recordings most of the people only see Einmusik behind. But one of the most important guys behind is you. Tell us about your job. A: When I first started working at Einmusika they we’re looking for someone who can help out two times a week to do some basic webdesign and photoshop. But I noticed really fast that there are many more things to do. So I grew with my tasks and learned a lot about how the music industry works. Now Einmusika has become my main job and I’m doing a big part of the daily business there. I’m really grateful to work with such a creative team. Q: Which Kempnich projects are coming soon? A: I recently released an EP on EIN2 together with Allies For Everyone from New York and I’m working on a new Einmusika EP which is coming out in the beginning of next year. I changed a lot in my studio so you will definitely here a big difference to my previous ones. Furthermore I worked out my live-set because I like to perform it soon at some selected venues.
