Grief. It can consume us after a death, accident, financial crisis, or illness. How do we find hope in times of loss? This series features stories from Agri families who have endured loss and heartache and experienced the hope that only Christ can bring. If you haven't listened to last week's episode, Loss and Trauma After a Farm Accident, please check it out first.  In that episode, Zach McCamey shared about losing a friend and coworker in a farm accident. It seems that everyone who is involved in the Agri industry knows at least one person who was severely injured or killed in a work accident. It's a grief we all know and it feels different from losing someone to illness or old age. In this week's episode, guest host Mandi Barham speaks with Tracy Osborne about grieving after a sudden loss.  She explains how people grieve and how we can support those around us who have lost someone. Visit our website at Agrihealth.net for more resources, including links to counseling offices in many states. If your area is not listed or if you have questions or comments, email us at info@agrihealth.net. If you are dealing with grief, you can also find support through GriefShare. What does healing really look like? When you have experienced physical or emotional abuse, can you ever truly heal? How can we break free once and for all from the mental and emotional trauma that is holding us back? This week, I had the honor of connecting with Tracy Osborne, as she shares with us how we can truly become a “Daring Woman”. In this episode, Tracey shares with us her personal story of experiencing repeated sexual and emotional abuse. She talks about the difficulty of processing through the heavy emotions that accompany trauma and how she has navigated her own healing journey. We dig into a variety of topics including how to identify the red flags in relationships that may be warning us of trouble ahead and how to shift our thinking and get out of the mentality that the abuse we may be suffering is our fault.   It’s easy to feel trapped but we hope this episode encourages you to break free and no longer allow yourself or your emotions to be controlled by anyone else.  WARNING* We discuss very openly about sexual and physical abuse. If you are sensitive to such topics please understand that the content may be a trigger.  Questions? Comments? We would LOVE to hear from you.
