Forest ended the year with a disappointing and flat performance against Everton, just a few weeks after putting in a disappointing and flat performance against Everton. The visitors let Forest have the lion's share of possession, but the Reds were often outmuscled and struggled to penetrate the Toffees' rearguard, despite getting around the full-backs and playing plenty of crosses. With three defeats in a row and tough fixtures to come, we review this game but also ask questions about whether recent optimism was misplaced, and whether Forest really are in a relegation battle. What a win for the Toffees! Les, Rob and John react to a huge win for Everton at Nottingham Forest.
Can Forest move away from the relegation zone and get a win against Dyche's old team? Check out FFTV Merch! Click Here: https://forestfantv.com/ It is a massive midweek clash at the City Ground as Nottingham Forest welcome Everton for a high-stakes Premier League encounter. After a heartbreaking and controversial 1-2 defeat to Manchester City, the big question is: can the Reds channel that frustration into a winning performance? Despite the loss, the display against the champions was arguably our best under Sean Dyche, and a repeat of that grit and quality is exactly what's needed to secure three points and pull us further away from the relegation zone. Sitting in 17th, this is a "six-pointer" that could define our momentum heading into the New Year. Wolfie is in the hot seat to dissect the potential starting XI and the latest team news coming out of the Forest camp. With Ibrahim Sangaré away at AFCON and Ryan Yates a major doubt, will we see an unchanged midfield from the City game, or is it finally time for Bakwa to get his chance from the start? We also look at the fitness of Chris Wood and whether Dyche will stick with Igor Jesus to lead the line after his tireless work rate last time out. Getting the lineup right is crucial, especially against an Everton side that looks solid under David Moyes and already beat us 3-0 just a few weeks ago at their new stadium. This match carries extra weight for the gaffer, as Sean Dyche faces his former club once again. After the miserable 3-0 defeat on Merseyside in early December, there is a huge element of "revenge" in the air at the City Ground. We need the fans to be the 12th man and ensure the atmosphere is hostile from the first whistle to the last. Jump into the comments and let us know your score predictions—can we get the win we desperately need, or will the Toffees do the double over us? #nffc #everton #nottinghamforest Learn more about your ad choices. Andrew Greaves and Chris Boden sit down to look at Burnley's 0-0 draw with Everton. There were plenty of positives but one, recurring, negative as chances were squandered against a Toffees' side there for the taking!

On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Everton fan Sean Norton and Arsenal fan Adam Pritchard to preview Saturday's GW16 meeting between the clubs on Merseyside. The Toffees have been performing well under David Moyes but now have key personnel departing on international duty and attackers carrying injuries. The league leaders have had injuries too, especially defensively and they have only 1 clean sheet in 6 games having kept 7 in their first 10. Are they in urgent need of Gabriel's return with Manchester City now close behind in the table? All the key FPL assets covered including defenders from both clubs, what impact the returns of Gabriel and Jarrad Branthwaite could have, plsu coverage on the Arsenal attackers including Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka and why the best Everton attacker over a period that has some great fixtures might be someone who isn't in their first choice eleven... Adam, Paul and Lyndon are back to discuss Everton's 2-0 at Stamford Bridge where the loss to injury of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall compounded what was already a difficult task on a ground where the Toffees haven't won since 1994. They discuss the impact of KDH's absence, not only that game but, potentially, against Arsenal at the weekend, sloppiness off the ball that ushered Chelsea in for their two goals and some poor execution at the other end. Finally, this week's round of "Chat EFC" throws up a memorable classic at Goodison Park from 2017. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Ending three hexes in three weeks wasn't doable for Everton. Stamford Bridge remains the least happiest of all their Premier League hunting grounds. Matt and Paddy assess some of the collateral damage from that defeat. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Jack Grealish have picked up injuries at the worst possible time for the Toffees, with Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gueye now off to Africa Cup of the Nations. We take a closer look at Tyler Dibling's peculiar situation ahead of what will be a big month for him and look at James Garner's contract situation after he and Moyes played down rumours an agreement was imminent. It was back down to earth with a bump for the Toffees in a very familiar feeling defeat at Chelsea, where Everton rolled out all the hits – played really well in spells, just lacked a cutting edge, conceded against the run of play, the lot. Are we expecting too much from Everton? Where did it go wrong against Chelsea? And how do the Toffees line up against Arsenal, given the lack of midfield options?
Äs isch schön, bisch dü da ! Heute, ja nach der Begegnung von Gestern. Wie fühle ich mich? Herrlich angetan ! So schön. ! Werden wir uns wiedersehen ? Verliebt ! Verliebt ? Ich ? A Schmetterling im Neuschnee. Ob sie mir beim Suchen helfen können? Merci- nu so gäru. So Komplimente verteilen? Background Sound by Marci Loisach. Ich suechu dich - by Polo Hofer

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Broadcaster Russ Williams, Jason McGovern and Adam Osper as a terrific away performance saw us become the first away team to win at Everton's new Hill Dickinson Stadium following a commanding 3-0 victory on Sunday afternoon. Superb in all areas of the pitch, we were particularly strong at the back as the home side bombarded us with plenty of crosses with Kevin Danso and Micky van de Ven excellent in the heart of our defence, while our Dutch skipper also chipped in with two first-half goals to lay the foundations for the victory. He headed home from close range from two corners as we made our set-pieces pay, giving us a two-goal advantage at the break, while Everton had a goal ruled out after a VAR intervention with the score at 1-0. After the break, we kept out everything the Toffees could throw at us with Guglielmo Vicario making some excellent saves, before securing the three points with a late Pape Matar Sarr header, the win seeing us climb up to third in the Premier League table – we are the only team to remain unbeaten away from home in the division so far this season. It's been more than 300 episodes since we last talked about the brilliant Jack Grealish, and wow, a lot has happened since then. In this episode, we catch up on all things Grealish, from his history-making treble-winning season with Manchester City to his headline-grabbing move to Everton in 2025. We'll relive the highs of that incredible 2022–23 campaign, when Jack helped City win the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League, becoming a true Manchester City hero. We'll talk about that goal at the Emirates that helped topple Arsenal in the title race, his emotional post-final interviews, and those now-legendary celebrations (yes, we're talking high-vis jackets, Oasis singalongs, and possibly the best hangover in football history!). Then it's on to 2024–25, when injuries and competition for places saw Grealish's game time drop — but also when he reminded everyone of his quality with key goals and classy performances. And finally, we dive into his blockbuster loan move to Everton, his instant impact in the Toffees' attack, and how he's already topping the Premier League assists chart. This is an episode packed with football drama, inspiration, and a good laugh along the way. Whether you're a Manchester City fan, an Evertonian, or just someone who loves the beautiful game, you won't want to miss this one.
With points being dropped, red cards being shown and injury hitting their lethal strike partnership, Everton's dreams looked to be in serious jeopardy as Christmas 1984 approached. Step forward a fans favourite as the Toffees put their foot down towards the finishing line of a potential treble. Gary Naylor and Gavin Buckland return to guide Martyn through the conclusion of a historic campaign. We didn't know it at the time, but a winter win over Man City would be our last one to date against Pep Guardiola's side, not to mention the highlight of Tom Davies, Ademola Lookman, and Ronald Koeman's Everton careers. Come the Spring, Kevin Mirallas gets dropped, Ross Barkley gets flopped, and the tricky Toffees can't be stopped (unless it's an away game). This episode is in association with The Excelsior.
