Episode 301 - "The Art of Enough: Escaping the Productivity Trap"We live in a culture that quietly teaches us there is always more to optimize, improve, or accomplish—and that rest, satisfaction, or “enough” must be earned. But what if that story is costing us more than it gives? In this episode, Michelle and Scott explore the psychology behind the productivity trap: why doing more often feels safer than doing what matters, how constant optimization erodes clarity, and why the nervous system mistakes busyness for worth. This isn't a rejection of ambition or meaningful work. It's a reframing of how we relate to effort, value, and completion. If you've ever felt productive but oddly unfulfilled—or successful but never finished—this conversation offers a steadier way to step out of the cycle and reconnect with the art of enough.Keeping Your Sh*t Together in a Stressed World is a podcast hosted by Michelle Post, MA, LMFT and Scott Grossberg, JD, CLC, CCH, NLP, and is 30 minutes of raw, irreverent, and results-oriented discussion with one purpose in mind . . . to help you cope, thrive, and survive the craziness that's going on in the world. As a reminder, our “Get Your Sh*t Together” Home Retreat can be found here:http://thinkingmagically.com/retreatReplays of prior episodes can be found at:https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/scott-grossbergYou can also join our Facebook group:https://www.facebook.com/groups/keepingystMichelle Post can be reached at michelle@postinternationalinc.com http://postinternationalinc.com

Episode 300 - "Begin Again: The Psychology of Fresh Starts"Fresh starts are often misunderstood. They don't usually arrive with clarity, confidence, or a clean slate—they arrive after fatigue, disappointment, and change. In this milestone episode, Michelle and Scott explore the psychology of beginning again: why starting over can feel harder than continuing, how the brain resists new beginnings even when we crave them, and why real change rarely starts with motivation. This is a grounded conversation about permission, not pressure—and about choosing to step forward with honesty rather than hype. If you've felt the pull to begin again, this episode offers a calmer, more compassionate way to do just that.Keeping Your Sh*t Together in a Stressed World is a podcast hosted by Michelle Post, MA, LMFT and Scott Grossberg, JD, CLC, CCH, NLP, and is 30 minutes of raw, irreverent, and results-oriented discussion with one purpose in mind . . . to help you cope, thrive, and survive the craziness that's going on in the world.

I am the captain on this journey called life,I've sailed through storms, struggles and strife.I protect my passengers, cargo and crew,What's best for them is what I will do.☉Sawasdeeka New Paradigmers! All aboard!  The mighty vessel, 2026, is leaving the harbor of 2025 and the past behind.  It's time to decide what comes and what goes, who and what stays behind and what's essential for the journey ahead.  It's time for, drum roll please, you guessed it, CAPRICORN. It's interesting that the Sabian symbols for both the Sun and Full Moon have to do with what is permanent (truth) while Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, has dominion over this temporary, physical, third dimensional realm.  The big word that comes to me for Capricorn is RIGHT.  Right versus wrong, right action, right thought, righteousness, inalienable rights, etc.  When in doubt, or whenever we need to make a decision, it would seem the obvious choice is simply to do what's right. Right? Sometimes it's hard to determine what's right.  However, in the case of Capricorn (and these times) what's right is based upon what's best for the whole, the group, the community, those people and things that we have taken responsibility for, and our DUTY.  Some duties we have taken on voluntarily and committed to (another keyword for Saturn/Capricorn) while others have simply been given to us, hence the association of this archetype with “karma.”  One way or the other, as we move through life, we end up with responsibilities toward others and the outside world (financial comes to mind here too) and these increase as we get older.  But, no matter how old we are, we have decisions to make, and these first two months of 2026 will be full of big ones for many of us.  It's probably important to keep in mind here that not making a decision is a decision!  When in doubt, CHOOSE, you cannot make a wrong choice, as when you are in your integrity you are simply doing the best you can with what you've got.  We're all wounded, we're perfectly imperfect, we're all learning, we're all afraid.  We come to each and every decision carrying all of these, and, RIGHT ACTION, under these circumstances, is to humbly accept ourselves and life AS IS, going on a whim and prayer that what we do will, in some way, help it.  Knowing that we're all doing the best we can with who and what we are, our karmic past and our soul's intentions, can not only assist us in having mercy on ourselves but having compassion for others.  Let's all go forward together and create a happy new year! This week's song is "Shine On You Crazy Diamond!" https://youtu.be/lKJ8n8xYd-Q?si=Cs1_whVAOLi892AeSo Much Love,Kaypacha

Episode 299 - "Power Words: Choosing the Language That Shapes Your 2026"As the year turns, many of us rush toward resolutions that feel heavy, rigid, or doomed by February. In this episode, Michelle and Scott take a different path—one rooted in clarity, intention, and self-trust. Instead of goals, we explore power words: simple, resonant words that act as anchors for how you want to live, respond, and move through the year ahead. Words that shape your mindset, guide your choices, and help you return to yourself when life gets loud. They talk about the psychology behind why words matter, how language influences behavior and identity, and why choosing the right word can be more powerful than any to-do list. You'll then be guided through a reflective exercise to discover your own personal power word (or words) for 2026—words that feel true, spacious, and alive. No pressure. No perfection. Just intentional language for the year you're becoming.Keeping Your Sh*t Together in a Stressed World is a podcast hosted by Michelle Post, MA, LMFT and Scott Grossberg, JD, CLC, CCH, NLP, and is 30 minutes of raw, irreverent, and results-oriented discussion with one purpose in mind . . . to help you cope, thrive, and survive the craziness that's going on in the world.

Episode 298 - "Rituals of Light"When the days grow shorter and the world feels heavier, many of us instinctively search for light—comfort, meaning, reassurance that we're not alone in the dark. In this episode, Michelle and Scott explore the timeless human practice of creating light when circumstances feel uncertain, overwhelming, or painful. Across cultures and centuries, people have marked the darkest days of the year with rituals—candles, fire, stories, gatherings—not to deny the darkness, but to coexist with it. They talk about why these rituals matter psychologically and emotionally, how they help regulate the nervous system, and how small acts of intention can restore a sense of grounding, hope, and connection when the outside world feels chaotic. This episode is an invitation to slow down, soften, and remember that light doesn't have to be loud to be powerful. Sometimes, it's enough to tend a small flame—within yourself and for one another.Keeping Your Sh*t Together in a Stressed World is a podcast hosted by Michelle Post, MA, LMFT and Scott Grossberg, JD, CLC, CCH, NLP, and is 30 minutes of raw, irreverent, and results-oriented discussion with one purpose in mind . . . to help you cope, thrive, and survive the craziness that's going on in the world.

Episode 296 - "Love Without Losing Yourself"Love can be beautiful. Love can be transformative. But sometimes — love can make us disappear. In this episode, Michelle and Scott dive into what happens when deep connection slowly shifts into self-abandonment. When caring for someone becomes caretaking . . . when partnership becomes over-merging . . . when we wake up and realize we've lost our voice, our boundaries, or the rituals that make us "us." They explore how to stay rooted in your identity while still opening your heart and talk about attachment styles, emotional enmeshment, and why “compromise” should never mean erasing yourself. You'll learn how to keep your autonomy intact, communicate needs without guilt, and build love that strengthens who you are — not just who you are to someone else. Because the healthiest relationships aren't the ones where you melt into each other . . . they're the ones where you both get to stay whole.Keeping Your Sh*t Together in a Stressed World is a podcast hosted by Michelle Post, MA, LMFT and Scott Grossberg, JD, CLC, CCH, NLP, and is 30 minutes of raw, irreverent, and results-oriented discussion with one purpose in mind . . . to help you cope, thrive, and survive the craziness that's going on in the world.

Episode 295 - "When You're the Emotional Container for Everyone"Some of us don't just support others — we absorb them. We're the sounding boards, the counselors, the late-night texters, the “I'll be there” people. We're the emotional containers: the ones who catch every feeling, soothe every storm, and hold everyone else's chaos together… while quietly falling apart inside. In this episode, Michelle and Scott explore what happens when you become the emotional container for everyone in your life — your family, your partner, your workplace, your friends. If you've ever been the strong one, the steady one, the fixer, the empath, the “call me any time” person . . . this episode is permission to put the container down and finally breathe. Episode 294 - "Micro-Gratitude"Big gratitude gets all the attention — vision boards, journals, grand declarations. But sometimes, the most powerful shifts come from the smallest thank-yous. In this episode, Michelle and Scott explore micro-gratitude — the subtle, moment-by-moment practice of noticing what's good right now. They'll talk about how micro-gratitude rewires your brain for resilience, lowers stress, and builds emotional momentum when life feels heavy. You'll learn how to weave appreciation into the tiniest corners of your day — your first sip of coffee, a stranger's kindness, and the silence between tasks. Because gratitude doesn't have to be big to be transformative. It just has to be real—and repeated.Keeping Your Sh*t Together in a Stressed World is a podcast hosted by Michelle Post, MA, LMFT and Scott Grossberg, JD, CLC, CCH, NLP, and is 30 minutes of raw, irreverent, and results-oriented discussion with one purpose in mind . . . to help you cope, thrive, and survive the craziness that's going on in the world.

In this episode of Risk! Engineers Talk Governance, due diligence engineers Richard Robinson and Gaye Francis break down the concept of SFAIRP "So Far As Is Reasonably Practicable" into three key parts: "So Far", "As Is", and "Reasonably Practicable".This was one of their key take-aways from their recent Live Forum where lawyer Joseph Coleiro articulated the following:"So Far" refers to the notion of doing as much as possible to address a risk, rather than just meeting a target level of risk."As Is" refers to the information and circumstances available at the time a decision is made, rather than considering hindsight."Reasonably Practicable" is defined in legislation, considering the likelihood and degree of harm, what is known about the risk, the availability and suitability of controls, and the cost associated with implementing those controls. The discussion details a legal case where an organisation was prosecuted for failing to implement various risk controls, demonstrating that negligence often arises from unimplemented, insufficient, or failed precautions.Overall, the key is to break down SFAIRP into these three distinct elements and to not leave out any part, especially when it is fully defined in the Legislation or Act. For further information on Richard and Gaye's consulting work with R2A, head to https://www.r2a.com.au, where you'll also find their booklets (store) and a sign-up for their quarterly newsletter to keep informed of their latest news and events. Gaye is also founder of Australian women's safety workwear company Apto PPE https://www.aptoppe.com.au.

Episode 293 - "Repairing What's Frayed - How to Rebuild Connections"In a world that moves fast and forgets easily, we all have parts of our lives that have come undone — relationships, routines, or pieces of ourselves we've set aside in the rush to keep going. In this episode, Michelle and Scott talk about how to tend to what's frayed — how to revisit the places in your life that need mending without judgment or shame. From strained relationships to fractured trust, from burnout to broken routines, repair is not about pretending nothing happened. It's about choosing to care again. Through self-reflection, boundaries, and compassion, they explore how the Japanese art of kintsugi — mending cracks with gold — teaches us to honor our scars as part of our strength. Because sometimes, what's been broken isn't ruined. It's just waiting to become something more beautiful.Keeping Your Sh*t Together in a Stressed World is a podcast hosted by Michelle Post, MA, LMFT and Scott Grossberg, JD, CLC, CCH, NLP, and is 30 minutes of raw, irreverent, and results-oriented discussion with one purpose in mind . . . to help you cope, thrive, and survive the craziness that's going on in the world.

Episode 290 - "The Masks We Wear: What Halloween Teaches Us About Identity"Every Halloween, we put on masks—but what about the ones we wear every day? In this episode, Michelle and Scott dive into the fascinating psychology of identity, authenticity, and the roles we play. Si me desean comunicar:tdeely7352@hotmail.com

In this episode, Michelle and Scott dive into the power of boundaries as clarity and compassion. Saying “no” isn't rejection; it's an act of honesty that creates safer, healthier spaces for both you and the people you care about. Together, they explore why boundaries are essential for emotional well-being, how to set them without guilt, and why honoring your limits is one of the most loving things you can do—for yourself and others.Keeping Your Sh*t Together in a Stressed World is a podcast hosted by Michelle Post, MA, LMFT and Scott Grossberg, JD, CLC, CCH, NLP, and is 30 minutes of raw, irreverent, and results-oriented discussion with one purpose in mind . . . to help you cope, thrive, and survive the craziness that's going on in the world.

Episode 283 - "The Labor of Identity: Who Are You Beyond Work?"Work takes up a huge part of our lives—but it was never meant to define our entire identity. Too often, we confuse our job title with our worth and measure our lives against the myth that passion-driven work should feel effortless and fulfilling all the time. In this episode, Michelle and Scott dismantle the idea that your career is the sum total of who you are. They talk about how the “find your passion and you'll never work a day in your life” narrative can actually set you up for burnout and disappointment—and why your true identity is so much richer than your resume. Instead, they explore a healthier, more expansive vision of fulfillment: one that comes not just from work, but from creativity, relationships, service, play, and the parts of yourself that have nothing to do with a paycheck. Because you are not your job. You are something far greater.Keeping Your Sh*t Together in a Stressed World is a podcast hosted by Michelle Post, MA, LMFT and Scott Grossberg, JD, CLC, CCH, NLP, and is 30 minutes of raw, irreverent, and results-oriented discussion with one purpose in mind . . . to help you cope, thrive, and survive the craziness that's going on in the world.

The eleven years that passed between the 1943 and the 1954 elections were arguably some of the most pivotal in Australian history. This was a period of intense political, policy and strategic transition, which saw a popular Labor Government and its state-led vision for post-war reconstruction toppled by Robert Menzies and his newly formed political machine, the Liberal Party of Australia. Meanwhile, a backdrop of rising Cold War tensions came to dominate domestic and international policymaking, ushering in a divisive communist party ban, the ANZUS treaty, the Colombo Plan, and Australia's own agency of international espionage, ASIS. But what was the difference in practical terms between Menzies and his predecessors? What role was the state to play under a centre-right government, and would Menzies be able to live up to the liberal ideals with which he had won over the Australian public All these issues are explored in The Menzies Watershed: Liberalism, Anti-Communism, Continuities 1943-1954 (Melbourne UP, 2023), the second of a four-volume history of Menzies and his world, based on conferences convened by the Robert Menzies Institute at the University of Melbourne. Five days, five mixes. RA.999 launches with two of the 2020's most exciting techno producers tearing a portal to the future. When it comes to purveyors of contemporary hardgroove, it's hard to top 1morning and Regal86. The duo have emerged from a buzzy, and decidedly funk-oriented techno scene on the American West Coast, repping Los Angeles and Monterrey respectively. Bound by a shared love of old-school flair and intuition behind the decks, you'll often find Regal86 ditching headphones altogether in favour of studying waveforms in real time, while 1morning's vinyl-only sets are steered by the movements of the dance floor and the fire in his heart. So it comes as no surprise that we had to invite them back in session. In the last week before we celebrate the 1000th RA Podcast, we'll drop five back-to-backs over the course of the week. From the NYC Downlow to Berlin's Bar25, what unifies this cohort is a sense that they capture where dance music has been—and crucially, where it's going. Kicking off the week, we have this exclusive recording from the duo's co-headline show at New York's Bossa Nova Civic Club—the "extra special" final stop of their recent US tour. As the first instalment of RA.999, this one-hour set makes a strong case for what it means to achieve ultimate freedom in the booth. Regal86 and 1morning might be known for their raw, swung techno explorations, but here, their more sensual leanings carry the most impact. You'll find hardgroove's very own daddy Ben Sims, Paul Mac's 2002 melodic beauty Struggling Event and the lavish stomp of Percy X's As Is. And, of course, it wouldn't be a Regal86 and 1morning linkup without a healthy dose of Mexico City rising star—and the former's frequent sparring partner—1OO1O. But really, this mix proves just how perceptive the two are. It opens a portal into the beating heart of groove-first techno, masterfully flowing between impulse and restraint, tradition and modernity. And who are we to resist? @bregal86 @1morning Find the tracklist and interview at ra.co/podcast/1004

ITSPmagazine Weekly Update | From AI Agents to Tape Mixes, to Guitars and Black Hat Buzzwords and much more with Marco & Sean's Random & Unscripted Podcast ⸻ In this weekly unscripted update, Marco Ciappelli and Sean Martin catch up on their latest stories, from AI agents replacing SOC analysts to mixtape nostalgia and vintage guitars made from NYC history. They also tease big things coming at Black Hat USA and reflect on why collaboration is core to ITSPmagazine. ⸻ In this week's Random and Unscripted episode, Marco Ciappelli and Sean Martin return with another lively behind-the-scenes update from the ITSPmagazine world. As always, the conversation flows unpredictably—from music and nostalgia to cybersecurity, AI, and everything in between. Marco kicks off the episode by confessing he saw ASIS live—twice—and is now on a mission for the perfect mod haircut. Sean follows with an unexpected review of an avant-garde opera at Lincoln Center, which explores humanity's attempt to extend life through technology. That sets the stage for deeper reflection on AI, with both co-founders digging into the role of AI agents in cybersecurity operations. Sean recaps his recent contributor-led newsletters on threat intelligence and AI-powered SOC roles. Marco, meanwhile, teases the next chapter in his “Robbie the Robot” newsletter series, which will explore the merger of humans and machines. The episode also spotlights a series of published interviews: a brand story with Greg and John from White Knight Labs, Marco's conversation with Ken Munro wrapping up Infosecurity Europe 2025, and an episode with Abadesi from the Women in Cybersecurity track—discussing how diverse teams build better tech. Sean also drops new Music Evolves episodes, including a conversation with Summer McCoy of the Mixtape Museum and a new story on Carmine Guitars, where vintage NYC wood is repurposed into one-of-a-kind instruments. That sparks a philosophical reflection from Marco on the contrast between analog warmth and digital impermanence. As the episode winds down, Marco and Sean turn their attention to Black Hat USA 2025. With sponsorships nearly sold out, they encourage companies to claim one of the last remaining spots. They also preview an upcoming live webinar where they'll debate the event's inevitable buzzwords with industry peers. As always, the tone is informal, curious, and community-driven. If you want the inside scoop on what's shaping the stories and strategies at ITSPmagazine—this is the episode to hear. ⸻ Keywords: cybersecurity, AI agents, threat intelligence, SOC analyst, mixtape museum, custom guitars, Black Hat USA 2025, ITSPmagazine, analog vs digital, diversity in tech, robotic automation, newsletter strategy, editorial collaboration, pen testing, brand storytelling, tech culture, cybersecurity events, operational technology, digital transformation, music and techHosts links:

When you enter the great hall of the Thomas Jefferson building at the Library of Congress in Washington, the first exhibit you will be facing is their Gutenberg Bible. And it is one of the finest Gutenberg bibles around, one of only three surviving pristine copies on vellum. This was the kind of bible that was so expensive to produce, it bankrupted Gutenberg. When the Library of Congress bought it in 1930, they paid $375,000, roughly $7.5m in today's money. But this is not the most expensive piece in the library's collection. That would a work by two Germans, Martin Waldseemüller and Matthias Ringmann. And it is not even a book, but a map. Not a small map, it is 2.3m or 91 inches wide and 1.3m or 50 inches tall. And this map, printed in 1507 claimed to be:A DESCRIPTION OF THE WHOLE WORLD ON BOTHA GLOBE AND A FLAT SURFACE WITH THE INSERTIONOF THOSE LANDS UNKNOWN TO PTOLEMYDISCOVERED BY RECENT MENAnd the authors wrote that the three continents known since antiquity, Europe, Africa and Asis, quote "have in fact now been more widely explored, and a fourth part has been discovered by Amerigo Vespucci (as will be heard in what follows). Since both Asia and Africa received their names from women, I do not see why anyone should rightly prevent this [new part] from being called Amerigen—the land of Amerigo, as it were—or America, after its discoverer, Americus, a man of perceptive character." End quote. This fourth part, they said was “surrounded on all sides by the ocean”. And indeed, in the left lower corner we find a fourth continent, a thin, stretched thing, with few place names and a western shore that hints at the Peruvian bulge, unmistakably, South America and then to north of it a very indistinguishable blob of land. This map, proudly displayed as America's Birth Certificate, is full of the most intriguing mysteries. How did Waldseemüller and Ringmann know that the Americas had a western shore, when it was only in 1513, 6 years later, that a European first glanced the Pacific? How did the name America stick though Amerigo Vespucci had neverled an expedition, not even commanded a ship? But most of all, why was this first map of America drawn not by a Spanish or Portuguese navigator, but by two Germans in the employ of the duke of Lorraine, working in St. Die, which is as far away from the sea as one can get in Western Europe. And then, more generally, what did the Germans have to do with the discoveries, the maps and globes that told the world about them? That is what we will explore in this episode. The music for the show is Flute Sonata in E-flat major, H.545 by Carl Phillip Emmanuel Bach (or some claim it as BWV 1031 Johann Sebastian Bach) performed and arranged by Michel Rondeau under Common Creative Licence 3.0.As always:Homepage with maps, photos, transcripts and blog: www.historyofthegermans.comIf you wish to support the show go to: Support • History of the Germans PodcastFacebook: @HOTGPod Threads: @history_of_the_germans_podcastBluesky: @hotgpod.bsky.socialInstagram:
