Abi bija lieli mūzikas un teātra cienītāji. Ar viņu gādību 1784. gadā starp ostas spīķeriem tika ierīkots pirmais komēdijnams, kurā notikuši gan koncerti, gan teātra izrādes. Mūzikas dzīves atbalstītājs bija arī vēlākais pilsētas galva Kārlis Gotlībs Ūlihs, kurš 1820. gadā ieradās Liepājā. Nu tolaik gandrīz ikviens inteliģents cilvēks pārvaldīja vismaz vienu instrumentu, un Ūliham tā bija flauta. Nez, kuru instrumentu spēlē Liepājas šībrīža mērs Gunārs Ansiņš? Liepāja tolaik bija ievērojams kūrorts un vasarā to apmeklēja ap 2000 peldviesu. Tad arī līdzās dažādām ārstnieciskām procedūrām un peldēm bija iespēja baudīt labu mūziku. Kūrmājā bija lieliska koncertzāle ar 500 vietām, grezns restorāns un dārza estrāde. Tur muzicēja pilsētas labākās kapelas, ko vadīja Ernsts Klāzings un Vilhelms Nordmanis. 1876. gadā, tām apvienojoties, tika atskaņota Ludviga van Bēthovena Otrā simfonija. Izcila loma filharmonijas attīstībā bija Hansam Hohapfelam, kurš Liepājā ieradās 1893. gada decembrī. Tolaik 22 gadus jaunais, labi izglītotais mūziķis tika apstiprināts Liepājas filharmonijas direktora amatā. Vedení České televize ustupuje vládě, aby zmírnilo dopad plánovaného rušení koncesionářských poplatků. Chystá omezení pořadů i propouštění. „Je to kontraproduktivní a nůž do zad,“ říká investigativní reportér Jan Moláček. Management ČT v čele s generálním ředitelem Hynkem Chudárkem přišel s tím, že televize v příštím roce ušetří 350 milionů korun (letos hospodaří s rozpočtem 8,5 miliardy). Úspory mají jít napříč televizí, ve zpravodajství znamenají propuštění zhruba tří desítek lidí a omezení některých pořadů. Třeba z týdeníku Newsroom ČT24, který často kritizoval Andrej Babiš, se nově stane měsíčník. „Přicházet s nabídkou, že ušetříme 350 milionů, a myslet si, že to vládě bude stačit a nechá nás na pokoji, což je evidentně strategie vedení České televize, nepovažujeme za správné. My si myslíme, že se stane to, že Andrej Babiš za půl roku přijde, vyšle svého emisara nebo zatelefonuje Hynku Chudárkovi a řekne mu: ‚Pane řediteli, loni jste říkal, že to nejde, a nakonec jste našel 350 milionů. Tak kolik najdete letos? Jestli chcete zůstat ve funkci, tak by to mělo být aspoň zase těch 350 milionů,‘“ kritizuje v nejnovějším díle podcastu Mediální cirkus kroky vedení televize novinář Jan Moláček, člen redakce Reportéři ČT. Vedení ČT nedělá dost Vláda Andreje Babiše (ANO) si zrušení koncesionářských poplatků a financování České televize a Českého rozhlasu vzala jako svoji prioritu. Oběma médiím chce v rámci změn také snížit příjmy. A to na úroveň roku 2024, tedy před zvýšením poplatků, které prosadil předchozí kabinet Petra Fialy (ODS). „Teď je prvořadou povinností všech, kdo ve veřejnoprávních médiích pracujeme, aby krize nepřišla. A vedení České televize pro to nedělá dost, pokud pro to vůbec něco dělá. Já si myslím, že pro to nedělá nic, že se soustředí jen na peníze. Nezávislost už v podstatě nechalo plavat a snaží se s politiky dohodnout jenom na tom, aby televizi nechali co největší sumu peněz. Ale to je naprosto špatný postup,“ říká v Mediálním cirkusu Moláček, který se stal jedním z nejhlasitějších zástupců ČT, kteří se brání rušení poplatků a chtějí i stávkovat. Zrušení poplatků vláda slibovala od ledna 2027. To už ale nestihne. V létě kabinet stáhl návrh zákona z dílny ministra kultury Oto Klempíře (Motoristé sobě), který zasypala kritika ze všech stran. Nový a stručnější návrh chtěla koalice ve Sněmovně řešit teď v září, nakonec ale kvůli volbám posunula termín nejdříve na říjen. „To je známka, řekněme, určité nervozity nebo nejistoty. Andrej Babiš ví, že budou protesty, ví, že bude odpor, a ví, že ten odpor se může obrátit proti němu. A ten se obrátí proti němu, i když to bude po volbách,“ glosuje situaci Moláček. I když má vláda na prosazení změn ve Sněmovně silnou většinu, schválení nebude jednoduché kvůli avizovaným obstrukcím opozice, ale i očekávaným protestům. „Vojenská teorie říká, že když se bráníte, tak nemusíte být silnější než útočník, ale stačí, když jste tak silní, aby on věděl, že tím útokem ztratí víc, než získá. A já si myslím, že tuto sílu občanská společnost a ti, kterým záleží na demokracii a svobodných médiích v České republice, mají. A že Andrej Babiš skutečně velmi pečlivě zvažuje, co tímto ústupkem Tomio Okamurovi, protože je to především Tomio Okamura, kdo chce veřejnoprávní média ovládnout, může získat a co může ztratit,“ upozorňuje Moláček. Obyčajnou prechádzkou v lese tak môžete pomôcť vedeckej komunite.Hostka Zuzana Stožická, veľvyslankyňa občianskej vedy na Slovensku, v rozhovore vysvetľuje princípy otvorenej a občianskej vedy. Otvorená veda zastrešuje postupy, ktoré zvyšujú dostupnosť a overiteľnosť vedeckých výsledkov, dát, metód či softvérových nástrojov pre každého, kto by ich mohol potrebovať. V rozhovore si priblížime budapeštiansku iniciatívu aj to, prečo sa otvorenej vedy dotýkame oveľa častejšie, než si myslíme, napríklad aj vtedy, keď sa študent zadarmo dopracuje k odborným článkom do svojej bakalárskej alebo diplomovej práce. Princípom občianskej vedy je zapájanie verejnosti do výskumu, teda rozširovanie skupiny ľudí, ktorí sa môžu chytiť vedeckých metód a prispieť k bádaniu.Na Slovensku majú najväčšie zastúpenie projekty z oblasti biológie, biodiverzity a životného prostredia. Verejnosť obľubuje projekt Vážky Slovensko, Motýlia polhodinka či Vtáčia hodinka. Vo svete, napríklad v Spojenom kráľovstve či vo Francúzsku, je zapájanie sa do obdobných projektov tradíciou. Ľudia sa s chuťou venujú chémii, histórii, astronómii alebo geografii. Podieľala sa na tvorbe Národnej stratégie pre otvorenú vedu (2021 – 2028). Vyštudovala biológiu na Prírodovedeckej fakulte Univerzity Komenského v Bratislave.
