Super excited to announce that our podcast will be moving to the Paddle N' Fin Podcast Network starting next week! The Bass Kayak and Beers segment will available every Wednesday morning on all mayor podcast platforms, YouTube and the ANGLR app under Paddle N Fin. On this episode our featured angler of the week, Ben Adrien shares his knowledge on how to become adaptable. One of the keys to becoming a better angler is learning to be adaptable, whether it's a new body of water, changes in seasons or sudden changes in climate, being able to adapt is the difference between getting skunked or catching a limit. Ben has spent most of his life fishing and has 10 years of tournament experience finding success in lakes and river tournaments. He began fishing for stripers in Tennessee, later moved to Corpus Christi where he had no choice but to adapt to saltwater kayak fishing. Now living in Houston, he once again learned to adapt in order to grow as a kayak angler. Thank you again Adrien for sharing your knowledge and helping those who want to grow in this great sport. 

On this week's episode of The Reel Life I got the opportunity to talk to Ben Adrien. When it comes to kayak fishing this guy has been there, done that. From hunting down trophy striper on Tennessee rivers to catching sailfish in Florida, to competing in the KBF National Championship on a freaking paddle board (ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?). If it swims, it probably has nightmares of this guy. To top it all off this guy spends the majority of the day keeping our southern coast safe and secured.
