Sure, sometimes it's about the weather, or a tier list of soda, but usually it's about all things Rocket League. This episode features topics like caster criticism, a look back at Salt Mine 2, and hopes for the Fall Split of Season X.Signup for the newsletter to catch all the episodes and our other content at https://smelly.af

Season X recap, looking ahead to Japan, so much Q&A we want to die after, enjoy our suffering and screaming like always.
This week we’re chillin’ for a more casual show, with our continued thoughts on Destiny 2, as well as the total craziness happening with Fortnite’s “The End” event, and our hesistance on Google’s Stadia! (Fun fact, we recorded this before everything got announced) Got questions to ask the hosts? Hit us up on twitter (@GamerHeroesPod)...
It's our Season 10 Premier and things are about to get wild y'all! Seriously, this is our TENTH SEASON of IWS Radio! That's cray-cray! It's gonna be LIT AF too! We're throwing the party of the century to celebrate. Or something. The witty banter is gonna be eXtra witty. The good and bad songs will be eXtra good and bad. The booze will be eXtra boozy. In short, Matt, Jaime and Jay are gonna be ..... eXtra in Season X! As always the IWS Players will be around to help us celebrate by brininging the funny. On top of that we will be making our Super Bowl predictions, sending out our thoughts and prayers to Alabama after the state was ravaged by Hurricane Dorian, and honestly who knows what else will happen. We like to keep things pretty loosy-goosey, ya know. Of course the eXtreme phone lines will be open @ 661.244.9852 if you've got something you need to talk about. So, grab some snacks and refreshments and hit the dance floor as we party down and get eXtra in Season X!
This week Tim is planning to take his lady away for a few nights and gets all romantic, Rob’s been to the hospital for a check up on his wrist again and we remember the days of Speedball 2, Kick Off 2 and Rainbow Islands on the Atari ST/Amiga and Fortnite has given us Season X. Rob has finally found a copy of the thriller ‘Pacific Heights’ from 1990 starring Michael Keaton, Matthew Modine and Melanie Griffiths and we also figure out that Michael Keaton has an occasional trait when delivering some of his lines. Tim talks about The Boys on Amazon Prime, the Seth Rogan link and Rob tells us that he just doesn’t like James Franco and has no idea why. This weeks listener story is by Tara who tells us of her daughter’s possible past lives and the stories she tells (but Rob reads it out as she didn’t want to deal with the fame); in the news a lady in Australia gets offered money for her under garments, a delivery driver leaves an unexpected parcel and what does Amazon Alexa hear that you might not want her to? To finish the episode, Uncle Tim has put together this weeks Beat The Intro Quiz but the question is, Can you beat Rob? As always we want to hear your listener stories and feature you in our show, record them on your phone or computer, voice, video or simply write the story and we’ll do the rest, then send it to fromunderthethumb@gmail.com; it couldn’t be simpler.

Well, what have we here—it's the tenth season of ENTER THE VOID! Your patience has been rewarded: Bill and Renan are back for what we are gratuitously terming "Season X". (Multiple pronunciations accepted.) This time, we're doing things a little bit differently. The good news: we'll be doing 10 films instead of 8; we're going bimonthly, which may be bad if you need your fix, or good if you already have a lot of podcast obligations (we know the feeling); and we're doing a couple of bonus episodes, including a long-overdue discussion of mindfuck television, plus a finale / retrospective / wrap-up. And here's the bad: yep, about that finale—this will be the last season of ETV, at least for awhile, as Bill and Renan turn their attentions to new projects after this. We're not saying goodbye, we're saying "indefinite hiatus". But we're excited to go out with a bang, hit 100 total episodes, and we hope you'll come along for the ride. Here are the films we've got in store for you this season: 12 Monkeys (Gilliam) / La Jetée (Marker) 8½ (Fellini) Inception (Nolan) Being John Malkovich (Jonze) The Fly (Cronenberg) Fight Club (Fincher) Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie / Un Chien Andalou (Buñuel) Perfect Blue (Kon) Groundhog Day (Ramis) Blue Velvet (Lynch) Show links: Subscribe: Apple Podcasts Discuss: ETV Podcast Club Follow: Facebook + Twitter Archive: enterthevoid.fm
