Glories to Lord Kesava, who has fine hair, who removes the miseries of the age of Kali—Radhe Syama Syama Syama! 1) O Krsna, You wear beautiful earrings, and You have lovely widened eyes. Around Your neck hangs the splendorous vaijanti flower garland. Your complexion is most excellent—Radhe Syama Syama Syama! 2) Sometimes You secretly plunder yogurt and eat it, and sometimes You design a rasa-dance performance with the young gopis in the forest of Madhuvana. There dances Vipina-Vihari, You who love to sport in the forest— Radhe Syama Syama Syama! 3) You herd the cows in the company of the cowherd boys. Therefore You are worshipped by love and not by mere rituals—Rädhe Radhe Syama Syama Syama! 7) To bestow mercy upon Draupadi, You, the Lord of the forest, supplied unlimited cloth to protect her from shame, while the assembly of men and women looked on— Radhe Syama Syama Syama! 8) You deliver each of Your devotees in unique ways. Alas, we who are bereft of devotion are standing here outside Your door. Please favorably receive the news of our presence— Radhe Syama Syama Syama! 9) You were the driver of Arjuna's chariot, and on the battlefield You gave Arjuna the instructions of the Bhagavad-Gita. The brand new Vera Rubin Observatory recently opened its 28-foot diameter mirror and snapped a few stunning images that astronomers displayed to the public for the first time in June. You can explore the amazing imagery of the heavens at the observatory's website at this site: https://rubinobservatory.org/news/first-imagery-rubin Why so many stars? Why is the universe so immensely enormous, beyond our comprehension? What is the universe saying to us? There would be no science of the heavens if the universe was not speaking to us. But what is it saying? And who are we among all these stars? Why are we here to see such wonders? We here at Good Heavens! think it is all because God created us to be here, for such a time as this. He has numbered and named all the stars and knows our names too. And just like He did with stars, God has numbered all the hairs of our head, too, even though we might not be able to see every follicle ourselves. The heavens and our human frames all are fearfully and wonderfully made and attest to God's glory. We continue our conversation with author Seth Lewis about his lovely little book The Language of Rivers and Stars - How Nature Speaks of the Glories of God. Come and see! Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The study of the book of Revelation continues here on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast. We are in chapter 20 verses 4 thru 6. Dr. Mitchell will be looking into the glories of the first resurrection as written here in verses 5 and 6.Christ Himself is the first resurrection because He is the resurrection and the life and whoever believes in Him shall live even if he dies. John 11:25.Let' join our teacher, Dr. Mitchell in Rev. chapter 20 verse 4.
Despite how secular most disciplines in the physical sciences are today, those who study nature assume that nature is intelligible and that it should be explored. But how does modern science actually explain what nature is saying to us? How do the explain that nature is intelligible to us at all? Is science the only way to understand the physical universe and everything it contains? From silvery meandering rivers to the variegated heavenly canopy of stars above us, all creation is speaking to us, but in the words of the late Dr. Carl Sagan, "Who speaks for Earth?" God does. And creation is His workmanship. He has revealed to us His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine glory, through what He has made. He has given us two books to know Him better, creation and the Bible. We should be diligent students of both. On the next two episodes of Good Heavens this month, we speak with someone who has exegeted the physical creation with great care and attention. His name is Seth Lewis and he is the author of a brilliant little book The Language of Rivers and Stars - How Nature Speaks of the Glories of God. Seth will share with us his insights and wisdom as to how he sees all of creation pointing us, drawing us, toward Christ. You can find out more about Seth and his work on his website: https://sethlewis.ie/2025/04/30/the-language-of-rivers-and-stars/ Here on part one we talk about how we can respond to God through creation and how we can sustain hope through the midst of the terrifying reality of natural disasters. The Glories of the City of God! If you are blessed by today's Bible study, please support my channel by liking, subscribing, commenting, and sharing with your friends and family! I am not a Pastor, and agree with God's word that women are not supposed to be Pastors. However, all people are called to share the gospel. It is perfectly acceptable and Biblical for women to lead Bibles studies outside the church as an ancillary addition to the church, and especially if it is a viable avenue for study of the Word on a daily basis, like I'm doing on this show, and paving the way for all of us to be closer to the Lord and become more knowledgeable of the Bible. If you care to contribute to my work with the Daily Bible study and sharing the Gospel, as part of your tithes and offerings, you can do so through PayPal by sending it to my PayPal address of: ReneHoladay@gmail.com Thank you for watching and God Bless you all! ;() --------------------- The primary study bible that Rene' uses is the 'Spirit-filled Life Bible, by Jack Hayford, and is available in hard cover or faux leather on Amazon at: https://amzn.to/434fBnQ You can watch this episode on Youtube at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2v9ekffu7ds Please be sure to LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, COMMENT, and SHARE!
I practiced what I preached and I went a-Maying, exploring the gifts of spring in Northern California. I found fuel for the mind, the body and soul. I learned that the East Bay is a lost world which is always on the move, tectonically and morphologically speaking. The Berkeley Rose Garden offers an exploratory visit that delights the senses with more than 250 varieties of roses, and I could follow the footsteps of the Green Man and Woman in its design and botanical treasures. I then found the human equivalents of this surrender to life and its powerful currents, at the Jack London State Historic Park, where the legacy and narratives of Jack and Charmian London's lives prompt the questions: What is it to be brave and daring today? How do you live your own story? What makes you feel like a flower in rapturous bloom? Enjoy!

This very sweet sermon takes a seminal declaration of gracious forgiveness as the starting point of a very simple treatment of this central theme. After an introduction in which he presses home the need to believe what God says concerning forgiveness, Spurgeon launches into a warm treatment of the measure, manner, and manifestations of forgiving grace. In the first he emphasises the divine largesse, the greatness of God's heart in putting away sin, the riches of divine grace. In the second, which is much like the first in tone, he calls us to reckon with God acting in accordance with those divine riches. In the third, his emphasis turns to the fact that it is through the redemption in Christ's blood that these riches of grace are revealed and bestowed. As he concludes, he returns to the thrust of his introduction, asking us whether or not it is right for believers to speak of themselves using the same language as unbelievers, to pray or praise as if we had not received the forgiveness of sins. The preacher calls us to feel the love that arises from forgiven sin, the only proper response to such wonders of grace. A new MP3 sermon from Maidenbower Baptist Church is now available on SermonAudio with the following details: Title: The Glories of Forgiving Grace (sermon 1555) Subtitle: From the heart of Spurgeon Speaker: C. H. Spurgeon Broadcaster: Maidenbower Baptist Church Event: Podcast Date: 4/4/2025 Bible: Ephesians 1:7 Length: 30 min.
Devotees come here to Govardhana by the millions every year, and they just walk around. You can see all night long, you can hear them all night long, groups of people walking around Govardhana. And I can say that in the years that I've been coming to Govardhana and staying here, which would be—this would be year 25, if we stay at Kārtika over here—25th stay here at Govardhana. I've seen people that do parikramā every day, all the way around. I know people that go around twice a day. It's their main occupation. I've met people who do 108 daṇḍavats in one place, and then they move to the next place and do another 108. I've seen whole families, including mom, dad, all the kids, doing daṇḍavat parikramā together all the way around Govardhana Hill instead of going to Disneyland to see the mouse. They come here to the holy place. And I've never, ever seen anybody unhappy, ever. In fact, there's a blissful look in people's faces as they walk around Girirāja or they do daṇḍavat parikramā. You'd think somebody would be complaining, like, "Mom, Dad, this is enough. I want to go somewhere else." But no, everyone feels satisfied, and it's a great miracle of Govardhana Hill that everyone who comes here feels satisfied. And people come for many different reasons. They'll come because they want a husband or wife, or they want to pass the final exam, or whatever they want. Kṛṣṇa fulfills everyone's desire here, as it's already mentioned in the Śrī Īśopaniṣad. He's the primeval philosopher who's been fulfilling everyone's desire since time immemorial, but especially for those who want pure devotional service. There's a flavor here at Govardhana that one can imbibe, or a beverage that one can imbibe, that is an elixir from walking around Govardhana, praying to Govardhana Hill, and remembering the pastimes of Kṛṣṇa around here. One can feel satisfied and invigorated. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #pilgrimageoftheheart #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

It's time to visit Egypt again. In November 2025, we are doing a 9-day visit to Luxor for the "Glories of Thebes!" Starting in Cairo (with the GEM) we head south to visit the Valley of the Kings, Memorial Temples, Deir el-Medina, Abydos, Karnak, and so much more. This week, the U.S. government takes another L in court as a judge rules that handing out personal data like free candy to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is, in fact, a privacy violation. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Holmes and Sunny Balwani's dreams of walking free are crushed as a judge upholds their fraud convictions and massive fines. Sorry, no Silicon Valley redemption arc for you. Over in crypto, Bitcoin took a wild nosedive, sending traders into full panic mode before bouncing back. Trump Coin also rode the rollercoaster but, let's be honest, it's still circling the drain. In corporate chaos, Warner Bros. Discovery slashed its gaming division, Google axed more employees while crying about AI costs, and an AI-generated video of Trump sucking on Musk's toes somehow took over HUD office TVs. Speaking of Musk, federal tech staffers are resigning en masse rather than work for DOGE, and the FAA is cozying up to SpaceX while pretending it's totally not a conflict of interest. Over in Big Tech, Chegg is suing Google for stealing their content, and Meta can't stop Instagram from flooding users' feeds with violent and NSFW Reels. Also, Grok 3, Musk's AI pet project, handed out chemical weapon blueprints like a particularly unhinged WikiHow before xAI scrambled to cover their tracks. On the media front, Andor is coming back with a binge-friendly release schedule, Kathleen Kennedy is finally exiting Lucasfilm, and Daredevil: Born Again is getting early buzz. YouTube now claims a billion monthly podcast viewers, Fyre Festival 2 is happening because we clearly learned nothing from the first one, and Jeff Bezos has decided The Washington Post will now be his personal capitalism fan club. Meanwhile, Microsoft's AI Copilot is helpfully explaining how to pirate Windows, Skype is getting sent to the great app graveyard in the sky, and Google is making it slightly less impossible to remove your personal info from search results. All that, plus Paramount+ is giving us 50 classic MTV Unplugged episodes because nostalgia is the only safe investment these days.
