When Fess Parker purchased the 714 acre Foxen Canyon Ranch in 1988 his plan was to run cattle, plant a few acres of vineyard and perhaps someday, establish a small winery. His dream was to start a family business that he could pass on to future generations. Dreams do come true. Eli Parker and his sister, Ashley, remain involved as stewards of their father's vision. Episode 007 - Post Nahko and Medicine For the People Concert with Nicole. This episode was recorded after a night out with my wife Nicole, we went to watch Nahko and Medicine for the People at the Republik here on Oahu. We have the albums and I've watched videos on YouTube so I thought I knew what to expect. However, this being our first live show, we were totally blown away by the positive energy blasting from the stage into the crowd. Nothing could have prepared us for what the night had in store for us. We don't go out that much anymore now that we have our son, but when I saw that Nahko was making a stop here on Oahu I knew we had to go. To be honest, I even considered going to one of the neighbor island shows if we had to. Looking back, I'm so glad we went, this concert was one of those experiences that is spiritually transforming. I broke out of my shell, no, I smashed that shell and danced the night away with Nicole. I'm usually very shy and don't dance at all, something Nicole makes fun of me for all the time, but this music and this show did something to me. I just said "fuck it, I'm here with my wife, the positive energy is pumping. Fuck what anybody thinks, who cares if we look like complete lunatics, let's bust this shit out!" and I've never had so much fun in my life and i know life will never be the same. So thank you guys.
