Psalm 78 ultimately leads us to Jesus, the true and greater Shepherd who secures what generations of God's people never could through their own faithfulness. Where Israel forgot and we drift, Christ remains perfectly faithful, acting first to seek, save, and hold us fast by grace rather than performance. Because our hope rests in Him—not our consistency—we can pursue faithfulness and pass it on to the next generation from a place of deep security, knowing the Shepherd who began the work will carry it to completion.
We continue with how important it is to keep focused.

Bitcoin has plunged below $80,000, kicking off a broader wave of selling as uncertainty ripples through global markets. What started as a crypto move quickly spread into other asset classes, with precious metals, equities, and derivatives all feeling the pressure as leverage unwinds and liquidity tightens. In this livestream, we break down what's driving the crash, why correlations spike during moments of real stress, and whether this is a temporary volatility flush or the early stages of a deeper, cross-market reset fueled by macro risk and policy uncertainty.

Psalm 78 exposes a repeated cycle where God acts, people forget, sin persists, and yet God responds with compassion—revealing that our deepest problem isn't our circumstances but our unchanged hearts. Even discipline, miracles, and God's gifts cannot break the cycle when the heart remains the same, leading to spiritual drift and faith passed on without transformation. The hope Psalm 78 points toward is fulfilled in Jesus, the true Exodus and presence of God, who rescues us and gives us new hearts by His Spirit, changing not just us but generations to come.
Bitcoin, gold, and silver are all breaking down at the same time, sending a clear warning signal across global markets. In this video, we unpack why traditional safe havens and digital assets are selling off together, what this synchronized move says about liquidity stress, macro fear, and forced positioning, and why correlations tend to spike during moments of real market pressure. Is this a temporary flush driven by leverage and headlines—or the early signs of a deeper reset across hard assets? We break down what matters, what doesn't, and what to watch next as volatility accelerates.

What if your greatest season with God isn't behind you but still ahead? In this episode of the Harvest Focus, we begin our Miracles of Jesus series by looking at His very first sign: the turning of water into wine at the wedding in Cana. From John 2:10, “You have kept the good wine until now”, we discover a powerful truth about the nature of Jesus and the direction of life with Him.This episode explores how Jesus cares deeply about ordinary people and everyday moments, how He came not to diminish life but to transform it, and how His work is marked by abundance, growth, and ever-increasing fulfillment. Far from offering His best at the beginning and leaving us with less, Jesus reveals a life that continually moves toward something better. If you've ever wondered whether joy fades, faith plateaus, or hope diminishes over time, this episode offers a fresh reminder: with Jesus, the best is yet to come.Pastor Seth Wilkerson"The Jesus Miracle Series" (Lesson 1)

In Psalm 78:9–32, God exposes a generational pattern of forgetfulness that distorts His character, replaces trust with demands, and hardens hearts into rebellion. Israel's failure wasn't a lack of evidence—God acted powerfully again and again—but a failure of trust that led them to question His goodness and redefine Him on their own terms. Even when God gave them exactly what they demanded, their hearts did not change, revealing that the problem was not circumstances or memory but covenant failure. Psalm 78 ultimately points beyond Israel—and beyond us—to the need for a faithful representative. Where God's people forget, test, and rebel, Jesus remembers, trusts, and obeys. As the true Son, Christ succeeds where Israel failed and bears the judgment our forgetfulness deserves, breaking the cycle once and for all. The Christian life, then, is not sustained by our ability to remember God, but by the grace that God remembers us and has given His Son for us.

In Psalm 78, God calls His people to generational faithfulness—a way of life rooted in remembering His past faithfulness, living with intentional presence today, and passing on a bold, grace-filled faith to those yet to come. As we reflect on the stories of those who came before us, we are reminded that forgetfulness is the great danger of God's people, but remembrance fuels faith. God invites us to build our lives not merely for the next season, but for generations unborn, trusting that our everyday obedience matters in His unfolding story. Though this calling can feel overwhelming, our hope is not in our own faithfulness but in Jesus Christ—the perfectly faithful One—who bore our failures, secured our salvation, and now empowers us by His Spirit to live lives that echo into the future for the glory of God.
Back in the day Donald Trump promised America that if we elected him president we'd grow TIRED of all the winning. And, man, HAS HE DELIVERED. In fact, President Trump arguably delivered MORE WINS for AMERICA JUST YESTERDAY ALONE than President Joe “autopen dementia” Biden delivered in four years—of course, the purpose of Biden's presidency was NOT America's interests, and it shows. That said, the single greatest vulnerabilities of America remain unsecured—although Trump is making the right moves in that direction, too.

Immigration enforcement is the dominant focus of Donald Trump's second term. He promised to get tough, and he has. Many who voted for him because this issue was important to them believed he would mainly crack down on criminal aliens. On today's episode, host Shikha Dalmia and guest David Bier of the Cato Institute dismantle that illusion. They discuss how in his second term, Trump has launched an all-out assault on all immigrants: Illegal and legal. Undocumented and documented. Criminals and law-abiding ones. Moreover, Trump is going about immigration enforcement in an unimaginably cruel and indiscriminate way. He is engaging in mass arrests without due process, sweeping in citizens as well as immigrants. They point out how things are only going to get worse going forward as an agency that has no respect for life and a vast contempt for the rule law has been granted expanded funding by Congress. This episode was recorded just before Christmas. As if to prove their point, this week an ICE agent killed Renee Good, a peaceful, natural born American citizen, in Minneapolis. Good was a 37-year-old mother of three and, according to her family, a devout Christian with not an unkind bone in her body. She was driving home after dropping her toddle, when she encountered an ICE raid in progress. She was shot at point blank range as she tried to get away.Mass deportation cannot happen without mass collateral damage. Good's death was not a freak accident. It was the foreseeable outcome of a system that treats visibility as provocation and accountability as an obstacle. This episode of Zooming In is about immigration policy, yes. But it's also about the deeper logic of unchecked state power. As immigrants are targeted and lose their rights, Americans will not be spared. Freedom is not divisible.A transcript of today's podcast appears below. It has been edited for flow and clarity.***Thanks for checking out The UnPopulist! Pastor John Murphy taught that we read the Bible not just to stay personally faithful, but to guard the next generation from spiritual forgetfulness by passing on God's faithfulness and works. Scripture is meant to lead us into a living relationship with God by revealing Jesus as the center of the whole story, not as a checklist, self-help tool, or religious habit. By simply and consistently praying, listening, reflecting, and praying again, ordinary people can read the Bible in a way that forms them—and those watching them—over time.

Grace saves us, and sets our sights on the Savior.
Jack and Cal break down Manchester City 3-0 West Ham, discussing a sobering afternoon in the Premier League following another defeat for Nuno's side and Leeds getting a surprise win against Crystal Palace at Elland Road. They dissect all the goals from the Etihad, talking the individual errors and tactical lapses that led to Erling Haaland's brace and Tijjani Reijnders' strike, questioning why the Hammers got exposed and why the substitutions failed to turn the tide. Jack and Cal also debate the 4-3-3 shape, whether it's time to flatten the midfield to provide better defensive width and the lack of support Oliver Scarles upon his return against Rayan Cherki. They also take at Crysencio Summerville and Freddie Potts impact and performances before finishing with a look at the chronic lack of xG creation. With all the goal-scoring pressure on Bowen and questions mounting over bench usage and the absence of younger talents, they ask the big question: how do you fix West Ham? Send me a Text Message! The angels said to the shepherds, "For a savior has been born to you..." That to you was just for them, it includes us. Listen to me, the glory of Christmas is not that God was born in a mess without a family, it's that He welcomes messy people into his family. This is Jesus' trademark. He wasn't born in a gated community or a palace with guards. He was born to us and there is no us that is not welcome to come home. Messy people have been drawn to Jesus for thousands of years, and He's been drawn to them. And because of that...your best Christmas is yet to come!
