In this episode Greg and Joe cover the first game of a beloved but mostly Japanese franchise -- Front Mission! A strategy/tactical RPG made by Square where you control giant mechs in combat, this series is much known for the long gameplay, great music, and detailed stories. Front Mission was only Japanese only at the time of it's 16 bit release but has since had a very good remake availalbe worldwide. Tune in for our thoughts and impressions on this game. We talk about the game's presentation, basics, and technology as well as how the game begins. Dev Game Club looks at classic video games and plays through them over several episodes, providing commentary. Five years ago, there was a little bit of buzz around a game that Square Enix was publishing. Some of the people involved in making it had worked on Dark Souls, Armored Core, Metal Gear Solid. But, then it came out, and people were not happy one bit. We're going back to 2019 to look at a stealth-action survival game that was a Front Mission spin-off. We're talking LEFT ALIVE.On this episode of Stealth Boom Boom, we look at how something resembling a bit of a dream team was brought together to make this game at developer Ilinx. If lazy vampires won't wake him up maybe Robert Kirkman's BEST television show will. Which show, you may ask? You will just have to listen. It wouldn't be a Grinders episode without the Stinkos. Always Bitching About Something Man has a long list of complaints, AS USUAL. Politics, SWATTING, and genocide are just a few of the horrible pieces of news to end the year. Whiney Man isn't the only one with Stinkos as Frank deals with the more person issue of being sick (yuck)! Not to be left out, Eric has a personal beef with the Republicans in the Ohio capital as they wage a war against the trans community.  The Sweetos take an interesting turn as Bi Man slightly disagrees with Eric on the veto of the bill attacking the trans community. The disagreement is only slight as both agree the bill is evil. Both stand firm in their beliefs of protecting the trans community from oppression and discrimination.  As the final episode of the year, it's the Grinder tradition to reminisce about their favorite games of the year and movies. For the first time they also look back at the worst games and movies of the year. They were so bad that the people MUST be warned again. *Bitter Man glares angrily at The Flash* 2024 promises to be an exciting year for the Grinders. Labor Day has arrived, which means the unofficial end of summer. For gamers the beginning of fall means only one thing, some of the 2023's biggest releases are almost upon us! Even more important than that news is the start of a brand-new Halloween influenced tournament! We promised release dates, and we have several going all the way to November. For those who are not willing to wait, Gunbrella is releasing this month. For those who looking for something to do on a cold wet day in October, can look forward to Long Gone Days and the remake of Front Mission 2. And for the those who like to get their holiday shopping done early, November sees several releases, including the holiday themed Ebenezer and the Invisible World.  On very rare occasions do the Grinders get to all review a movie together. Although they have their own reviews, the Grinders all saw The Flash. Is it the worst superhero movie of the year, the decade, or all existence? Or maybe it was fantastic? Besides the Flash, Frank also reviewed some horror movies and Eric reviewed the classic Jurassic Park 3-D. It isn't all fun and games for the Grinders as they have a long list of Stinkos. DC fans are still mourning the loss of beloved Kevin Conroy, only to be hit with the devastating news that the massively talented Arleen Sorkin has died. It was also sad news for gameshow fans as the legendary Bob Barker has also died. Adding to the tragedy, the Grinders also address a couple of mental health related shootings.  To counteract the sadness of the Stinkos, the Grinders have several Sweetos to bring up the mood! They are all good, but they pale in comparison to Frank's ultimate Sweeto, his brand-new car!  Even better news than getting a new car is a brand-new tournament! With Halloween right around the corner, the Grinders made a list of a popular costume choice: the product mascot! 64 of the best consumer mascots are about to square off to determine who is rightfully the greatest mascot of them all! With a new tournament comes vicious new rumors, like these: I heard it through the grapevine that the California Raisins hate chocolate in a thin candy shell. Mr. Peanut personally blames the Scrubbing Bubbles for his need to use a monocle. Smokey the Bear and Morris the Cat used to be great friends, until they both fell in love with Lamb Chop and began a vicious rivalry. Elves are constantly at war with other factions of elves, and none hate each other more that the tree dwelling Keeblers and the pantry living Snap, Crackle, and Pop. The Crash Test Dummies need a new airbag, and they have volunteered Twinkie the Kid. Spudz McKenzie has a new furry chew toy that just keeps going and going and going and going and..... With unofficial fall here and real fall just a few weeks away, we will have less sunlight, colder weather, and more rain. Perfect weather to be a gamer!           I'm confused. Can anyone explain to me why Sony made a fat Batarang?  A Fatarang, so to speak.

No release date was given. A sequel to 2020's stylish sword-swinging parkour 'em up was announced for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, titled Ghostrunner II. From the creative talent behind ABZÛ, The Pathless and Journey, Sword of the Sea is a gorgeous adventure game where you use your sword as a hoverboard to explore ancient lands. It's scheduled to arrive on PS5 and PC, though no release date was confirmed. Mind-bending first-person puzzler The Talos Principle 2 was announced for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and is scheduled to arrive later this year. Stylish and eye-catchingly beautiful adventure game Neva was announced for PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S and PC with a 2024 release window. A new Cat Quest follow-up was announced for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and is scheduled to set sail in 2024. A new third-person 4v4 multiplayer shooter with heavy Splatoon vibes, dubbed Foamstars, was announced for PS4 and PS5. No release date was locked in. Voxel-based heist 'em up Teardown was announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and is scheduled to launch later this year. METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER will star the original voice cast  Dragon's Dogma II confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC; debut trailer, details, and screenshots Epic survival game Towers of Aghasba was announced for PS5 and PC, and will launch in 2024.  A new ‘Salvation' trailer was revealed for Square Enix's eagerly anticipated RPG Final Fantasy XVI. A new gameplay trailer was revealed for Remedy Entertainment's eerie horror shooter, Alan Wake 2, which is set to launch later this year on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A new gameplay trailer for Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Mirage was revealed. It's scheduled to launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on Oct. 12, 2023. Night in the Woods follow-up Revenant Hill was announced for PS4 and PS5, with no release date. We were given a fresh look at Cygames' upcoming action RPG,Granblue Fantasy: Relink  scheduled to arrive on PS4, PS5, PC later this year. A brand new trailer for Street Fighter 6 .Ultros A mysterious Metroidvania with a bright Guacamelee-esque art-style was announced for PS4, PS5, and PC, and is penciled in for next year. Tower of Fantasy Free-to-play open-world action RPG has migrated from mobile and PC and is getting fully-fledged PS4 and PS5 releases. No release date was given, though. A short teaser was revealed for Five Nights at Freddy's Help Wanted 2, which is set to come to PSVR2. It's locked in for a late 2023 launch. A new VR mode was officially confirmed for everybody's favorite action-horror experience, Resident Evil 4. It's scheduled to arrive in “late 2023” or “early 2024”. An Arizona Sunshine 2 was announced for PSVR2, and is locked in for a release later this year. Gritty tactical shooter, Crossfire Sierra Squad, was given a new gameplay trailer, and is set to arrive on PSVR2 later this year. Stylish VR first-person shooter, Synapse, received a new trailer. It comes exclusively to PSVR2 on July 4. Eagerly anticipated music pack from the legendary English rock band Queen was revealed in a new teaser trailer. Marathon Bungie revealed their next upcoming project, which appears to be an ultra-modern sci-fi competitive shooter. It's set to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, though no release window was given. Escape from Tarkov like Live Service Loot Extraction Shooter A mysterious trailer for what is presumably the next expansion for the popular sci-fi shooter dropped. Firewalk Studios' new PvP shooter nabbed a new trailer and is locked in for a PS5 and PC release next year. The much rumored dedicated streaming device for PS5 is now 100% official. Meanwhile, some snazzy new earbuds that will bring “next generation audio immersion” to your PS5 were officially announced, too. Bookending the show was a lengthy gameplay trailer featuring everybody's favorite web-slinging superhero in his follow-up, Spider-Man 2.
