Viel Spaß Kurt Kjergaard Hello friends I wish you all a Merry Christmas... I am very happy to present you a new episode of my Indie Dance The Mix Series for Christmas Eve. Look forward to a set from Dj & Producer Marc DePulse from Leibzig,Germany. Enjoy it Kurt Kjergaard Marc DePulse (JEAHMON! / Diynamic/ Exe Audio) Leipzig/Germany based artist Marcel Sterling alias Marc DePulse is taking Electronic Music into a new level with the experience of 25 years in the business. Starting to produce his own music in the 1990s Marc went through a long journey to develop his signature sound with his typical handscript. Whoever shed some tears while listening to music can relate to what Marc is trying to achieve. It has to be “music to remember” and make a big impact. And that could be a catching melody, a guitar bassline, rolling percussions or strong vocals. DePulse has already connected a lot of that love with his music. Either the music is for the dancefloor or for the heart. And that's what Marc wants to tell us with his releases and podcasts: there is no box into which you must fit in because you are free in your mind to do whatever you love. Being real, being authentic, being a full time music lover. That means: go to bed and wake up with only music in your head. Marc has established as a unique DJ by performing on the biggest international stages, DJing in over 40 countries worldwide. His productions lead him to be the best selling artist in Indie Dance music (Top #1 artist on Beatport in 2023). After appearances on major labels such as Diynamic, Einmusika, Katermukke, SINCOPAT or Parquet (in total over 500+ releases in the past 2 decades) Marc was releasing his third artist album "Together Alone" on Katermukke in 2022. In addition to his own productions, Marc is running the hyped imprint JEAHMON! Records and also invites his favorite artists and friends on his platform “How I Met The Bass” which is a storyteller project that became a big brand over the last decade. In Melbourne the names of Jacob Malmo and Tom Evans are well known as solo artists. Together, they have carved a niche for themselves as The Journey, a name synonymous with sturdy progressive. It's a sound that's been forged with their combined 20 years plus of dance music experience - and one that's gaining traction internationally. Alongside multiple European tours, they have graced stages at iconic festivals like Rainbow Serpent, Pitch Music & Arts, Subsonic, and Strawberry Fields. Labels from Monaberry to Stil Vor Talent to Einmusika have signed their music and they've collaborated with artists including Bebetta, Tim Engelhardt, and Florian Kruse. Their name is an apt one too: a Journey set can take exciting turns which never feels forced. On this almost two hour set they deliver on that sentiment with an adventurous sound that is minimal in aesthetic yet maximal in impact. With tracks and remixes from Sébastien Léger, UNKLE, Tim Engelhardt, Guy Gerber and more, this one deserves your full attention. @thejourneymusicaus

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series! On this edition we welcome Allies for Everyone (@allies) Embarking on a musical odyssey that began in the vibrant streets of NYC, Allies For Everyone emerged as the brainchild of the talented Brian Suarez. The genesis of his musical journey traces back to the humble beginnings of piano lessons and the audacious act of liberating his uncle's prized new wave cassettes and house records. Under the guise of his first electronic music incarnation, Gater, Brian soared to international acclaim with the electrifying electro-pop sensation, "Taboo," a track that resonated across the globe. Diving headfirst into the expansive realm of electronic music, Allies For Everyone's sonic creations found a home on esteemed labels such as 3000Grad, Dantze, and Einmusika. His productions transcend boundaries, seamlessly navigating through diverse sub-genres of electronic soundscapes. The year 2022 marked a pivotal moment for Allies For Everyone, as he unleashed his debut album, leaving an indelible mark on the musical landscape. The album soared to the zenith of charts in deep house, progressive house, electronica, indie dance, melodic house, techno, and downtempo, showcasing the artist's versatility and mastery across genres. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did! Follow Allies for Everyone here: https://soundcloud.com/allies https://www.instagram.com/alliesforeveryone https://alliesforeveryone.com
Dave Seaman - YoHo (incl. James Harcourt Remix) - Selador Support from Eelke Kleijn, Paul Van Dyk, M.A.N.D.Y., AFFKT, Anthony Pappa, Danny Howells, Nicole Moudaber, Hernan Cattaneo, Luke Brancaccio, Timo Maas, Aikon, Tim Engelhardt, Just Her The Boss is back in town, and how. On a roll…in the ascendancy…top of the current form table…all epithets that could be applied to Dave and his stellar output in recent months, be it solo or in tandem with Quivver; on Selador, or with our friends at labels such as Sum Over Histories, Mobilee, Einmusika and Poker Flat. And so to YoHo. It might sound like a new brand of pro-biotic yoghurt, or a vodka mixer… or even, as in our case, conjure up visions of piratical shenanigans. Be warned however, this particular sonic shanty, will provide all the treasure you'll need for your own desert island disco. The Original mix is textbook Dave, growing bigger and broodier with each newly introduced motif. The post-breakdown conclusion a squelching and menacing fusion of Bauhaus meets DJ Pierre proportions. The Teutonic Dub then strips things back to bass-ics, an intoxicating brew that nods to the original Prog sound circa 1991 while sounding every bit as 2024 as a Tory MP abadoning ship. Our triumphant triptych is completed by one of our favourite Seladorians, Mr James Harcourt. In a move too seldom seen, James does much more than just nod to the vibe of Dave's originals, but equally his scattergun riffage and gorgeous keys take the tune to a euphoric elsewhere. So much so, it was the version Dave & Quivver chose for inclusion on their upcoming Balance Mix compilation album. Ooh ahhh.. Shiver mi timbers! Team Selador – YoHo ho and a bottle of your finest.

Hailing from Hungary, Peter Makto has been involved with dance music for over twenty years. His self-described rebellious spirit deeply resonates with the creative freedom that electronic music offers. It serves as a conduit for his self-expression, and as hinted in his Balance Q+A, it's an approach he ties to a deeply spiritual foundation: “I believe in fate and in the laws of the universe always prevailing.” This is the energy he injects into Truesounds Music and Zenebona Records, two record labels focusing on deep, organic dance music. These labels go hand-in-hand with his releases on labels like The Soundgarden and Einmusika, with many more on the horizon. For this 90-minute Balance mix, Peter lays out 16 tracks guaranteed to stimulate states of inspiration and physical movement.

And you thought we were going to stop at three? No siree, not us, always gluttons for punishing ourselves with only the Toppermost Tuneage™. So, we had a little summer break from the Decade EPs, which enabled us to release some other humdingers. Now like D-Mob we're back with a vengeance, and it's time for tracks 12-15 in Selador's birthday-celebrating Crate of Colossal Collabs™. 4 more tracks, 8 more artists, and we could easily subtitle this instalment Face Melters R Us™, as purely by coincidence, each dream team was clearly in Peak Time Banger™ mode. So without any further palaver, here's the Tunes to Make You Go Hmmmm™. Quivver & Dave Seaman: 'Rapid Unscheduled Assembly' Long time mates and mutual admirers, Dave and Quivver have collaborated on releases for Mobilee, Poker Flat, Einmusika & Controlled Substance over recent months and we're chuffed to bits their fifth Certified Floorfiller™ is right here, right now. Oona Dahl & Doc Martin: 'Soul on Fire (dub)' Getting our old mucker Doc on the Decade series and a label debut for Oona Dahl were both high on the wish list. The two of them together produce the expected fireworks, and this thus drops straight in the basket marked Wish Fufilment Overload™. Magit Cacoon & Lonya: 'Quantum' Another debutant / previous Seladorian combo, and we're proud to have the one and only Magit Cacoon add Selador to the enviable list of labels she has worked with, alongside another special talent in The Vanguard of Clubland™, our good chum Lonya. Murat Uncuoglu & Igor Bartyuk: 'Laurel' The man like Murat graces Selador for no less than the fifth time, teaming up with the masterful Igor Bartyuk, who has been making serious waves, most notably on the Surrealism imprint. Two minds working as one, clearly Together In Electronica Dreams™. Team Selador – House, Techno & All Flavours Inbetween™

Following a run of superb releases for the label alongside semi-regular studio partner Anthony Pappa, long-time Seladorian foot soldier, Jamie Stevens now returns to the front line, this time flying solo with a double headed beast of a release. The man from down under is more widely decorated than most, notching up affiliations with the likes of Bedrock, Lost & Found, Einmusika and All Day I Dream across his long and illustrious career and now hits double digits for our own humble imprint. ‘Giovani' opens the batting, a muscular, peak time, no-nonsense affair that will no doubt set many a dance floor alight this summer with its infectious, boundless energy. In its slipstream, ‘Seeds' plays the wingman role to perfection. Slightly more subtle in its approach but in no way less impressive, it weaves a seductive spell, skilfully luring you into submission. A consummate craftsman at work. Sir Jamie of Melbourneshire, we salute you. Team Selador - Keepers of the faith. x

Hallo Freunde heute gibt es einen neuen Teil meiner KK PRESENTS Reihe... diesmal präsentiere ich euch Ron Flatter aus Berlin, Germany Viel Spaß mit seinem Mix... Hello friends today there is a new part of my KK PRESENTS series... this time I present you Ron Flatter from Berlin,Germany Enjoy his mix... BIO: Warm, groovy tech house paired with well selected melodic elements - that's Ron Flatter's recipe for an energetic mix on the dance floor: No matter if it's warm up, peak time or closing. You can feel his irresistible energy on stage and also throughout all of his plentiful productions. In the last decades his passion for electronic music led the German DJ and producer Ron Flatter all around the world. Ron's unique sound design and melodies thrilled fans everywhere on the planet. In Brazil, Japan, Russia, Indonesia and many other countries he was able to captivate the audience with his sets. The crowd in legendary clubs such as Berlin's Tresor, Kater Blau or Sisyphos regularly enjoys Ron's energy and unmistakably groovy sound. Because of his long touring history Ron can look back on many magnificent memories. One huge highlight for him are his Lebanon shows - the energy of the people always gives Ron goose bumps. Ron's many years of touring have also brought curious unique moments with them - like a gig at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao when he played between van Gogh and Picasso. There are also wonderful memories from festivals like Fusion or Feel Festival - events known for their magical atmosphere. However, Ron's energy is not only reflected in his gigs, but also in the studio. In 2003 he released his first record ‘Playmate' on Hi-Fi Records - the beginning of a long journey. In 2008 his first milestone as a music producer followed: a release on the legendary label Boxer Sport. One year later Ron founded his own imprint Pour La Vie Records. This label also became the home of his first album 'Growth Rings' in 2011. 2013 was the year of Ron's first hit release on the legendary Cologne-based label Traum Schallplatten, 'Mantequilla'. His first EP on the Berlin label Stil Vor Talent followed. In 2018 Ron released his second album 'Muscle Of Synths', again on Pour La Vie Records. Numerous singles and EPs followed on well-known imprints like Einmusika, Katermukke, Hive Audio, Parquet Rec., Motek, Style Records, Definition Records, Beat Boutique or Ritter Butzke Studio. For the future we can expect a lot from Ron: releases on Eleatics, Pour La Vie Rec., many remixes and even a third album are already in the pipeline. ►Check out our fanlink.to/Y0UTUBE for your audiovisual experience◄ Adrian Flavor and Samy Jackson aka Animal Trainer present the next fantastic summer refresher exclusively here on Schirmchendrink: the Mezcal Mule! The dynamic duo has become one of the hottest properties on the international circuit and represent the epitome of what Switzerland's new generation of electronic artists has to offer. Raised in a city with arguably the strongest club scene in Switzerland, Zurich, Animal Trainer made their name through a series of parties called ‘Rakete', which still take place at the infamous Hive club. In 2008 Animal Trainer dropped their first release, ‘Talkshow', which was followed by releases with some of the industry's most influential labels; Defected, Poker Flat, mobilee, Einmusika, Katermukke and their own highly-regarded Hive Audio label among them. 2013 saw the release of Adrian and Samy's debut full-length album, titled ‘Wide'. Spread across 13 tracks, the LP demonstrated their maturity as artists, focusing on the dance floor, but also incorporating down-tempo cuts and collaborations with vocalists such as Jan Blomqvist and Jimi Jules. It was a resounding success, with widespread praise and leading publications such as Groove Magazine and Data Transmission weighing in with glowing reviews. With each new release Animal Trainer push the boundaries of their sound, introducing subtle nuances, unforgettable hooks, emotive rhythms or enchanting melodies while retaining their own individual groove to keep the dance floor bubbling. In the years since their first release Animal Trainer have maintained a constant focus on high quality club music, staying relevant when others have followed the hype, and evolving into a force to be reckoned with. They are party boys who take their music very seriously, but are never serious themselves – it's a winning combination that has kept them one step ahead and on a constant upwards trajectory. Whatever they do next you can be sure that it will be something special...so is this Mezcal Mule, by the way. Another round, please! Cheers The bartenders Animal Trainer @animaltrainer www.facebook.com/animaltrainermusic www.instagram.com/animaltrainerzh Schirmchendrink @schirmchendrink www.facebook.com/schirmchendrink www.instagram.com/schirmchendrink
Today I'm joined by DJ, producer and multimedia artist Rashid Ajami. Now Rashid has been releasing music for well over a decade on the likes of Armada, Anjunadeep, Get Physical and Einmusika to name a few, but the road to releasing on these top labels was far from plain sailing… Like most producers, Rashid has had to deal with his own fair share of rejection, creative blocks and harsh self-criticism. But in this episode, Rashid reveals what it took to come out more prolific and more creative than ever... In this episode you'll learn: The importance of having an artistic concept in order to guide your creative output Why consistently finishing music has got to be at the core of your success, no matter how far along the journey you are. How to get signed and get your music heard on those big labels. How to handle the inevitable rejections that come with being a creative. And I've got a challenge for you: try to walk away from this episode without feeling super pumped to get into the studio and make music…I bet you can't do it!Now let's get stuck into this hugely motivating and inspiring session with Rashid Ajami.

Sweet Desire is the best cocktail Jelle ever had. Jelle is the name behind the Dutch electronica project Huminal and we are super happy that he let's us taste this sensational sip with a perfect balance between sweet and sour, or deep and melodic respectively. Jelle Jansen has created something truly unique through it’s Huminal soubriquet. With an ability to transform listeners into another world with his aural artwork – mixing organic, analogue sounds and crisp rhythmic forms on a vivid sonic palette – he consistently produces dynamic and inspiring works that have lit up electronic music. His techno, progressive house and electronica heritage is reflected in the distinctive melodies that infuse his work with trademark elegance and air. Influenced by cinematic film scores entwined with a signature sound design, Huminal takes listeners on a voyage of discovery through rich and vivid soundscapes. A sought-after sound thus finds a rapidly growing portfolio featuring on the catalogues of some of the best modern imprints: from Einmusika and Sudbeat to Ton Töpferei and Traum. His most recent ️'Restless Desire' EP is out now on Einmusika, more to come very soon! Cheers! The bartenders Link Up! Barcelona/Berlin soundclash alert! Two of our favourite cities, both electronic music epicentres, are front and centre as SEL133 drives into town with Squire at the wheel and Hannes Bieger on co-pilot duty. Regular holidays to Ibiza as a teenager inspired Squire’s (aka Jaime Algersuari) love of house and techno and so began his pursuit of a life behind the decks. Such was his passion, he actually chose music over a highly promising career as a Formula 1 driver and F1’s loss proved clubland’s gain as Jaime has blossomed into a highly sought-after producer with releases across labels such as Mobilee, Einmusika and Get Physical. In pole position here, ’True Religion’ leads from the front showcasing Squire’s trademark sound: Deep, hook-laden synth riffs and indie vocal stylings riding a growling bassline, menacing and uplifting in equal measure, entirely befitting of this most welcome of Selador debuts. Also gracing the label for the first time, we are delighted to welcome Hannes Bieger aboard. Having carved a niche as one of Europe’s most in-demand mixing engineers, recent years have seen Hannes releasing his own productions for the likes of Bedrock and Poker Flat, and the fabulous ‘Poem For The Planet’ on Awesome Soundwave. His ‘True Religion’ re-work is another perfect specimen of a master craftsman at work. The release is then crowned by another superb original work from Squire. ‘Glowing’ is another call to the floor helmed by what we reckon is one of the most memorable synth lines of the year to date. Step on it! Selador Recordings: Top gear x
