We waded through the murky waters of the straight to DVD rack to bring you two sequels you maybe never knew about or just plain avoided. Me and Mikey decided that we would look at these films from a different perspective and ask ourselves, Did these need to be made, and were they really all that bad? Spoiler alert: they sorta were but we had fun! ---Get OVER 50 BONUS episodes on 90s TV and culture (Freaks & Geeks, My So Called Life, Buffy, 90s documentaries, and more...) and to support the show, join the PATREON for $5 a month! www.patreon.com/fashiongrungeGIVE US A 5 STAR RATING & SUBSCRIBE!Hosts: Lauren @lauren_melanie & Mikey @agentmikey007 Music by Den-Mate @imdenmateFollow Fashion Grunge Podcast Instagram @fashiongrungepodTwitter @fgrungepodLetterboxd Fashion Grunge PodcastTikTok @fashiongrungepod
On this week's show, we're wrapping up our month of DTV Hell with the unrelentingly awful American Psycho 2: All American Girl. What's with the constant narration? Why is the only restaurant in this town located inside a care home? How come everyone's hot for Shatner? And who the hell thought they could pass this off as an American Psycho sequel? All this, plus our favourite cereals and we pitch the movie to Christian Bale himself! American Psycho 2: All American Girl is directed by Morgan J. Freeman, and stars Mila Kunis, William Shatner, Lindy Booth, Geraint Wyn Davies, Robin Dunne and Kim Schraner. Bad With Numbers is a weekly show about questionable movie sequels, all the way from Toronto, Canada. It's hosted by Neth Knowles, Laura Medeiros, Rodey Gozum and Megan Swaine. Robin Dunne is a popular actor, director, and screenwriter who's got a lot of stories to tell. Sci-fi fans first fell in love with Robin on Sanctuary, where he played Dr. Will Zimmerman, a forensic psychiatrist who is recruited by Amanda Tapping's Dr. Helen Magnus to work for the mysterious Sanctuary Network. Robin wrote and directed A.R.C.H.I.E. and its sequel, A.R.C.H.I.E. 2, which featured Michael J. Fox voicing a robot dog, and he directed, co-wrote, and co-starred in Welcome to Nowhere – the same movie where he and actress-photographer Farrah Aviva got married between takes. Recently, Robin's been racking up acting credits in the rom-com sphere, and he reunited with one of Sanctuary's showrunners, Damian Kindler, for October Faction, playing a hapless deputy named Woody Markham. In this wildly entertaining episode of the YVR Screen Scene Podcast, Robin talks about directing Michael J. Fox, getting married on the set of Welcome to Nowhere, and being The Edge to Amanda Tapping's Bono. Episode sponsor: Almiro Studios' ‘Foreign AF' web series.

Fox.We also chatted a little more about 'Rattletrap', which is Robin's first foray into the world of writing comic books. The comic currently has a campaign on Kickstarter and looks like it could reach its goal. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
