Nach einem kleinen Plausch über Zeljkos Ehrfurcht vor der Technik und Timos selektives Gedächtnis (wer weiß schon noch, was er vorgestern gegessen hat?), tauchen die Jungs direkt in die Filmwelt ein. Timo ist mitten im Weihnachtsmodus und berichtet von seinem Rewatch der norwegischen Serie Hjem til jul (Weihnachten zu Hause). Er liebt die ersten zwei Staffeln und empfiehlt die Serie jedem, der auf romantische und "cozy" Weihnachtsstimmung steht – am besten im norwegischen Originalton! Allerdings war die dritte Staffel nach fünf Jahren Pause für ihn nicht mehr ganz so stark wie der Anfang. Zeljko hat sich von seinem Sohn zu einem Rewatch von Django Unchained überreden lassen und ist immer noch begeistert von Tarantinos Western-Epos. Die Charaktere, die Dialoge, die Musik – für ihn ist der Film immer noch ein Meisterwerk, auch wenn er heute vielleicht eine halbe Stunde kürzer sein dürfte. Timo hingegen gibt zu, dass er Tarantinos Frühwerke oft erst später zu schätzen gelernt hat. Als Kontrastprogramm zum aktuellen Blockbuster-Kino hat Timo sich den Indie-Film Lurker angesehen. Ein kleiner, feiner Film, der ihn positiv überrascht hat. Der Film der Woche ist diesmal das A24-Drama Sorry Baby. Und der hat beide tief beeindruckt! Was als stilles Porträt einer jungen Frau beginnt, entfaltet sich zu einer intensiven Auseinandersetzung mit einem traumatischen Erlebnis – einem sexuellen Übergriff im nahen Umfeld. Timo und Zeljko loben die authentische Darstellung, die starken Dialoge und die Tatsache, dass der Film trotz des schweren Themas Momente der Hoffnung und sogar des Humors bietet. Besonders die nuancierte Darstellung der Täter-Opfer-Dynamik und die Entscheidung der Protagonistin am Ende haben zu intensiven Diskussionen geführt. Ein wichtiger, sensibler und handwerklich hervorragender Film, der noch lange nachwirkt. We unpack its growth from a short-run, small-theater production into a bigger, longer running show which included a copy of the soundtrack for the audience to leave with. We discuss the logistics of the cast album, writing multilayered/tracked songs, comedy in the current climate, pushing the envelope and crossing the line, and putting it out into the public for outside production. It's an inspiring conversation, where even the most simple concepts and turn into much more ambitious projects. This week, something unusual happened. Larry and I were listening to a major podcast when the guest began describing a military man who remembered being recruited at age 13 — into a psychic program no one was supposed to know about.It echoed the very material I've disclosed in Team Whisper and Interview with a Psychic Assassin.He wasn't in the base I had been in, but his story matched the structure, purpose, and technology: the weaponization of psychic abilities, intelligence-gathering work, and mind-wipe protocols.What interested me even more is why this is surfacing now… and how tightly it's being woven into the UFO disclosure agenda.This year has already matched the “Looking Ahead” markers, and 2026 is lining up fast.Larry and I listened to a podcast where a known documentarian was sharing his journey during his most recent documentary about UFOs (or as they like to call them, UAPs now). Near the end of his interview, he mentioned a particular military man who had started to recall having been recruited into military service at age 13, which in the USA is illegal.“I think they are talking about Team Whisper,” Larry said.“It sure sounds like it,” I answered.Of course, Team Whisper is a novel, so there was no way he was part of it. But what Larry was referring to was the real-life recruitment and weaponization of psychic children around the world.I have addressed this issue in two of my novels, Team Whisper and Interview with a Psychic Assassin. They are both revelatory of what has been happening to many kids around the world.The interviewee didn't mention the military man's name, but he did mention that there would be a memoir published by him under a pen name, “xxxx”.Having a physical (or digital) rendering of his story, and a name — even though it is not his real name — I was able to scan for the military man and found him.A couple of things became obvious. He did not appear to be in the same base I had been at as a kid.Oh, did I tell you that those novels are based on real-world events?However, even though he was not in the same base, it appears that he was indeed part of a similar organization and had very similar aims and goals — the goal being the weaponization of psychic abilities.His branch appeared to be more on the intelligence-gathering side of things: Remote Viewing, bilocation, expansion of awareness, and correct interpretation of data.One of the interesting parts of this whole thing was that he also left at 17 and was recruited later, as an adult, into the conventional military. It was also interesting that he and his relatives were mind-wiped when his childhood participation was over.The reason he started having memories return was because he had a medical condition that affected his brain. When he checked with his mother, she confirmed that his father had taken him into the military at age 13. He also found documentation in his father's old things to support his returning memories.For me, it was interesting that this kind of revelation is coming out right now on major mainstream outlets. Yes, the podcast was from a show with millions of listeners around the world.When I looked at it, and at how it had been tightly wrapped into the UFO disclosure programs, it made me wonder about how this is all going to look in 2026.
