Welcome to Episode 97 We kick off by once again discussing burying one of our colleagues and how TheSuffolkRam sleeps at night. We then finally get into the main podcast with games with been playing with – as Skazz calls it – ‘Splatoon with boobs’  in Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash. A group of Japanese girls fight in a tournament on the peach beach using water pistols. TheSuffolkRam has been playing two games, first up is Orwell: Ignorance is Strength the sequel to the Orwell. the game about surveillance and detective work. This games focuses more on the concept of fake news and creating a narrative. His second game follow on in the ‘strange walking simulator’ genre of game with The Norwood Suite, set in a strange hotel where you have to help people by retrieving items in order to get access to a DJ. We somehow end up talking about TheSuffolkRam future trip to Bletchley Park and how enigma was cracked. We finally finish off by discussing the latest voting on the EU directive with it overbearing copy-write laws. Which leads onto a discussion of what makes something successful. We also discuss the current alive or death status of the characters of Sesame Street and how much games should guide you on. Notes: Splatoon with water pistols in Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash Curate the facts and change events with Orwell: Ignorance is Strength A strange walking simulator with a music theme with The Norwood Suite The EU latest version of the copy-write directive, which ironically these podcast note would break.
