El senador por San Juan, Félix Bautista, aclaró este domingo que sigue siendo “fernandista”, por lo que su compromiso a trabajar por la candidatura de Omar Fernández, es si Leonel Fernández no aspirara.Dijo que su lealtad a Fernández no está en duda y aseguró que el expresidente sigue siendo su líder político. La declaración parecería innecesaria, pero Bautista, uno de los hombres con más poder en los gobiernos de LF decidió aclarar que no pidió disculpas por apoyar aspiraciones del senador Omar Fernández. Su aclaración refuta al coordinador de la organización Radhames Jiménez quien habló por televisión y remitió una nota de prensa. En la FUPU hay un reperpero y no es chiquito. Leonel Fernandez el hombre que hizo un partido con su nombre, porque si usted no lo sabe el acrónimo LFP o la Fuerza del Pueblo es el mimo de Leonel Fernández Presidente, está amenazado por su propio hijo. Y el líder, maestro y guía y su gente parece que entienden que todavía no le ha llegado la hora. Quizás por eso retoma hoy su versión de La semanal , llamada la voz del pueblo cuya última edición formal fue en septiembre. Cuando el país político se apaga, como normalmente ocurre en diciembre las diferencias públicas en el principal partido de oposición no pasan desapercibidas. El gobierno no está en su mejor momento pero la oposición no ha podido capitalizar ese descontento. Y… lo dicen las encuestas. Y las encuestas dicen que Leonel Fernández no logra superar su handicap de rechazo que supera el 30%. Quienes no sabemos lo que es estar en el poder no entendemos lo que puede hacer la gente para estar en el poder y eso está pasando en la FUPU. Me dicen que Félix Bautista no está solo. Hay gente que fue golpeada por Leonel Fernández quien no ha permitido cercanías públicas y no es sólo Felix Bautista. El asunto pica y se extiende. A lo interno de la Fupu se entiende que la presencia del secretario general el antiguo sindicalista Antonio Florián, alias Peñita, está demás y que es el momento para que el hijísimo asuma el cargo. Peñita fue el artífice de la negociación para que  la franquicia del antiguo PTD se convirtiera en el partido que Leonel necesitaba, En fin diciembre comienza y la política dominicana no descansa.

Entre 2017 y 2018 cuatro ministros del gobierno de Danilo Medina y el entonces secretario general del Partido, Reinaldo Pared, renunciaron a sus posiciones para correr por una candidatura presidencial del partido morado dado que el presidente Danilo Medina estaba constitucionalmente impedido de reelegirse. Paralelamente los más cercanos colaboradores del presidente mantenían el discurso de la posibilidad de modificar la constitución y la presión mediática sobre ese tema consumió miles de horas.  Esa situación se extendió hasta el 2019 cuando el presidente dispuso el cerco del Congreso Nacional y este se extendió más de un mes hasta julio cuando la llamada del Secretario de Estado norteamericano Mike Pompeo puso fin al aventurerismo DAnilista. CArlos Amarante Baret, Temo Montás, Radhames SEgura, Andrés Navarro, Reynaldo Pared y Francisco Dominguez Brito consumieron gasolina y palabras en una lucha interna que Danilo Medina mandó al carajo de golpe y porrazo cuando escogió a su delfín y ministro de Obras Públicas como su candidato para enfrentar a Leonel Fernández. Quizás Danilo no tuvo nada que ver con la selección de Gonzalo pero tres días después de anunciar su aspiración los 122 alcaldes del PLD y N cantidad de funcionarios le ofrecieron su apoyo. La historia reciente es conocida: Gonzalo siquitrilló a Fernández y el formar tienda aparte. Una tienda que tenía apalabreada cuando Onofre Rojas saltó de su tradicional militancia en la APD a luchar por la presidencia del PTD. El verde del PTD se convirtió en el verde de la FUPU. Dividido el PLD y fuera del gobierno desde el 2020, los morados se alinearon de nuevo para una campaña interna en la que DAnilo Medina impuso de nuevo un candidato. Yo lo dije con tiempo “Abel es el candidato de Danilo” y lo dije por observación simple. Es el que tiene menos brillo propio y es también quien puede saltar para el leonelismo. De pasó Medina redujo a doña Margot y a  Dominguez Brito a su mínima expresión. Danilo es el dueño del PLD pero, como dueño, ha resultado un mal administrador. De partido el PLD ha devenido a partidito en manos de Medina y el griterío es generalizado. La pregunta es si Medina permitirá que alguien intente reparar la casa o si prefiere que se destruya en sus manos.

Terran Orbital CEO Marc Bell joins Natalie Stoberman from the Proactive studios to share the company's recent accomplishments from its first quarter financial results, receiving a $37.1 million direct offering, plus its record-breaking milestone for the Pathfinder Technology Demonstrator 3 (PTD-3) satellite. Bell says the company experienced tremendous growth in Q1 with $28.2 million in revenue across 20 programs. The company's backlog surged to over $2.5 billion, a 1300% increase, along with receiving an $87 million contract for 16 more satellites. To support further expansion, Bell says the company raised $37.1 million through a registered direct offering. And last but not least, Terra Orbital's Pathfinder Technology Demonstrator The recent collaboration with NASA on the Pathfinder Technology Demonstrator 3.0 Terran Orbital showcased the TBIRD's data transmission of 1.4 terabytes of test data to a single ground station in a pass that lasted less than five minutes – a record breaker at the time in terms of both speed and data transmission quantity. El Partido de la Liberación Dominicana permaneció en el poder durante 16 años consecutivos gracias al control monolítico que sobre la entidad ejercía la llamada OTAN que lideraba su comité político. El comité político del PLD se posicionó por encima del congreso y los ex presidentes Leonel Fernández y Danilo Medina decían sin sonrojo alguno tal o cual cosa debe conocerla el Comité político. Las diferencias entre Danilo Medina y Leonel Fernández que existieron en el primer gobierno fueron subsanadas por la derrota de este de mano de Hipólito Mejía que lo obligaron a bajar el perfil. La reforma constitucional del 2010 fue hecha para garantizar que el líder de Villa Juana retornara al poder luego de un interregno de cuatro años, pero… después de terciarse la ñoña Danilo Medina le dobló el brazo, ayudado por Quirino, y el resto ustedes lo saben. La vocación autoritaria de Danilo Medina se expresó en un cerco al congreso luego de varios intentos de obtener una mayoría que le permitiera seguir en el poder por un tercer período. No pudo comprar los suficientes legisladores y ustedes pueden pedirle a Google que les diga las veces en que el cuerpo de bocinas insistió en que todo estaba listo y que habían votos suficientes para una tercera reforma reeleccionista. Hasta que llamó Pompeo. LA ambición personal de Danilo no murió con el fracaso del proyecto reeleccionista y por eso escogió al peor pre-candidato que se pudo escoger. El mismo dijo que era la campaña más cara de la historia. Sorpresivamente vencido Leonel Fernández ya había dado pasos para adquirir la vieja franquicia del PTD en el que inesperadamente Onofre Rojas fue una cabeza de playa. Al irse con su gente Fernández dividió oficialmente el PLD en dos. Dividido el PLD pierde las elecciones sin necesidad de segunda vuelta y lo que ha pasado en los últimos dos años es que entre los expedientes de corrupción y las juramentaciones ganan los primeros. Todas las salidas han sido relevantes pero Julio César Valentin anda convertido en tiro de gracia. No es lo mismo dividir en dos que dividir en tres. En términos electorales todo lo que se le resta a uno se le suma a otro y vale por dos. Es uno que se tiene y uno que no necesita superar y eso solo beneficia a quien tiene más votos. En los mentideros políticos se discute si Julio César Valentín está cerca de Luis Abinader y la verdad es que no tiene que estarlo. Puede construir tranquilamente su proyecto político en el mediano y largo plazo, pero la verdad es que cada peleísta que se va es un voto que no tienen los morados y uno que no necesita vencer quien tiene mas posibilidades en este momento que es la reelección.

El PLD, la FUPU y el PRD salieron ayer por distintas vías a defender el 50 más uno para ganar las elecciones. El 50 más uno necesario para ganar un proceso electoral en la República Dominicana ha generado un esquema de sobrevivencia de la peor crápula política que hayamos conocido. Después de un fraude electoral que generó la peor crisis política en el país tras la caída de truijillo, el ex presidente Joaquín Balaguer fue forzado a un acuerdo político que generó las más importantes reformas institucionales de la vida dominicana. Se dispuso nuevamente la “no reelección presidencial”, así como la reducción de 4 a 2 años el período del Presidente de la República del momento 94-98, lo que originó nuevas elecciones en 1996. Además, se separaron las elecciones presidenciales de las congresuales y municipales y se creó el sistema de doble vuelta electoral en caso de que ningún candidato alcance el 50 por ciento más un voto, se establecieron los colegios cerrados, la inamovilidad de los jueces y el principio de la doble nacionalidad. Por conveniencia política esa reforma se fue al carajo y solo queda la doble nacionalidad y el famoso 50 más uno ahora en el candelero. Para los más jóvenes les puedo explicar como surgió eso. El texto de los acuerdos que permitieron esa reforma fue redactado por un grupo tripartita en el que participaron Reformistas, perredeistas y peledeístas. Rojos y colorados ya tenían fuertes vínculos políticos que luego se harían públicos. Tras varias jorndas de discusiones en la Biblioteca Nacional los partidos llegaron un acuerdo que NO establecía 50 más uno sino 45 o una diferencia de más de 10% entre primera y segunda posición para evitar una segunda vuelta electoral. El acuerdo fue en la tarde y en la noche para la firma los pelereformistas modificaron el texto y lo llevaron a 50 a sabiendas que el tope histórico del PRD y Peña Gómez era un 46%. Varias fuentes me han indicado que los mediadores forzaron a Peña a firmar el entuerto indicando que evitaría un derramamiento de sangre si se extendía la crisis. Lo que pasó en el 96 ustedes lo saben. Lo que ha pasado a partir de ahí es el boroneo de votos de una serie de partiduchos que viven del estado a cuentas de mil o dos mil votos que son necesarios para que los grandes lleguen al famoso 50 más uno. Yo no sé cual ha sido el costo para el estado pero ha sido alto. El estado convertido en botín paga a los partiduchos con una dirección o una diputación. Leonel institucionalizó las entidades-partidos y así procomunidad era del PTD, migración de los Vinchos, la Cruz Roja del PRI, Bienes Nacionales del PQD, etc, etc. Por eso usted ve a Zorrilla Ozuna y a Martiza Ortiz, ambos propietarios de franquicias buscando la valla de Luis Abinader. Ahora en la primera discusión de la reforma electoral posible los partidos salieron a defender a sus socios. A la crápula que tiene en una franquicia política un modus vivendi.

Time to discuss the changes that happened to the Nevada Industrial Insurance Act and Nevada Occupational Disease Act as a result of the bills that made it to the Governor's desk during Nevada's 81st Legislative Session.We'll discuss AB 400, SB 295, and SB 289 with Jason D. Mills, Esq. partner at GGRM Law Firm.We'll go over the great news in SB 295 which was authored by Senate Majority Leader Cannizzaro and lobbied by the Professional Firefighters of Nevada (PFFN) and GGRM's very own, Jason Mills, which revises provisions relating to industrial insurance that affect first responder's heart/lung/hepatitis Permanent Total Disability (PTD) monthly benefits.  As of October 1, 2021, any police officer, firefighter, or arson investigator that is receiving Permanent Total Disability (PTD) benefits due to heart disease, lung disease or hepatitis, will be able to engage in non-police, non-fire, non-arson investigating employment and not have to worry about their Permanent Total Disability benefits being reduced or offset. For any PTD recipients who were also retired out based on an early Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS) medical discharge, it is essential to continue to get clearance with the PERS before engaging in any gainful employment so as not to impact your PERS pension benefits.

Ever heard of Therapeutic Deism? It’s a worldview worth understanding and exploring because it’s everywhere. In the early 2000s the church identified and rightly tried to correct the widely held values of Moralistic Therapeutic Deism. But now, it’s Progressive Therapeutic Deism—the belief that there is a God who wants you to be happy and that happens when you are your most authentic self. While this worldview sounds attractive and is peddled and reaffirmed everywhere, it is leading to our ruin. PTD falls short, leaving us discouraged and exhausted and far from the Lord. Sambath Meas was born in Pailin, Cambodia at a time of civil war. Having survived the effects of the Vietnam War, the Khmer Civil War, and the Maoist-inspired Khmer Rouge regime, her parents decided not to stick around for another phase of mass killings. Her family, like thousands of other Khmers, fled to the Cambodian-Thai border in 1979. After being displaced in various refugee camps for two years, Chicago became their new home in 1981. Meas graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a B.A. in political science and has taken writing classes at Northwestern University. She works in the legal industry for 20 years now. In her spare time, she helps novice writers to get started with their stories. Her current projects include self-help, science fiction, graphic novel, and young adult fantasy books. She writes fiction, focusing on murder mystery, fantasy, and science fiction; and nonfiction, focusing on memoir, biography, and self-improvement. Sambath shares her story about her family's experience from the Khmer Rouge era and what her parents went through.  She also shares what she has done to help her father's PTD from the Khmer Rouge, have a better relationship with parents and live a much happier life. Orbital and pretibial fibroblasts are targets of autoimmune attack in Graves' ophthalmopathy (GO) and pretibial dermopathy (PTD). The fibroblast autoantigen involved in these peripheral manifestations of Graves' disease and the reason for the association of GO and PTD with hyperthyroidism are unknown. RNA encoding the full-length extracellular domain of the TSH receptor has been demonstrated in orbital and dermal fibroblasts from patients with GO and normal subjects, suggesting a possible antigenic link between fibroblasts and thyrocytes. RNA was isolated from cultured orbital, pretibial, and abdominal fibroblasts obtained from patients with severe GO (n = 22) and normal subjects (n = 5). RNA was reverse transcribed, and the resulting cDNA was amplified by the polymerase chain reaction, using primers spanning overlapping regions of the entire extracellular domain of the TSH receptor. Nucleotide sequence analysis showed an A for C substitution in the first position of codon 52 in 2 of the patients, both of whom had GO, PTD, and acropachy. Genomic DNA isolated from the 2 affected patients, and not from an additional 12 normal subjects, revealed the codon 52 mutation by direct sequencing and AciI restriction enzyme digestions. In conclusion, we have demonstrated the presence of a genomic point mutation, leading to a threonine for proline amino acid shift in the predicted peptide, in the extracellular domain of the TSH receptor in two patients with severe GO, PTD, acropachy, and high thyroid-stimulating immunoglobulin levels. RNA encoding this mutant product was demonstrated in the fibroblasts of these patients. We suggest that the TSH receptor may be an important fibroblast autoantigen in GO and PTD, and that this mutant form of the receptor may have unique immunogenic properties.

The Angelic Conflict - Part 13 - Point 4. - Two Categories of Fallen Angels Under the Command of Satan - (1) Non-operational angels. a) Gen 6 angels involved in the angelic attack to infiltrate the human race, now in Tartarus. b) The first demon assault army incarcerated in the abyss at this time. The abyss is the location of the demon king Abaddon or Apollyon, Satan's assistant or his right hand man. 1. Only those in the cosmic system, the world system, can be attacked. Believers who are PTD are protected by a wall of fire. 2. They cannot kill their victims - this relates to crisis evangelism. These demons actually have the power and the ability to be visible to man. Locusts are used for an army of destruction. Scorpions are used as an analogy for torture. This is all a manifestation of the grace of God as warning before judgment! This is God's last appeal to the believer to get out of the cosmic system and to the unbeliever to become born again and saved! Their target will be made up of people who live in the cosmic system, believers and unbelievers of the Tribulation. COL 1:16 “For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities -- all things have been created by Him and for Him.” Those who have the seal of God became saved after the Rapture, during the Tribulation, and are slaves or servants to God. They carry out the will and the purpose of God. Their target includes only those people who actually reside in the cosmic system, but they cannot kill them. torment = basanizo = to question by applying torture, to torture, to vex with grievous pains (used of body or mind), to torment, to be harassed, to be distressed. Before TLJC comes back in the Second Coming (Second Advent), Satan turns on his own kingdom. LUK 9:25 “For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits himself?” When our Lord returns to the earth, He doesn't find a thriving world under the rulership of Satan but a kingdom divided - the kingdom of darkness is divided against itself. So great is the pain and suffering from this demon assault army that many will seek death but they will never find it. Only when a believer's in fellowship, learning and applying Bible doctrine, and executing the plan of God, does he have any way of coping with adversity. Good decisions result in great blessing and prosperity. Bad decisions result in great adversity. Man is the product of his own decisions! As a result of living in the cosmic system, they will seek as the only solution to their problems the one solution which is a total admission of defeat - suicide. The issue = the Millennial reign is about to start and every unbeliever is going to be removed from the earth by the baptism of fire - this is their last chance to be saved! As believers they have hit the bottom, and the only decision that they can make that will start their recovery is to rebound, or if they're unbelievers, to become a believer. Robert R.
