Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 3 Text 41 bhinnābhinnair mahā-siddhaiḥ sūkṣmaiḥ sūryam ivāṁśubhiḥ vṛtaṁ bhaktair ivālokya kadāpi prīyate manaḥ TRANSLATION Sometimes my mind felt special pleasure in beholding Him surrounded by the great perfected beings who were His devotees, at once different and nondifferent from Him. They surrounded Him in subtle spiritual forms, like beams of light around the sun.
This Christmas, we're drawn into the story of the shepherds in Luke 2—ordinary people invited into an extraordinary moment. From fields to a manger, their journey reveals a powerful rhythm of faith: walking to Jesus, walking with Jesus, and walking for Jesus. Jesus meets us in messy places. Born in a manger, surrounded by dirt and noise, He stepped right into our broken world. And in that first Christmas moment, shepherds, kings, and a young couple stood side by side—reminding us that the grace of God is for everyone, no matter the background or story. Walking may be slow, but God chooses presence over speed. He invites us to journey with Him, not rush ahead. When we're tired, hurting, or tempted to give up, the call is simple: get up and keep walking—filled with faith, hope, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Because true hope isn't found in quick fixes, but in the eternal God who meets us on the journey and fills our lives with joy and peace.

Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Texts 223-224 bhavāṁs tu yadi mokṣasya tucchatvānubhavena hi viśuddha-bhagavad-bhakti- niṣṭhā-sampattim icchati tadā nijaṁ mahā-mantraṁ tam eva bhajatāṁ param atrāpīdaṁ mahā-gūḍhaṁ śṛṇotu hṛdayaṅ-gamam TRANSLATION If you have indeed realized the pettiness of liberation and want to attain the treasure of firm faith in pure devotional service to the Lord, then simply worship your transcendental mantra. And please hear this great secret, which is pleasing to the heart:
Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Text 218 sadaika-rūpo 'pi sa viṣṇur ātmanas tathā sva-bhakter janayaty anu-kṣaṇam vicitra-mādhurya-śataṁ navaṁ navaṁ tayā sva-śaktyetara-durvitarkyayā TRANSLATION Although Lord Viṣṇu is always one and unchanging, at every moment He brings forth hundreds of newer and newer varieties of transcendental charm, both in Himself and in His devotional service. He does this by His personal energy, inconceivable to everyone else.
Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Text 217 sadaika-rūpaṁ bahu-rūpam adbhutaṁ vimukti-saukhyāt pratiyogi tat sukham harer mahā-bhakti-vilāsa-mādhurī- bharātmakaṁ tarkyam atad-vidāṁ na hi TRANSLATION That extraordinary happiness is always one, yet it assumes many features. It stands in contrast to the happiness of impersonal liberation. Devotional happiness is made of the intense sweetness of sporting pastimes in the highest devotional service to the Lord. Persons unfamiliar with this pleasure cannot even imagine what it is like.
Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Text 215 paraṁ samādhau sukham ekam asphuṭaṁ vṛtter abhāvān manaso na cātatam vṛttau sphurad vastu tad eva bhāsate 'dhikaṁ yathaiva sphaṭikācale mahaḥ TRANSLATION The happiness felt in impersonal samādhi is plain, isolated, vague, and limited because in that samādhi the functions of the mind have ceased. But when the object of meditation appears in the active mind, that object is more vividly manifest, like sunlight reflected on a crystal mountain.
Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Text 209 avāntara-phalaṁ bhakter eva mokṣādi yady api tathāpi nātmārāmatvaṁ grāhyaṁ prema-virodhi yat TRANSLATION Even though liberation and its effects are natural by-products of devotional service, devotees do not regard satisfaction in the self as worth taking, for it obstructs pure love of God.
Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Text 207 muktāś cāsya tayā śaktyā sac-cid-ānanda-dehitām prāpitās te bhajante taṁ tādṛśaiḥ karaṇair harim TRANSLATION The Lord's personal energy grants those liberated souls spiritual bodies of eternity, knowledge, and bliss. And with the spiritual senses thus acquired, those souls worship Lord Hari.
Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Text 193 tat sukhaṁ vardhate 'bhīkṣṇam anantaṁ paramaṁ mahat na tu brahma-sukhaṁ muktau vardhate sīmavad yataḥ TRANSLATION That happiness increases endlessly. We finally had some clarity at both ends of the table in J1 Matchday 36, as the title race is down to just two teams, and at the bottom, Yokohama FC's relegation to J2 was confirmed. In Part 1 of this episode, Kyoto correspondent Jamie Meikle guests to help us celebrate Sanga's remarkable season, even though their title hopes ended on Sunday at home against Yokohama F.Marinos. We ask Jamie about Kyoto's 2025 Player of the Year, the future of Manager Cho Kwi Jae, and where the club can strengthen in the offseason (to 28:27). Then in Part 2 Jonny and Ben round up the wins for Kashima and Kashiwa that left them as the last two teams standing in title contention, and work their way through the rest of the games, before finishing with a check on the national team squad and a look ahead to the Emperor's Cup semi finals.

But we shall explain it to you because your abundant good qualities inspire us to speak freely.
Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Text 166 tato mahā-purāṇānāṁ mahopaniṣadāṁ tathā mādhya-sthyād āgamānāṁ tu jayo jāto mama priyaḥ TRANSLATION Then the major Purāṇas and Upaniṣads became arbitrators, and so victory went to the Āgamas. That pleased me very much.
Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Text 146 ittham ahnāṁ katipaye prayāte prātar ekadā kautukād brahmaṇā spṛṣṭaḥ pheṇa-puñjo 'suro 'bhavat TRANSLATION After I had spent some days in this way, early one morning, out of curiosity, Brahmā touched a mass of foam, and it turned into a demon.

Be steady and joyful.
Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Text 132 saṁvāhyamāna-caraṇaṁ ramayā suparṇe baddhāñjalau kṛta-dṛśaṁ vidhinārcyamānam bhūyo vibhūtibhir amuṁ bahu lālayantaṁ śrī-nārada-praṇaya-bhaktiṣu datta-cittam TRANSLATION As the goddess of fortune, Lakṣmī, massaged His feet, He glanced at Garuḍa, who stood before Him with joined palms. Lord Brahmā worshiped the Lord with opulent offerings, and in turn the Lord amply gratified him. Lord Mahāpuruṣa was also attentive to Śrī Nārada's displays of loving devotion.
Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Text 129 śrī-gopa-kumāra uvāca tac chrutvā tatra gatvā taṁ mahā-puruṣam īkṣitum japaṁ kurvaṁs tapo-loke niviṣṭo 'ntaḥ-samādhinā TRANSLATION Śrī Gopa-kumāra said: Hearing this, I wanted to go to that planet and see the Mahāpuruṣa. Seated on Tapoloka, I chanted my mantra and focused my attention in samādhi.
Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Text 119 kadācit sanakādīṁś ca dhyāna-niṣṭhā-vaśaṁ gatān vindatas tāni rūpāṇi dṛṣṭvāpnomi parāṁ mudam TRANSLATION Sometimes when Sanaka and his brothers were absorbed in meditation they would assume those forms of the Lord. Seeing this, I would relish extreme pleasure.
So now we're going into 'Live to Give' campaign. For those of you who are moping around, feeling sad, 'What happened to Bhadra? It's over already? So fast! What am I going to do now with my life?' We've got Bhagavad-gītās, and now it seems easy, doesn't it? 'Oh, no problem!' So, what we are going for is a baseline of 5 million. A few years ago, when we talked about going for a million, everyone said, 'How would that be possible?' Now we're just creeping up to the 5 million point. Let's take a look at a few slides. This is how it looks. It's not as choppy as the Bhadra graph that we have; we're making a steady climb.Bhagavad-gītā is easy! We can make great strides. 2025, we want to be poised for 2026 to hit the 5 million, or pass it, smash it! So, our goal for this year worldwide is 4.6 million Bhagavad-gītās. So, let's keep that in mind. You can advertise it to all your local people—everybody's invited! Everybody on the planet can distribute multiple cases of Bhagavad-gītā, and people are welcome to give millions of dollars to help this happen. The Christians do it; they do way more in Bible. So, let's get going. We don't have much time for this planet. We have to get into this very enthusiastically. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #bhadrapurnima #bookdistribution #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose
Congratulations to everybody! It's the driving force behind our ISKCON organization when we have something worthy to push for and to challenge ourselves. And this is what's happening through Bhadrā; we're rising to new levels. By fully concentrating on distributing books for Kṛṣṇa, one is fully absorbed in Kṛṣṇa. This is Samādhi. It's a very special kind of Samādhi because it takes courage to present Śrīmad Bhāgavatam to others. It also takes one's own fortification through hearing Śrīmad Bhāgavatam and understanding that it's life-changing. I have noted that devotees who come into this kind of Samādhi improve in all areas of their lives. They become better at their sādhanā because they want to be more absorbed; they want to be more effective. They also become more efficient in using their time. Everything good comes from thinking of Kṛṣṇa and thinking of Śrīmad Bhāgavatam and how to distribute, It is not different from thinking of Kṛṣṇa, but it's very special in the sense that Prabhupāda advocates throughout the Śrī Caitanya Caritāmṛta and the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam and the Bhagavad Gītā that our main means of pleasing Kṛṣṇa is to preach. So this is the ideal way of thinking of Kṛṣṇa and being in Samādhi. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose
Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Text 108 antar bahiś ca paśyāmas taṁ samādhi-parāyaṇāḥ nāto viccheda-duḥkhaṁ syād ity agāt tatra sa prabhuḥ TRANSLATION We devotees of yoga-samādhi see Lord Nara-Nārāyaṇa both within ourselves and without. And so, there being no danger of our suffering pain due to separation from the Lord, He went to Gandhamādana.

Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Texts 103-105 aśeṣa-sādhanaiḥ sādhyaḥ samastārthādhikādhikaḥ yo vaśī-karaṇe gāḍho- pāyo bhagavato 'dvayaḥ tat-prasādaika-labhyo yas tad-bhaktaika-mahā-nidhiḥ vicitra-paramānanda- mādhurya-bhara-pūritaḥ mahā-nirvācya-māhātmyaḥ padārthaḥ prema-saṁjñakaḥ pariṇāma-viśeṣe hi ceto-vṛtter udeti saḥ TRANSLATION There is one goal of all disciplines, one highest attainment of all, the one potent means to bring the Supreme Lord under one's control. Only by the mercy of the Lord can it be gained. It is the rare, exclusive treasure of His devotees, a treasure rich with every sort of transcendental ecstasy and sweetness. Its wonderful glories are beyond the power to describe. That attainment is called prema. It arises from special transformations of the functions of the mind.
Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Text 100 ānandaka-svabhāvo 'pi bhakti-māhātmya-darśanāt bhaktān harṣayituṁ kuryād durghaṭaṁ ca sa īśvaraḥ TRANSLATION The Supreme Lord, by nature the bestower of ecstasy, creates such unlikely situations to delight His devotees by showing them the greatness of devotional service.
Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Texts 98-99 parānanda-ghanaṁ śrīmat sarvendriya-guṇāñjanam nārāyaṇasya rūpaṁ tat sākṣāt sampaśyatām api madhu-kaiṭabha-mukhyānām asurāṇāṁ durātmanām na līno duṣṭa-bhāvo 'pi sarva-pīḍā-karo hi yaḥ TRANSLATION The beautiful, all-opulent form of Lord Nārāyaṇa, the concentrated essence of supreme bliss, refines the functions of all the senses. Yet demons like Madhu and Kaiṭabha, even after seeing the Lord in person, did not lose their evil disposition, distressing to all.
Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Text 93 tasya kāruṇya-śaktyā vā dṛśyo 'stv api bahir-dṛśoḥ tathāpi darśanānandaḥ sva-yonau jāyate hṛdi TRANSLATION And even if by the power of His mercy He becomes visible to external eyes, the bliss that arises from seeing Him has its natural source in the heart.
After Kyoto moved clear on top of J1 with ten rounds left, Jamie Meikle made a very welcome return to the pod to discuss Sanga's 5-0 romp over Okayama on Saturday, and what's gone so right in his side's remarkable campaign to this point (to 32:07). Then Jonny and Ben round up the rest of the top flight results, beginning with Kashiwa's controversy-tinged home win over Fukuoka, and Kobe edging past Yokohama F.Marinos, before we discuss a couple of game-of-the-season contender goal-fests.
