One of the biggest struggles that I hear Mamas say when I talk to them is that they feel SO overwhelmed. So many things to do, think about, and stay on top of, that it can become mentally exhausting to try to manage it all. ESPECIALLY when you add running a business into the mix. In this episode, I share with you the practical things I have been doing to in my own life as a new Mum to help me manage to show up as a present Mum while also running a multi-faceted business. I have kept this episode intentionally as practical as possible with zero fluff! So you can apply any of these tips to your own life straight away to start reducing the overwhelm you are feeling too. Don't feel alone, what you are experiencing is so common and hard to navigate, so let's navigate it together
Have you been getting caught up in all the talk happening at the moment on social media about "if only you can go viral on Tiktok then you will change your life". Everybody is obsessed with going viral. But I promise that isn't the key to changing your life. In this podcast episode, I talk about how going viral isn't what will grow a sustainable business and I break down for you what actually will. We set these major goals and checkmarks in our life and then go out and try to achieve them all at once and then fail almost instantly or just don't even take the steps forward because it is too overwhelming. Why do we do this over and over again... Our life has these up periods where we feel more motivated to achieve and plan and make progress. So then we try to “fix” all the areas of our life at once. Which is not realistic. So then when we fail or don't move forward from feeling overwhelmed we get more frustrated or disheartened because we are still exactly where we started! So then we give up because it's so heavy and so big and so far away. In this podcast episode, I chat about why we aren't moving forward in our life and share with you my framework that I apply to the areas of my life where I am wanting to grow. This framework has guided me in my life to create now what I am getting to live, which is my dream life! Set aside some me-time for you, you deserve it- and dive right in. I have seen a few posts on social media this past week of people saying that you NEED to block out 2 hours every morning for your morning routine if you want to have a successful business. And to be honest that concept is so unrelatable and unsustainable if you are a mum. Because you know what I am doing for the first two hours of my morning- I am feeding my kid, changing him, getting him ready for the day and playing with him. And that doesn't mean I can't have a successful business. If you can't do that as a mum, then you are going to feel like a failure and like you can't grow a successful business because you can't time block out your day or your week. In this episode, I talk all about what I used to do in my business before becoming a mum and why that doesn't work anymore. And what I actually do now so that I can do both motherhood and business together with less overwhelm. I would love to hear any tips that you have found help you run your business since becoming a mum. Head to my DM's to share them.
This podcast episode is juicy!! In this episode, I give you 10 SUPER practical tips to keep doing your social media when you are a busy Mum!!
One of the biggest problems with the online world right now is that we are building businesses that are impossible to sustain in all aspects of life. We put so much pressure on ourselves to always be 'ON' and energetic and showing up for our business because that is what we are being told we have to do to have a successful business. But what happens when you are feeling unmotivated about working on your business... and that leads to you feeling overwhelmed from all the things you want to do in your business, that you actually don't end up doing anything
Our Dream Life should guide us.

Our culture glorifies hustle and going 100km/h but what that generally leads to is us ending up somewhere where we actually don't want to be and this nearly always leads to burnout...

These are the signs that you might need stronger boundaries in your biz...
OVERWHELM IS HOLDING YOU BACK
It's time to build a business that you don't need a holiday from
Could you imagine...
A lot of the focus lately has been on Reels, where I think we have almost forgotten our stories! You might be thinking, well Amy, that's fine, because Reels are getting me all these views and comments, so I don't need to be doing stories right?! I'm sorry... but nope! Instagram stories are used for building loyalty and trust with the audience you already have so that they buy from you again and again. You can have a huge audience, but if you are not nurturing them and focusing on building relationships with them, then they won't buy. Wouldn't you prefer to have a smaller audience that is obsessed with your brand and actually BUYING??
