The quake caused everyone to fall down into the sea caves and the damsels are separated and some gravely wounded. Another strange thing... people who should be dead aren't dying...But the Damsels cannot and will not say no to helping the injured animals get to safety. Time to rescue Peanutbutter the horse The Damsels begin to collect the survivors from the earthquake and the fall. They find Castle staff and members of the royal family while searching. Ciara uses her familiar to search for the other team members.Elly takes her opportunity to tease Van, Ari's uncle for his choices in animal transformation. LOL A long time pet peeve of his. Ciara gets to endure the awkward reunion of Arteus and his estranged mother. Ari gets terrible news of her Aunt being mortally wounded. Luna finally gets a lead to help her in her upcoming trial, a Doctor named Taeo has offered to examine her for his studies for lycanthropy. She consents and has to endure a harrowing mental experiment. The damsels finally have a moment go looking for their belongings amid the wreckage. Kenaris shows up with his mother in tow, much to Elly's pleasant surprise. Ciara's hitchhiker makes an appearance and takes a particular interest in the box Lucious/Rian left in their care. Oculus reports that he can smell "Cormac" one of Ciara's old friends. Shocked, Ciara looks around and runs into a very violent surprise. In this episode of the AAC podcast, we have adventure writer Cassidy Randall on to talk about her new book, "Thirty Below." Thirty Below is the gripping story of the Denali Damsels–a group of female adventurers who achieved the first all-women's ascent of Denali, also known as Mt. McKinley, the tallest peak in North America. Everyone told the “Denali Damsels,” that it couldn't be done, that women were incapable of climbing mountains on their own. It was 1970. Men had walked on the moon; but women still had not stood on the highest points on Earth. But these six women were unwilling to be limited. They pushed past barriers in society at large, the climbing world, and their own bodies. Following vibrant mountaineers with a lot of personality, like the stubborn Grace Hoemann and the brilliant chemist Arlene Blum, this book tells a rich tale of a community's set of limiting beliefs, and the women who dared to prove them wrong, despite disaster and risk on the expedition. In the episode, Cassidy and the AAC dive into some of the experiences of these women that pushed them to achieve more and more in their mountaineering careers, the challenges of archival research, and capturing a climbing story that is too often forgotten.

Welcome! We're just a bunch strong women (Plus Michael) who enjoy acting and female-centric content. Our D&D 5e campaign is a slow boil with focus on NPC and PC relations and politics (don't worry, we have battles too.) Ellie (Druid) and Kenaris (shapeshifter) go on a dog date! Luna is wandering the halls of Castle Zin'Drake when she runs into a suspicious Arcanic woman, with a TON of cats. Luna inquires who she is and gets a surprising turn of events. Ari and the ever handsome ~Gaius~ are out in the woods on the castle grounds when they're interrupted by one of Ari's officially endeared suitors. That's not awkward at all. Ellie and Kenaris' Doggy date continues as Kenaris lead's Ellie to a restaurant specifically made for dogs. They walk in and are seated at low tables and have floor pillows. A halfling comes out and begins to play for the dogs to listen to. (Naturally Ellie and Kenaris order Spaghetti and meatballs. ) Ari listens in to a conversation between her mother and her elder brother. They discuss Ari's future. AAaaaaaaaaaaand Ari does not want to think about that! Luna calls up Geleach and they catch up on news from Virkis. The Damsels are now in an official meeting. One to discuss how they are going to save Adlanna(Friend) in Borogavar (Different plane). Turns out Borogavar is basically the nine hells and the damsels need to go there to extract Adlanna. There's also a strong possibility that Breotracht wants Ciara to go there, given her past vison. Ari is committed to go but has to convince her brother that the nine hells is totally a safe place for her to go to as a pampered princess. Ciara has a lot to say on the matter but as usual... keeps it ALLLLl to herself.
