On FAFO Fridays, futurist Kwaku Aning joins Dan for a playful recap of the week in tech, including the amazing, the scary, and the strange. You'll also hear about innovations that too often get overshadowed by AI, including in deep tech, biotech, fintech, quantum computing, robotics, blockchain, and more.Across it all, you'll hear sharp takes on what comes next and what builders need to know now. So let's Future Around & Find Out together! FutureAround.com(Music by Jonathan Zalben)
With a new lieutenant governor candidate in the Democratic primary in Macon-Bibb official Seth Clark, Ron caught up with Georgia NOW reporter Jenna Eason to get the scoop. Jenna covered the region before at the Macon Telegraph and had interviewed Clark early in her career and offered her insights. Later, Ron connected with 25-year-old Adrian Consonery Jr., a first-time candidate running for Georgia Secretary of State, to talk voting access, election integrity, and why younger voters are stepping into the political arena earlier than ever.Second half of the show, Ron turns his focus back to the scene in Minneapolis that continues to divide the nation - though polling suggests the majority of us do see things similarly. While reading the AJC's Bill Torpy op/ed, Ron stopped midway to point out something crucial: watch Jonathan Ross' own video HERE. Notice as Ross' fingers appear as Renee Good's spouse, Becca encourages him to "go get yourself some lunch?" He's moving the phone he's using to record the video from his right hand to his left. He was freeing up his right hand to access his weapon then, and not while in harm's way in or near the front of the vehicle. Why? Even Atlanta-based right wing radio host Shelley Wynter found a vastly more reasoned voice than Kristi Noem or Donald Trump; the kind of voice needed in this fracas. Lastly, what if Democrats put together a 'shadow cabinet?' You know, like an "alternate universe" version of what the executive branch would look like were Democrats in control? Emory professor Rick Doner opines that's what's needed right now. Ron shares & chimes in, too. Tune in to catch the Ron Show weekdays from 4-6pm Eastern time on Georgia NOW! New year, new name. The Missions Podcast is now The Missions Show. Why the change? We're stepping into a video-first world. The show is now on NRBTV, with Lighthouse TV launching soon in central Pennsylvania. We've been on YouTube for some time, and this rebrand reflects a move beyond audio-only podcasting to serve a wider audience. What hasn't changed is the heart of the show. We'll keep the same format and the same purpose—answering hard questions in missiology, theology, and practice to help goers think and thinkers go. Thanks to everyone who's been with us since we launched in October 2017. We're grateful for the last eight years and excited for what's ahead.

Welcome back to Sherley's Show. If you've been wondering where I've been, what's been happening behind the scenes, or what's next, this post is your official update. It's been a minute, and for good reason. Over the last few years, life has shifted in ways I never expected. In November of 2022, I lost my brother. Six weeks later, I lost my aunt. Those losses changed everything for me, personally, emotionally, and creatively. What was meant to be a short break turned into a necessary hiatus as I allowed myself the space to grieve, heal, and regroup.
