"You want me to understand your sadness? You think I'm going to sympathize with you? I swore to protect my sister/daughter and my friends. If someone puts them in danger, they must stand aside or be cut down!" We reach the exciting conclusion as Rick and special guest host Dave (Tales From the Backlog) finish the story of NieR Replicant. We go through endings A through D, touching on the differences between each route. We also tackle the newly added ending E, and parse out how it may or may not relate to NieR Automata. Thanks for joining us on this journey - enjoy!

"You don't get to decide who lives and who dies. She has a life! She has meaning and worth, and we're going to save her! Everyone has something to live for. Even Kainé...even Yonah."This week, Dave Jackson (Tales From the Backlog) joins Rick as they discuss NieR: Replicant, the 2010/2021 action JRPG from the mind of Yoko Taro. Taro has a penchant for telling bleak stories with humanity at their cores - is Nier the same? We go over these thematic ideas as well as the mechanics, dev history, and story. Part 1 will cover up to the time skip, and part 2 will cover the remainder of the game. Congratulations we've all survived another revolution of this big blue marble and the universe has seen fit to reward us with a new season of anime to momentarily distract us from questioning our existence. We've got another jam packed season full of new titles, everything from Nier, to the Trigun Remake, and a whole slew of fantasy titles with names so long you won't even be able to keep them straight. Naturally we're starting off with our first impressions of a good chunk of what premiered this week with even more to come next. We've also got our nailed it and buy it or deny it from last season to get to so let's see how wrong we were in the past!Power Rankings live @tjapod on instagram

Hey everyone. We wanted to take a moment ahead of the Cyberpunk 2077 finale to set some expectations, as the show will have to go on a brief hiatus ahead of the Nier season. Some life stuff has come up and we're not going to be able to pick up right after Cyberpunk as we planned, so we wanted to take a quick second to put this announcement on the podcast feed where everyone would hear it. But don't worry! We will be back as soon as we're able. This isn't goodbye. Follow us on Twitter: Normandy FM: @normandyfmshow Eric: @seamoosi Kenneth: @shepardcdr

– Chodzi oczywiście o usuwanie owłosienia głównie z nóg i okolic bikini. To najbardziej prymitywna metoda obarczona dużym ryzykiem niepowodzeń i powikłań w postaci wrastających włosków, zacięć, ran, a czasami nawet odcinania fragmentów skóry. Dodatkowo potrafi dochodzić do zapalenia mieszków włosowych.

What's the story, RPGFan? Do you think it's worth a look? It seems kinda familiar, like a story from a book. RPGs and adventure games very often have an outsize focus on storytelling, in part because so many of them are about a group of characters growing and changing over the course of their game. Naturally, RPG fans of all stripes would prefer their games have a great story and great gameplay, but we know that's not always the case. In today's episode, five panelists decide whether they prefer a great story or great gameplay when only one of the two is an option, and highlight several games with particularly good narratives with lackluster playability, or vice-versa. When we think of RPGs, we often think about classic mega-hits like Final Fantasy 7 and Chrono Trigger (rightfully so) but over the years, RPGs have taken many memorable forms. In spite of change, they have almost always been defined by the cast of characters that surround and support the player character. In this episode, we look back at our personal favorites to find the RPG parties that stuck with us the most. Our choices span decades of gaming history and explore the differences in approach that are explored in both Eastern and Western RPGs.
