When the battles of life are raging, it may seem as if darkness maintains the upper hand. But we know better than this! Stay the course and do not be fooled by the temptations and appeals of the wide road that leads to death.
We are all in the same boat. There are times that we lose our trust in Christ because we are afraid. Fear has a way of diminishing our faith but if we stay focused on Christ, our faith is always restored.
In this episode of the Endure It Podcast, we share some lessons learned when it comes to fighting against P.O.T.S. Christ himself is the great physician! We are never left without hope.

Thankfully, Christ provides His unwavering peace, as He is Lord over all storms.
Sooner or later, we all experience some form of suffering. In the book of Job, due to Satan's accusations against God, Job endures intense suffering in order to prove that a man can still serve God even when all that he has is taken away. Will we only accept the good from God and not the bad?
The beginning of a new year often helps remind us of our goals and our personal ambitions. It gives us a fresh start and a renewed perspective to reflect back over the past year as we embrace fresh opportunities to start over. Let us be reminded of the command that Christ has set before us to take up our cross daily and follow after Him.
Hebrews 3:13 tells us how beneficial it is for the body of Christ to encourage one another as long as it is called today. Encouragement is defined as "the action of giving someone support, confidence, or hope." May we not grow weary in well doing!
One day... and one day soon, it will all come full circle. We will be made complete.
The scriptures do a very good job of letting us know that trials and tribulations will come. It is not a matter of if but when. He assures us that we will be hated by all nations for His name's sake. Yikes. Hard words to hear. Jesus lovingly prepares us for hard times by taking the surprise element out of trials and suffering by warning us ahead of time.
A branch apart from a vine can't produce anything. Zilch. Nada. Nothing. Jesus teaches us in John chapter 15 that He is the one true all sustaining vine. Apart from Him, we can do nothing. NOTHING! It is crucial as "branches" that we abide in Him. Abide=fruit. Simple equation. Abide means to keep in fellowship with Christ so that His life can work in and through us in order to produce fruit! Let's produce fruit so that others can eat.
Like sand through the hourglass, our lives are only poured out once in this life. Training ourselves to focus on the here and now as well as placing value on every moment produces beautiful fruit over time. Finding peace in the fact that Jesus does indeed see us and care for us should empower our hearts to love well while we remain hopeful as we anticipate the afterlife.
We have all kinds of earthly longings. We long to see the highest mountain peaks. We long to explore the ocean depths. We long for beautiful relationships. We long for great food. We are made to have these longings. These earthly longings are but foreshadows pointing to the the greatest of all, our heavenly home.
The power of rest is often highly underestimated. Just like batteries, our bodies need time to recover and recharge. We will find ourselves feeling overwhelmed and exhausted throughout the seasons of this life. It is necessary to find rest physically and spiritually within the hope of the scriptures.
This world is full of uncertainty and always changing. There is only one thing that is constant and that is our God. He is the foundation under our ever shifting feet. He is the sustainer of the cosmos. He upholds the universe by the word of His power. Surely, He is more than able to hold us together in the midst of an ever changing planet.

Aren't you thankful that God provided us with the gift of laughter to help alliviate our heaviness? Laughter has been proven to lesson muscle tension, reduce stress hormones, and release the endorphins we need to "feel good." I can't think of a more enjoyable way to relieve stress!
In this episode, we talk about not bowing to the many different forms of oppositions that may arise in our life journeys. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did not bow to King Nebuchadnezzar's "selfie" idol. In so doing, they faced uncertain death but remained steadfast and confident in the fact that their God was more than capable of delivering them from a fiery death. They boldly proclaimed to the king that even if their God did not deliver them from the flames, they would not bow. In essence, they understood to live is Christ, to die is gain. Do we?
Many times in life we may find ourselves at an impasse much like the Israelites standing at the Red Sea. We look around and our situations may appear to be hopeless. Fear and panic begin to set in. This may provoke us to question God and wonder where He might be. It is in trials like these that our faith is put to the test. Despite what it may feel or look like, God is in complete control of every aspect of our lives and He desires to bring glory to Himself.
There are times in this life when we will feel as if we are being "sifted as wheat." We can find assurance in knowing that Christ, indeed, intercedes on our behalf so that our faith does not fail. For those in Christ, nothing on this planet can or ever will separate us from the love of God. Nothing. Not even the power of death. We can be encouraged in knowing that the Father is for us, Christ intercedes for us, and the Holy Spirit empowers us to live victoriously over sin!
Summer is officially upon us. That just means that the fall season is right around the corner! In this episode, we will talk about the possible health dangers that lurk in several of the plastic water bottles we drink from. On an encouraging note, let's remind ourselves of the critical importance of putting on the armor that God has provided daily in order for us to effectively be able to withstand the assaults of the enemy.
The most impactful event on planet Earth in all of human history was the moment that Jesus gave up His life on the cross. The moment He willingly gave up His life, the veil immediately ripped in half, providing access to God through the shedding of His own blood! Because of what Jesus accomplished on that bloody cross, in the midst of our darkest hour, we can run to the Father and find peace, strength, and renewed hope.
Four living creatures before His throne give uninteruppted worship to the Almighty in Heaven 24/7. They never stop declaring His holiness and His goodness. If we truly took the time to meditate on all of His goodness, we would join them as much as possible.
Many times in our lives, we encounter terrifying storms that tend to leave us forgetting that our God is still in control. He does not lose control or give up His power to the forces of nature or circumstances. Our trials have the ability to give us a deeper understanding of His powerful capabilities and faithfulness. Often times, His will sends us directly into difficult situations. In these moments, He is in full control, His glory is revealed, and our faith is deepened.
We can have peace in knowing that Jesus himself intercedes on our behalf in Heaven. Wow! How comforting it is to read this in the Scriptures. Because of what Christ has accomplished, we have been redeemed from darkness and He promises to work all things for our good and for His glory.
My sweet friend, Julie, shares her story of endurance and faith while journeying through a dark valley of pancreatic cancer and malabsorption. Her words of encouragement are a huge inspiration to us all, no matter what trial we may find ourselves in. She gracefully follows after Christ even in the midst of intense suffering and pain. Her beautiful family has rallied together and are facing this battle with a united front. You can follow Julie's journey by reading her blog at www. hiddenjewels.wordpress.com.
Could you imagine being "recalled" back to Earth after having died and spending four days in Heaven? This life is all about giving God glory and bringing glory to His name by the way we live our lives. We can be encouraged in knowing that Jesus will use whatever situation we may find ourselves in to glorify the name of the Lord.
It is not easy to deny self. We are made of flesh! However, He calls us to deny ourselves and take up our crosses and follow after Him. We can truly experience an inner transfiguration by reading His words and spending time in prayer.
When walking through difficult days, it is easy to get lost in the mundane of life. It seems as if we slip into lifeless "survival mode." His mercies are fresh every morning. It is imperative in our struggles, that we must train our minds and spirits to rely on His strength and His provision alone.
It can be challenging to keep our focus on Jesus when our circumstances temp us to fall into the trap of comparison. Jesus encourages us to follow after and stay focused on him, no matter what difficulties we face.
Even in our darkest moments of suffering, we can cling to the glorious truth that Jesus is, in fact, ALIVE. He promised us ahead of time that we would suffer. However, we can take heart and find pure joy in knowing that death has no power over Him. He shows compassion in the midst of our suffering and one glorious day soon, our suffering will end.
Out of His abundant kindness, God saved us! Be encouraged in knowing that you do not have to "measure up." Christ has done it all and we can simply lean into Him and trust Him.

Aspartame-to use or not to use. That is the question! Let's talk about possible side effects and healthier alternatives. On a better note, even when our trials in life attempt to shake us to our core, the Lord stands beside us. He has promised to never leave or abandon us.
A man, lame from BIRTH, laid at the gate Beautiful for most of his life. He lived on handouts and had to be carried by others. His life was completely changed when two disciples came walking by. The beggar anticipated a handout but what he truly needed was much more than that. We can be encouraged in knowing that Jesus is more than capable of doing the impossible in any situation.
In Bibilical days, Leprosy was a death sentence. One would have to endure the remainder of his life in isolation and misery as multiple areas of the body began to wither, die, and detach. Even in the midst of a hopeless health situation, we read that Jesus showed compassion and offered a complete reversal to a grim death sentence all because of an individual's FAITH.Â
Death is a very large part of being human. We will all face it some way some how (unless we see His return). For those who believe, it is the doorway to our eternal home. We are given the most precious gift here on this planet-TIME. Let's make the most of every minute while there is still breath in our lungs. It is moving much quicker than we think!
Many times in life the storms we encounter can seem as if they will last indefinitely. The pounding of the waves and the relentless winds of difficulties can attempt to drain us of any and all hope. God shows his faithfulness even in the most darkest of nights. We never know who may need us to fight on through to the other side so that we can bring healing or hope to them in their situation. The winds may have their way with us but God remains master of the storm.
It feels good to be in a brand new year. Rest assured, many trials and victories await us. Our goal is to keep moving in the right direction when it comes to improving our health. Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) can be harmful to our health. It is important to due research and find ways to reduce or limit this flavor enhancer from within our diets. Making good decisions/changes requires discipline! It isn't always easy but it is worth it in the long run. My sweet niece joins me in this episode as my co-host in training. We enjoyed some good laughs. Happy New Year!
Be encouraged in knowing that no matter how hard we fall Jesus promises that, when we turn to Him, He will cleanse us and equip us to bring healing and deliverance to others. He advises us to master sin so that we are not overtaken by its craftiness and led astray. We must answer the call and GO.
in this episode, we will chat about Christmas traditions, stories of forgiveness, and the importance of counting the cost of following after Christ. Let's let go of whatever it is that slows us down and run with endurance the RACE and course that is laid out before us. The new year presents us with a fresh start and a clean slate as we march into a brand new year. Let's get ready!
Jesus calls us to be the salt and light of the Earth-what a sacred privilege! Salt rocks were used in biblical days to preserve food. Likewise, Jesus calls us to impact and "preserve" the culture around us. May we repent and run into this new year with fresh fervor and fire for the work of the kingdom.
Merry Christmas! Christ came to Earth and brought us everlasting unshakable hope. We will never walk in utter darkness again. He has come to set us free with His LIGHT.
Be encouraged! Our God is more than able to deliver us. Even in the midst of immense darkness, He sustains us with His peace.
Let's gear up for the new year by making a decision to make positive changes next year. Be sure and write them down and focus on them often. Medical tests and procedures are often times necessary. However, it is still imperative to do your own research and consider the risks. MRI contrast-one type known as Gadolinium-can have serious side effects. Proceed with caution and wisdom.
Even in the midst of the most raging trial, we can stand firm knowing the our God stands with us and upholds us.
Leaky Gut Syndrome is a real health issue. Symptoms can include brain fog, body aches, nausea, and malabsorption issues to name a few. The leak can be fixed and repaired-this is good news! In this episode, I will share what I have learned from my experience. On the contrary, there are times in our spiritual walks when we experience depression, resentment, or anguish due to circumstances out of our control. In these seasons, it is imperative that we seek the Lord and allow our spirits to "leak out" before Him. He will comfort us in our weaknesses.
