Man it’s not complicated. People (INCLUDING ME) just avoid and don’t actually do that “thing”. Either because it’s hard or because it’s not working with the new pain pleasure system you got set up.
I tell you my life plan
What I learned from the book.
So I listened to this about 2 weeks later and the one thing I would add is obviously we are limited or “conditioned” the next question becomes how are we conditioned and is this conditioning serving us or not in different aspects of life.
Listen to what David Smith has to say for why we dehumanize other human beings.
Addiction is something that many people will struggle with. Overcoming it can be hard, but it all starts with an awareness of what you need and some action that backs it.
I walk and talk my thoughts that come into my head. This is the raw. Most of my thoughts are uneducated. I find it interesting that 10 years from now, I will be able to hear what I literally thought.

Today’s December 16, and I thought of what I would like to accomplish from now until about September. It’s not a traditional New Years resolution, but in a sense I would argue a lot of the utility that we actually get from New Years resolutions comes from just setting goals in general. My resolution: put myself in the position so that I am providing an online service and have enough money saved so I may drive around Canada in a van lol
making a podcast might be a good idea. reason being, it's such an easy way to create content for and you can easily give value in this format. One tactic is to explore "good" ideas. Also, a podcast could be a great way for you to create a relationship with another person. They will be able to get to know you plus, a lot of people like consuming this form of content!
I'm not sure if these thoughts are really deep or not but I am very interested in what others think of these thoughts. I find these thoughts to be very interesting that I was having and plan on learning more and expanding on them.
If you want to solve a problem think of what the opposite would be.

Basically, I analyzed myself to see what modalities move me the most and then I turned them on their head. I shrunk down the images and distorted the sounds that are making me do what I don’t want to do, and I expanded and made a experience vivid, where I was in the state I am currently trying to achieve. I swear to god this shit works bro
Today, we take a change of route. Not only do we learn about lucid dreaming, but we are now going to include everything. From here, I am going to be getting into fitness, and general learning.
Frist, what is a reality check? It is basically a way to tell whether or not you are dreaming. Think of it as a test. Our goal is to make it so that you do a reality check out of habit in one of your dreams. There are a few reality checks that I go over in this video, they are: Looking at your hands, looking at text, holding your nose and asking yourself mentally if you are dreaming.
Basically, make sure in the morning the first thing you do is write in your dream journal. Furthermore, when writing in your dream journal make sure to give good titles, and make it a consistent habit to write in your dream journal EVERY morning :)) Link to dream journal app (IOS) - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/dream-j...Link to dream journal app (Andriod) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/de...
Basically, you do a reality check so much that it becomes a habit. And then you do a reality check in your dream out of habit and you realize you are in a dream, and therefore can go lucid.
Ok so basically, hypnogogic imagery happens in the transition period between wakefulness and sleep. We can use this to our advantage and even go into lucid dreams when we know what to do. So while falling asleep, we want to basically try and form these images into dreams. Note that this may take some time, but if you put yourself in a meditative state while drifting to sleep, meaning you are still conscious but your body is falling asleep, you can enter straight into a lucid dream:) I will note the WBTB method will increase the chances of this method working :))
In this video I go over how you can have lucid dreams by using dream signs. When you dream there are elements of your dream that should give you a hint to the fact that you are actually dreaming. In general, there are four main categories. The first is FORM, these dream signs are generally of the nature that something in your dream is not shaped correctly. For example your chair has 5 legs rather than 4 or another example could be your car is blue in your dreams but red in the waking world. The next dream sign is ACTION. These dream signs basically mean the phyisics of the world you are in do not match with the physics of the waking world. So that could be the fact that you are running extremely fast or that gravity is not working as it should. The third dream sign is INNER AWARENESS. This is basically when you see the world differently than how you would normally. A great example is for people who have glasses sometimes dream of seeing clearly while not wearing their glasses. The last dream sign is CONTEXT, and this is basically being put into a situation that is not normal. For exmaple, you are going on a date with your high school crush who you haven't seen in years. Now once you identify your own dream signs, you just want to link that to doing a reality check. Since these are the recurring themes from your dreams, you are sure to run into them again, so the next time you are dreaming, we want it to be that the next time you see one of these things you instantly do a reality check and know whether or not you are dreaming.
So basically I am making these videos to document the process of going ham on lucid dreaming. in This video, I talk about how basically weed is bad for your REM sleep and how to have lucid dreams, smoking weed is not a good thing to do. Now, I just want to put this here: IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE JUST COMMENT DOWN BELOW.
i'm talking with my boy Jake right now so I can't write this.
