The season is coming to heated conclusion as we go into the week of the men's UEFA Champions League Final! But before we touch on anything soccer related, we have a special conversation regarding the shootings in Uvalde, TX, which saw (so far) 19 children and 2 teachers killed. Coming so quickly following the shootings in Buffalo, we give some raw emotions and thoughts coming to terms with a crisis that so many are fighting to do nothing to fix. We encourage everyone in The Culture to contact their Senators (including those running for Senate) to push forward with H.R. 8. We pivot into discussing the final weekend of the Premier League season that saw Man City come back against Aston Villa and stop Liverpool's quadruple to claim their 4th Premier League title in 5 years, and also Arsenal drop out of the top 4 (to Spurs of all teams), Leeds and Everton escape relegation and a far too early look into what's to come this summer. In the 2nd Half, we recap the Women's Champions League Final where Lyon reclaimed their spot atop Europe, beating the reigning champs Barcelona, including a wonder goal by Amadine Henry and our own Catarina Macario! We then preview the men's Final coming this Saturday between 13-time Champions Real Madrid and 6-time champs Liverpool. Following compelling domestic and European campaigns, we give our thoughts on who will will run hot in Paris and give our predictions for the Final. Real can finish the season off on a high note and bounce back from the news of Kylian Mbappe's sudden u-turn, choosing to stay at PSG where he will get an incredible €600 Million in the next 3 years! We debate on PSG will be able to succeed in Europe with this new deal and is this the end of Real's chase, and in 2UP/2Down we go discuss Tim Anderson, AC Milan, NIL, and more!! What an end to the Premier League season! Brendan Dunlop, James Sharman, Craig Forrest and Jimmy Brennan recap a dramatic final weekend in England that saw Manchester City come back from being 2-0 down to beat Aston Villa and lift the Premier League trophy for a fourth time in five years, putting an end to Liverpool‘s quadruple dreams. Burnley's time in the top flight has come to an end, as Leeds United stay up instead. Tottenham finished fourth place, denying Arsenal Champions League action next season. And the Women's Champions League Final was one for the ages as CanWNT star Kadeisha Buchanan adds a fifth European crown to her trophy cabinet with Lyon's upset over Barcelona. The boys react to Kylian Mbappé re-signing with PSG, and go down a strange road of sports movies they should review and musical artists they wish they could see perform.
