In this episode of the One More Time Podcast, we interview XL Eagle who talks about producing "Tommy Lee" by Tyla Yaweh and Post Malone, working with Nard & B, making hits with friends and more!XL Eagle is a multi-platinum producer originally from Douglasville, GA. It is crazy to think he went from watching Nard & B YouTube videos to being one of their closest collaborators. After catching the Migos "T-Shirt" placement with them, things really started to pick up for XL (aka "Beatgod"). His credits include Jacquees, Future, Tyla Yaweh, Post Malone, Youngboy Never Broke Again, Kevin Gates, Muni Long, TK Kravitz, and more. He prides himself on the strong relationships he has built in the industry and is blessed that he is able to make hits with people he calls friends. XL looks up to Rick Rubin for being able to produce across genres. He already has tapped into Hip-Hip, Pop and R&B with Rock influenced records on the way. *Recorded Sep 10th, 2020 On our podcast with Boston Legend and industry vet, DJ Chubby Chub, Vanni Allan Poe was an artist who he mentioned as someone to check for from a 2019 spin-off of the famous "Bonnie & Clyde" record by the late great Tupac. Vanni is an artist who's been doing his thing for quite some time in the Boston scene and can rap with the lyricists but can also make heartfelt records for the ladies. Charlie MaSheen got a chance to ask him a few things about his journey in music and what he has coming up next. Sylus Gambino is one of those names that sort-of emerged at the perfect time on the Boston rap scene with his street anthem collab with 8 Zipp, Cam Geez, and his label-mate Vanni, titled "Kill Or Be Killed". That record was a perfect blend of real life accounts in street life and tied together by a catchy and melodic hook. The success of the song spawned a #KillOrBeKilledChallenge which even inspired our host, Chizz, to give his social media followers a quick 12 bars. Sylus followed up with another hit single "Down For Me" anchored by Vanni Allan Poe on the hook again, but teams up with the Atlanta native TK Kravitz and another label-mate Cash Rari. This record has amassed almost 70k plays on youtube in just a short month! With a DJ Khaled-style of putting records together, Sylus Gambino credits his ear as his musical talent and plans to be an integral part of stringing together more collaborations in Boston. Join in on the conversation as Charlie MaSheen asks his guests some tough questions and share a few laughs with us! BE SURE TO CHECK OUT SYLUS GAMBINO AND VANNI ALLAN POE ON ALL DSPs! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/cwtfbradio/support
