This week is a huge topic for anyone these days—finding stability in a time of instability. For Solo parents, there are several factors in play … the first is working on surrender to God to allow His stability to enter our hearts and minds. The second is working on ourselves to be stable in our own feelings and emotions. The third is finding stability, not in trying to fill the void with another relationship, but rather to find support within a solid and supportive community. The shepherd turned king David certainly understood chaos in life—from his enemies, those around him, and even by his own hand. Let's begin our look at stability by going to our Source. Listen to David's words:Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge. (Psalm 62:5-8 NLT) As believers in and followers of Christ, just because the world around us shakes does not mean we have to. If we are in Him, then He holds us in His hands. He is our Hope. Our Rock. Our Fortress. Our Refuge.Listen once again to this passage in The Message Bible … What is making you feel unstable right now? Can you pinpoint the source of your instability?Whether your answer is one thing or everything, whether your feelings or your thoughts or your actions feel completely shaky, take the focus off the unstable things in and around you and focus on the One who is always stable. Imagine Him holding you now, like a Dad with a child in a storm. Just for this moment, take your eyes off what is shaking and place them on what is solid … Your Hope. Your Rock. Your Fortress. Your Refuge.Let's pray together: “Heavenly Father, I receive Your hope, I want to live with You as my Rock, My Fortress, my Refuge. My anxious thoughts, feelings, and emotions I give to You now. As above, so below.”

There are rocks that can be destroyed, but there is a rock, and if you allow Jesus Christ to be Your Rock of refuge. He will sustain and protect you always! Stay focused and steadfast on your journey. Much love!

How many cold-call opportunities have you wasted by pushing hard and fast to sell your company's product? Today's podcast guest, Bruce Lewolt, Founder of both JoyAI and Blast Learning, talks about a more caring and effective approach to selling. It starts with switching the goal of that initial call from selling your company's product to offering prospects a helping hand with a problem or goal they have. Imagine for a moment you're the prospect, and you've just been ambushed by a cold call: Who would you be willing to set an appointment with for a discovery meeting? A person blatantly trying to make a sale? Or a caring professional who understands your business' needs and wants? In this episode, our three well-reasoned and insightful sales professionals share many insights with our listeners about making a successful cold call, but the one you don't want to miss is this “aha!” moment. Your job is not selling your company's product: Your job is selling a discovery meeting. That should make the title of this week's Market Dominance Guys' podcast very clear: You're still selling something, but “Your Product Is the Meeting.” Listen to Bruce Lewolt's previous episodes in this series: EP137: What Do Your Prospects Really Hear? Ep138: Don't Get Lost in Your Rock 'n' Roll More episodes on the topic of Believing in the Meeting are here. About Our Guest Bruce Lewolt is Founder of Blast Learning, a service that uses Alexa or Google Assistant as an intelligent personal study assistant, resulting in a state-of-the-art study method that is not just effective but makes learning enjoyable. (See BlastLearning.com and BlastStudy.com) He is also the Founder of JOYai, the first emotionally intelligent and sales-savvy artificial intelligence system for salespeople, bringing intelligent automation to prospecting and selling.
Training and coaching are essential for the rookie cold caller, and that's an important part of the life work of today's guest, Bruce Lewolt, Founder of both JoyAI and Blast Learning. But, as our hosts, Chris Beall and Corey Frank, remind our podcast listeners, even the most experienced and successful cold callers also need coaching from time to time. They can suffer from an inadvertent tendency to drift away from the prescribed plan — the script, tonality, and emotion that they've been trained to use — one that generally elicits a prospect's response of “Sure! Tell me why you're calling.” Bruce agrees and says that sales directors need to listen to calls and give feedback and coaching to all salespeople on a consistent basis, because it's human nature to drift away from what you're taught to say and start doing what feels easier or more comfortable, or putting your own cool, personal stamp on it because that's the way you roll. It's not your call to make, so note the caution in today's Market Dominance Guys' title and “Don't Get Lost in Your Rock ‘n' Roll” and drift away. This morning episode is about the power of process. I argue that ALL successful things in our lives benefit from process. In fact, I would go as far to say that without process, most things would fail. Even the act of creating random things has a process. My hope is you're able to look at your life, apply a bit more of a process to certain areas and reap massive benefits! Your Rock!

Could your laundry room use a little facelift? Do you dread going in to do your laundry? Well, today we are going to change that! Let's talk about gorgeous laundry rooms that we aspire to! Today there is a big, big trend toward front load washers. Many front load washer and dryers have sit on a shelf with a drawer. So nice not to bend over to load and unload. Kelly has a fabulous washer and dryer, Miele. Check them out! They are amazing! Baskets are a great way to store items in a family room! Baskets also bring a lot of texture into a laundry room. See Yvonne's Functional and Fabulous Laundry Room reveal HERE. See Kelly's Laundry Room Mood Board HERE. If you don't have a table to fold laundry think about getting a fold-down table that sits parallel with the wall and then drops down. A drying rack hanging on the wall is a fabulous thing to have in a laundry room. See Yvonne's favorite HERE Be careful if you hang things in your laundry room that it doesn't become a closet of sorts. Put things away! Anita has a drain in her laundry room... so smart! A big glass jar to put clothespins or laundry detergent in is so charming. See Yvonne's favorite HERE. We all think that a place for a dog is a nice idea. How about putting in a dog wash station? Look on Pinterest for some great dog washing stations. If you have space in your laundry room put a utility sink with a faucet with a spray nozzle. You might need one if you paint or have animals. You might like a laundry basket on wheels. See a great one HERE. See Yvonne's 10 Best Items To Have In a Laundry Room HERE. See Yvonne's Best Dryer Balls Diy HERE. Happy St. Crispin's Day to all! SaintCast #29 profiles the North American Martyrs. In the first of 2 segments written by Kathy Couture, we look at the lives of the French Jesuits who left the comforts of home to evangelize in a hostile frontier, giving their lives in the process. We welcome the Technopriest to the SQPN line-up, and Fr. Bill Kessler makes an encore visit to the SaintCast. We caught up with him this last weekend to discuss Ignatius of Antioch, Hippolytus, and the early Church liturgy. And yes, another new segment. Well, a preview of a yet-to-be-named segment on Saint books. We welcome your suggestions, reviews, and comments on the SQPN news page at SQPN.com. Tom Serafin returns to discuss a planned boycott of EBAY to begin on All Saints Day, as the unlawful sale of holy relics continues on this site. A question on the identity of St. Anne, more Saints in the news, and listener feedback on this week's SaintCast. Songs from this episode . . .
