In the first lucid dreaming episode, we talked about how to wake up inside the dream. This is the next part.Lucid Dreaming Part 2 is about what happens after you become aware that you're dreaming. Staying lucid, talking to dream characters, false awakenings, sleep paralysis, nightmares, dream control, and the weird moment where the dream starts feeling less like a playground and more like a place that might actually be responding to you. This episode is part science, part dream journal, part spiritual rabbit hole. We get into lucid dreaming as a practice, but also as a doorway into meditation, subconscious symbolism, fear, attention, and the strange feeling of becoming aware inside a world your own mind is creating.Use this episode if you're interested in lucid dreaming, dream control, sleep paralysis, meditation, mystical experiences, or just the very normal question of why your brain can build an entire universe while you're unconscious.Website: https://idiotmystic.comInstagram: https://instagram.com/idiotmysticTikTok: https://tiktok.com/@idiotmysticDiscord: https://discord.gg/dXKjhZrZmM
Dive into the fascinating intersection of consciousness and creativity where the dreamworld becomes a personal “Choose Your Own Adventure” playground. For this dream, I'm joined by Dave Green to discuss Doodles in the Dark, An Artist's Guide to Lucid Dreaming. We'll investigate unique methods, focusing on the thrill of creating art directly within a lucid state rather than simply drawing after the fact. We discuss practical nightly routines such as using “interdimensional dream stationery” to maintain a sense of continuity between physical and dream realities. And we'll navigate everything from interactions with unpredictable dream characters to the profound meditative stillness of the “lucid void”. What if sleep is not just rest? In this conversation, Samantha Fey joins Andrea to explore dream visitations, lucid dreaming, astral travel, signs from loved ones, and the possibility that the soul may be active in ways we do not fully understand while we sleep. Samantha shares stories, practical tools, and spiritual perspectives on dream recall, dream incubation, nighttime protection, and the mysterious “night work” some people may be doing beyond ordinary awareness. If you have ever wondered why certain dreams feel unforgettable, why some nights leave you more tired than rested, or what your subconscious and soul may be trying to show you, this episode opens that door. ✨ Learn more about Samantha Fey: Samanthafey.comRecorded: May 4th, 2026 Episode Highlights: 00:00 - Dream Incubation Method00:46 - Show Intro and Guest02:18 - Why We Dream06:14 - Better Sleep Habits07:55 - Prayer at 3 AM10:30 - Stress Psychic Hygiene12:52 - Dream Visitations Explained15:11 - Messages You Can't Recall21:31 - Signs Coins and Feathers 25:30 - Lucid Dreaming and Astral Travel29:54 - Reiki Altered States31:20 - Higher Self vs Physical Self32:08 - Why Dreams Fade33:33 - Dream Recall Habits36:48 - Hypnagogia Doorway37:40 - Nightworker Crossover Dreams40:28 - Creativity Boosts Dreaming42:11 - Dream Incubation Method44:55 - Crystals for Recall47:33 - Protection and Nightmares50:13 - Jobs in Dream State52:36 - Collective Awakening Trends55:18 - Power Of Positive Intentions56:37 - Where To Find Samantha57:49 - Final Sign Off✨ Meet Andrea in July at Omega! ✨Our event is: Radical Rest Reset --Restore Sleep, Energy & Inner BalanceWith Jillian Pransky, Andrea Kennedy, Tom Francescott, and Robert Moss. If you've ever researched how “how to lucid dream” you'll probably see the same steps: go to sleep, wake up, write down your dreams, repeat. But author Cryrena Lee knows that it's much more than that. The real first step to lucid dreaming is lucid living. That means being present while you're awake, noticing your where your attention wanders, and cultivating awareness. In a world full of noisy distractions and rampant AI, it's no wonder that most people have trouble figuring out how to lucid dream, let alone remember their dreams. In this episode, Cyrena takes us on a journey, laying down the groundwork that makes lucid dreaming techniques successful. To Cyrena, lucid dreaming is about much more than having nighttime adventures. Tune in to learn how lucid dreaming can be used to heal trauma, solve creative problems, work through insomnia and nightmares, and improve athletic performance. Cyrena reminds us that our dreams can change the world, one small lucid shift at a time. Listen Now to 010 WTFuture - Lucid Dreaming Watch 010 WTFuture - Lucid Dreaming In this interview, researcher and author Craig Sim Webb discusses the profound utility of lucid dreaming and its role in human creativity. He shares his experiences working with Stanford dream projects and designing the Nova Dreamer, a technological tool used to help people achieve consciousness while asleep. Webb highlights how famous musicians like Paul McCartney and Billy Joel have used dreams to compose legendary songs, suggesting that sleep provides access to a collective unconscious similar to a biological internet. The conversation also explores lucid living, where individuals apply insights from their dreams to solve real-world problems and navigate personal challenges. By practicing reality checks and maintaining dream journals, Webb argues that anyone can harness their inner visions to improve intuition and inspire artistic breakthroughs. He concludes by illustrating how synchronicities—such as a dream about his father leading to an award-winning film—demonstrate the powerful connection between our sleeping and waking lives.
Dr. Andrew Holecek discusses Dark Retreat—a Tibetan Buddhist practice of spending extended periods in complete darkness—and its transformative effects on creativity, healing, and spiritual insight. Dark Retreat is “big medicine” not to be undertaken lightly. Like any retreat, its power relies on its integration. His new book on the subject is: Total Eclipse of the Mind: Unleashing the Power of Darkness for Creativity, Healing, and TransformationDr. Holecek is an interdisciplinary scholar-practitioner in Tibetan Buddhism and other nondual wisdom traditions. He is the Resident Contemplative Scholar at the Institute for Advanced Consciousness Studies, and a research consultant for the Cognitive Neuroscience Program at Northwestern University. His work involves studies on dream yoga and the practice of dark retreat. Dr. Holecek is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the author of nine books, and a concert pianist. He has completed the Tibetan Buddhist three-year retreat and is a frequent subject in scientific studies on meditation and lucid dreaming. His work integrates ancient wisdom traditions with contemporary perspectives, aiming to help individuals navigate spiritual challenges and end-of-life experiences. He is currently writing a book on “gray” retreat—a more gradual approach to dark retreat. He holds degrees in classical music, biology, and a doctorate in dental surgery. Do dreams happen in our minds? What can lucid dreaming tell us about the nature of consciousness? Dave Green is a London-based artist who creates drawings not FROM his dreams, but IN his dreams, which he re-creates upon waking. He's the author of Doodles In the Dark: An Artist's Guide to Lucid Dreaming & has participated in lucid & precognitive dream research with my other guest, Damon Abraham, PhD, a parapsychologist & the principal research scientist for the consciousness mobile app Entangled. In this episode, Dave shows us how he uses lucid dreaming to create art WHILE he's dreaming & Dr. Abraham unpacks the science of the research behind it. You'll hear about the layers of lucid dreaming, when it becomes an out of body experience & how this may be connected to precognition, the debate about where consciousness lives & why Dave is hesitant to label himself as anything other than a lucid dreaming artist. If this isn't a total hoax and MindWar-level LIE about the brain cells learning to play Doom, then the possibilities have probably already far surpassed what they are disclosing at present. The missing piece of the puzzle, the realism that comes from human understanding and cognition could be our own brains plugged into the simulation. We would be manufacturing our own most powerful illusion based on our own standards of what reality looks and feels like. The metaverse wouldn't need to attempt to guess. We would be supplying the data ourselves via anticipation. It would simply use our signals against us to make a flawless reality built for One. Each individual would experience their own reality and a shared experience. It would reinforce the realism. It would be the inescapable dream. Even if you mastered your own mind and conquered the illusion, you would still be inside the dream. There's nowhere to go. The mind is cyclical. It turns you right back to the center. Being aware of the false reality is hardly an escape hatch to break free because it's not a physical reality at all. You would only ever be able to accomplish Lucid Dreaming and it would be fleeting.619-431-0334https://vdo.ninja/?room=4roomMy site:https://SemperFryLLC.comJoin Dr. Glidden's Membership site here:https://leavebigpharmabehind.com/?via=pgndhealthCode: baalbusters for 25% OFFUse Code BB5 here for your 90 Essential Nutrients:https://www.azurestandard.com/shop/brand/azurewell/2326The Azure Whole Food Essential Nutrients are 1. If we're to believe them at face value without any scrutiny, this is the claim by Cortical Labs:"Researchers at Cortical Labs have successfully trained a cluster of 800,000 lab-grown human and mouse brain cells to play the 1970s video game Pong. In 2026, they extended this to the game Doom. This "mini-brain" sits on a silicon chip (CL1) that translates game data into electrical signals, allowing the cells to act and interact in real-time."How does one even prove that's not a hoax or fraud? The chip is determining what signals from a lump of lab grown Frankenbrain tissue is signalliing? It doesn't have eyes. It's not receiving any discernable stimuli to react to, and even if it was there's a LOT of liberties being taken by said circuit to translate those reactions into gameplay. Personally I think it's a parlor trick. But I do not think it's insignificant. They're releasing this information to the public for some reason. Could it be they are signalling to our brains rather than the lump of Frankenbrain clusters to convey a much darker purpose for mankind moving forward? Could it be a foreshadowing of our future relationship with computing and Artificial Intelligence? Are we the missing component in making AI more rational, and give it the human quality necessary for convincing illusions in their Metaverse? Will we be used to deceive ourselves? Are we the final ingredient for the AI Data Centers? Is this going to be an involuntary mental and physical enslavement in these massive facilities? Will they be using our whole body, or just hacking us up and taking our skulls and brains? In this episode of the Dream World Podcast, I sit down with dream worker, storyteller, and researcher Andrusa Lawson for a deep conversation on dream recall, shadow work, lucid dreaming, collective consciousness, and the sacred nature of the dream space. We reflect on the importance of finding spaces where dreamwork, vulnerability, and collective exploration can exist safely and authentically. Andrusa speaks on the challenges of doing deeply personal and transformative work in a world shaped by survival, inequality, distraction, and systems that often overlook or silence marginalized voices. Rather than rushing to expand dream technologies or communities, he emphasizes the need for environments rooted in trust, care, inclusion, and genuine human connection — spaces where people can engage with the dreaming without fear of judgment, exploitation, or having their experiences dismissed.Andrusa shares his experiences growing up in a family that actively shared dreams, how dreams became a tool for navigating trauma and connection, and why he believes dreaming may be one of the most accessible gateways into self-awareness and healing. We explore his concept of “dream cartography” — mapping recurring dreamscapes and navigating the dream world through lucidity, symbolism, and intention.✨ Subscribe for more conversations exploring lucid dreaming, consciousness, dream science, mythology, spirituality, and the mysteries of the mind.FREE LINK TO MY ONLINE COURSE: ($200 value) expires June 15thSend us Fan MailSupport the showFollow The Dream World PodcastVisit Our WebsiteInstagram @TheDreamWorldPodcastTik Tok @aminasdreamworldSpotifyFacebookLucid Dreaming Online Course

In this episode, Caesar sits down with Steve Barnes of the Sweet Child of Time podcast for a wide-ranging conversation that bridges the gap between creative production and the depths of the subconscious. The two explore the technical hurdles of music and podcasting, comparing notes on how to build an authentic audience in an increasingly saturated digital landscape. A major highlight of the discussion is a deep dive into the philosophy of dreaming, where Steve shares his dream-theories and his unique experiences with a sense of purpose within his dreams. They also touch on the "in-between" states of consciousness and how meditation can offer glimpses into alternate dimensions. To wrap things up, Steve provides a list of binge-worthy TV recommendations, ranging from complex German thrillers to documentaries. In this episode of The Dream World Podcast, I'm joined by Jeanie Love, a transpersonal trauma therapist and licensed psychedelic facilitator, to explore the powerful intersection between dreams, psychedelics, and healing. Jeanie is a trauma-informed therapist, psychedelic facilitator, and retreat host supporting individuals and couples through their authentic unfolding. Her integrative approach bridges psychology and spirituality, knowing when to lean into a more grounded, nervous system based approach versus a transpersonal approach. Jeanie shares her work guiding clients through altered states of consciousness using modalities like ketamine and psilocybin, and how these experiences can support deep emotional processing, trauma healing, and personal transformation. We also dive into the fascinating parallels between psychedelic journeys and the dream state—both as tools for accessing the subconscious and making meaning from symbolic experiences. We discuss:What psychedelic-assisted therapy looks like in practiceHow dreams become more vivid before and after psychedelic journeysThe role of integration and meaning-making after altered statesWhy facilitators avoid imposing interpretationThe balance between control and surrender in dreams and psychedelicsSigns of resistance and how the mind copes in altered statesCommon themes like ego death, flow, and interconnectednessDream incubation vs intention setting in psychedelic workHow to know if this type of therapy is right for youThe future of psychedelic therapy and consciousness explorationJeanie also explains how healing doesn't come from being told the answers—but from learning how to sit with the experience and allow meaning to unfold naturally.
In this episode of The Dream World Podcast, I'm joined by author and researcher David J. Brown and artist and futurist Sara Phinn Huntley to explore the fascinating world of DMT entities. We dive into their collaborative book, The Illustrated Field Guide to DMT Entities, and discuss the recurring beings reported across psychedelic journeys, lucid dreams, meditation, and other altered states of consciousness. From machine elves and mantis beings to mythological archetypes, this conversation explores the overlap between science, spirituality, and subjective experience.Together, we discuss:What DMT is and why it's called “the spirit molecule”Common entities reported across DMT experiencesThe famous “machine elves” and mantis beingsParallels between DMT, lucid dreaming, and meditationWhether these entities exist independently of the mindHarm reduction and responsible explorationUsing dreams as a natural gateway to altered statesThe intersection of art, technology, and psychedelic researchDavid and Sara also share how they cataloged hundreds of reports from research, folklore, and personal experiences to create a visual “field guide” to non-human intelligences encountered in altered states. This episode explores one of the biggest questions in consciousness research:Are these beings psychological archetypes — or something more?
What if your brain is solving problems, strengthening memory, and shaping creativity while you sleep—without you even knowing it? In this deep‑dive conversation, cognitive neuroscientist Dr. Ken Paller joins Katherine Bell on The Dream Journal to explore groundbreaking research on memory reactivation during sleep, lucid dreaming, dream engineering, and how ancient Tibetan dream yoga practices intersect with modern neuroscience. Dr. Paller is a professor of psychology and director of the Cognitive Neuroscience Program at Northwestern University. His lab was among the first to demonstrate that memories can be reactivated and strengthened during sleep using subtle sounds—a method known as Targeted Memory Reactivation (TMR). This research reveals how sleep improves learning, creativity, emotional processing, and even problem‑solving. Together, we explore: How the brain processes memories during deep sleep and REM sleep Whether sound and sensory cues can influence dreams The science behind lucid dreaming and two‑way communication with dreamers How dreams contribute to creativity, insight, and psychological well‑being What Tibetan monks practicing dream yoga can teach neuroscience about consciousness This episode bridges cutting‑edge sleep science, experiential dreamwork, and ancient contemplative traditions, offering a powerful new lens on why dreams matter—even when we don't remember them. “Sleep can be helpful even if we don't fully understand how it works.” — Dr. Ken Paller ⏱️ Timestamped Chapters 00:00 – Dreams, Awakening, & Why Dreams Matter How dreams influence waking life—even when we don't understand them 02:10 – Meet Dr. Ken Paller & the Science of Sleep Memory research, sleep neuroscience, and dream modification 03:20 – Memory Reactivation During Sleep (TMR Explained) How the brain strengthens learning while you sleep 05:00 – Can Sounds Improve Memory & Skill Learning? #409 In this episode, Guy introduced a deep conversation with Welsh guest Mark TJ Kean, who calls himself a full-time "professional wizard" and links dragons and serpents to kundalini and the spiral "fabric of reality," which he says Druids understood. Mark described a 2003 awakening in London after obsessing over ancient Egypt: staring at a light, he received a "download" about the Great Pyramid's relationship to light, frequency, and out-of-body travel, followed by two weeks of bliss and a turn to alchemy, Kabbalah, and kundalini yoga. He recounted spontaneous astral experiences, a lucid-dream retreat where he rode a giant serpent into space, and his "Celtic chakras" interpretation of Arthurian spinning castles and the Holy Grail as the heart center. He also shared living in Panama's jungle during the pandemic, a solo mountain vision quest, and becoming fully dedicated to his courses at Sleeping Serpent. About Mark: Following a Spiritual awakening in 2003, Mark shares wisdom from two decades of experience with practicing and teaching Spirituality. Highly trained in Kundalini Yoga, Kundalini Dance, Shamanism, Meditation, Lucid Dreaming, Alchemy, Magic, Druidry, and many other Spiritual and Esoteric subjects. He re-imagines ancient wisdom practices for the modern world, such as Shamanic Dragon Yoga and Ancient Egyptian Serpent Shamanism. He is the co-creator of the popular Kundalini Clubbing events in the UK. He teaches all over the world, and has over 20,000 online students, in every country in the world. He helps spiritual seekers go from feeling stagnant in their spiritual development, and disconnected from their life mission, to experiencing Spiritual awakening and transformation, by embodying ancient wisdom practices. This journey enables them to unlock their potential, achieve deep contentment, and harness their newfound spiritual energy and creativity toward living their life mission fully. Daniel Tausan holds a graduate degree from the University of British Columbia in Stem Cell Biology with a Bachelor of Science in General Biology. He worked in research in the molecular profiling of exercise, looking into comprehensive blood panels in search of biomarkers for predictive health analytics with Molecular You and UBC's School of Kinesiology to develop methods for biological age calculation. What if your dreams weren't random… but rehearsal for awakening? In this episode of Why Isn't Everyone Doing This?, Emily sits down with lucid dreaming teacher Mia Lux for a rich and provocative conversation about dream yoga, shadow integration, trauma healing, and preparing for death. Mia shares how her fear of death led her into lucid dreaming and how the practice became one of the most powerful tools for integrating trauma, working with PTSD, and accessing deeper layers of consciousness. Rather than dismissing dreams as meaningless, Mia invites us to see them as an accelerated path of self-inquiry. A way to work directly with the subconscious. A laboratory for transformation that requires no substances and no intermediary. Key Moments: 00:00:00 — Dream yoga and dying before you die 00:02:10 — Why we ignore one-third of our lives 00:05:20 — Shadow integration through dreaming 00:08:15 — PTSD and trauma healing 00:18:00 — Lucid dreaming vs. Hollywood fantasy 00:36:00 — Medicine work without medicine 00:48:10 — How to begin practicing 00:58:00 — Integration and closing reflections If you're curious about consciousness, healing, or what becomes possible when you stop dismissing your dreams, this episode offers both inspiration and practical insight. For Those Feeling the Call to Go Deeper The integration Mia speaks about — nervous system capacity, shadow work, sustained awareness — is the foundation of Ziva Level 3. Ziva Level 3 is for practitioners ready to embody what they practice. To move beyond peak states and into stabilized integration. Applications are now open.

We're tiptoeing towards the sci-fi end of things this week, with Justin C. Key and The Hospital at the End of the World. This is a techn-othriller about AI run amok in the medical establishment, and the junior doctor who must navigate a shadowy conspiracy, a fatal (and horrific) disease, all whilst making time for class at the sole human-led teaching hospital left in the country. It's a lot. And a lot of fun – when it's not ambushing me with one of my greatest medical phobias!!! Justin and I talk about the real horrors of his medical school experience, what he's learned about human connection from his work in psychiatry, and we have that rare thing – a genuinely nuanced conversation about the role of AI in society. Andrea Samadi revisits a conversation with neuroscientist Dr. Baland Jalal about how curiosity launched his career and how transitional sleep states fuel creativity. The episode explores sleep paralysis research and the hypnagogic window—the moments before sleep and after waking when the brain makes unexpected connections. This week, Episode 384—based on our review of Episode 224, recorded in June 2022—we'll explore: ✔ Why learning, creativity, and curiosity depend on a regulated nervous system ✔ How sleep—especially REM—creates the conditions for insight and problem-solving ✔ What happens in the brain when focus shuts down and imagination turns on ✔ Why safety, rhythm, and rest are prerequisites for learning—not rewards after it ✔ How understanding sleep changes the way we approach performance, education, and growth Listeners learn practical tips for capturing insights at the edge of sleep, setting intentions before bed, and protecting morning silence to preserve creative flashes. The episode emphasizes that learning and creativity emerge best when the nervous system feels safe and regulated. This episode launches Season 15's Phase 1 focus on regulation and safety, framing sleep, rhythm, and emotional regulation as the essential foundation for motivation, learning, and sustained performance. Welcome back to Season 15 of the Neuroscience Meets Social and Emotional Learning Podcast. I'm Andrea Samadi, and here we bridge the science behind social and emotional learning, emotional intelligence, and practical neuroscience—so you can create measurable improvements in well-being, achievement, productivity, and results. When we launched this podcast seven years ago, it was driven by a question I had never been taught to ask— not in school, not in business, and not in life: If results matter—and they matter now more than ever—how exactly are we using our brain to make these results happen? Most of us were taught what to do. Very few of us were taught how to think under pressure, how to regulate emotion, how to sustain motivation, or even how to produce consistent results without burning out. That question led me into a deep exploration of the mind–brain–results connection—and how neuroscience applies to everyday decisions, conversations, and performance. That's why this podcast exists. Each week, we bring you leading experts to break down complex science and translate it into practical strategies you can apply immediately. If you've been with us through Season 14, you may have felt something shift. That season wasn't about collecting ideas. It was about integrating these ideas into our daily life. Across conversations on neuroscience, social and emotional learning, sleep, stress, exercise, nutrition, and mindset frameworks—from voices like Bob Proctor, José Silva, Dr. Church, Dr. John Medina, and others—one thing became clear: These aren't separate tools. They're parts of one operating system. When the brain, body, and emotions are aligned, performance stops feeling forced—and starts to feel sustainable. Season 14 showed us what alignment looks like in real life. And now we move into Season 15 that is about understanding how that alignment is built—so we can build it ourselves, using predictable, science-backed principles. Because alignment doesn't happen all at once. It happens by using a sequence. By repeating this sequence over and over again, until magically (or predictably) we notice our results have changed. So this season, we're revisiting past conversations—not to repeat them—but to understand how they fit together, so we can replicate them ourselves. Because the brain doesn't develop skills in isolation. Learning doesn't happen in isolation. And neither does performance, resilience, or well-being. The brain operates as a set of interconnected systems. When one system is out of balance, everything else is affected. So Season 15 we've organized as a review roadmap, where each episode explores one foundational brain system—and each phase builds on the one before it. Season 15 Roadmap: Phase 1 — Regulation & Safety Phase 2 — Neurochemistry & Motivation Phase 3 — Movement, Learning & Cognition Phase 4 — Perception, Emotion & Social Intelligence Phase 5 — Integration, Insight & Meaning Today we begin with Phase One: Regulation and Safety. Because before learning can happen, before curiosity can emerge, before motivation or growth is possible— the brain must feel safe. That's where we are today as we embark on this journey together. I encourage us all to take notes, and apply what each phase is encouraging us to do. This is not just for you, the listener, I'm going right back myself, and revisiting each interview with a new lens. PHASE 1: REGULATION & SAFETY Staples: Sleep + Stress Regulation Core Question: Is the nervous system safe enough to learn? Anchor Episodes Episode 384 — Baland Jalal How learning begins: curiosity, sleep, imagination, creativity Bruce Perry “What happened to you?” — trauma, rhythm, relational safety Sui Wong Autonomic balance, lifestyle medicine, brain resilience Rohan Dixit HRV, real-time self-regulation, nervous system literacy EPISODE 384 — REVIEW OF EP 224 (JUNE 2022) Revisiting Our Interview with Baland Jalal Today's Episode 384 we go back to Episode 224[i], recorded in June 2022, featuring Danish neuroscientist Dr. Baland Jalal—a researcher, author, and one of the world's leading experts on sleep paralysis. Dr. Jalal is a neuroscientist affiliated with Harvard University's Department of Psychology and was previously a Visiting Researcher at Cambridge University Medical School, where he earned his PhD. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Washington Post, BBC, NBC News, The Guardian, Forbes, Reuters, PBS (NOVA), and many others. He also writes for TIME Magazine, Scientific American, Big Think, and The Boston Globe. Since our original interview, I've watched Dr. Jalal's influence expand globally. Most recently, he appeared on Jordan B. Peterson's podcast[ii], discussing Dreams, Nightmares, and Neuroscience, and on Lewis Howes' School of Greatness[iii], where he explored Dreams, Lucid Dreaming, and the Neuroscience of Consciousness—an episode that truly stretched Lewis's thinking. What stood out to me most—then and now—was Dr. Jalal's transparency about learning. At the beginning of his interview with Lewis Howes, Dr. Jalal shared how a single experience—his desire to understand his own episodes of sleep paralysis more than 20 years ago—sparked a lifelong curiosity. That curiosity led him to his local library in Copenhagen and ultimately transformed his entire career path in ways he could never have imagined as a young man spending time on the streets. That honesty resonated deeply with me. Before Google, I remember sitting in a local library in Arizona around that same time, trying to understand the mysteries of the world—from the Great Pyramid of Giza to Stonehenge—reading everything I could get my hands on. Like Dr. Jalal, I was curious about many things I didn't understand, but my path didn't start with neuroscience or learning science, which came later for me. We all begin somewhere. Let's go to our first clip from Dr. Baland Jalal, where he shares how his love of learning truly began.

Welcome back to Behind Greatness. We had loads of fun in this conversation. Robert Wagonner joins us from his home in the Midwest. He is a veteran lucid dreamer, having taught himself how to do it in the '70s and never looked back. Robert elaborates on the lucid state as being an educational system. He discussed "buzzing" while having an out of body experience as a young boy, his brother's book and the Monroe Institute, flying through his neighborhood, house cats and mountain lions. We hear about the mysterious "N4" (144), the mentally mediated realm, following the creativity and the blue light. We explore the magic of goofiness, fear, becoming an electron, the search for inherent evil, Daoist societies, "going the distance" and the voluntary death experience. What a trip. "Doubt is gravity". The spiritual realm is a dangerous place if you seek it out for the wrong reasons. Vicki Joy Anderson discusses the dangers of lucid dreaming, astral projection, and other strange New Age practices, with a particular focus on sleep paralysis. Vicki is also the author of They Only Come Out at Night: Exploring the Dark Weapon of Sleep Paralysis. She also shares more insight into her personal story, focusing on the trauma she experienced as an infant and how that shaped and impacted her emotional and spiritual well-being. Our time sleeping is meant to nourish and replenish our souls, not expose us to dangerous spiritual attacks. Many people are suffering in their unconscious hours of sleep and never realize how much it's affecting their active functional hours.TAKEAWAYSLucid dreaming is something the New Age movement has promoted as a good thing, but it can be very dangerousDemonic forces often lurk in the shadows during our most vulnerable stateWhen we sleep, our prefrontal cortex gets the rest it needs so that we can get a break from daily decision-makingBe on the lookout for witchcraft content on social media, which teaches children damaging New Age demonic practices

In this powerful and delightfully unpredictable episode of Gateways to Awakening, Yasmeen Turayhi sits down with filmmaker, writer, and creative provocateur Bobby Kennedy III, son of RFK, to explore one of the most wide-ranging conversations in our show's history spanning politics, spirituality, satire, lucid dreaming, hidden narratives, and his new book The Confessions of Anthony Fauci. From the moment the episode begins (and yes, includes a hilarious “restart” moment due to a bio mix-up), Bobby opens the door to a candid and unfiltered dialogue. “You can't wake up a society without first waking up your own shadow. DREAM WITH US, and we'll teach you how to interpret them!Lucid dreaming is an interesting ego state when we are dreaming and regain full self-awareness. Being awake in the dream world can be useful, but imposing a rigid agenda can undermine the Dream Maker's attempts to educate and help us. Each dream is crafted to incrementally expand our awareness and acceptance of unconscious factors we need in order to grow. When we wake inside a dream, we can lose track of that important attitude and may use the dream as our playground—most people try to fly and miss significant opportunities. If we can achieve a non-grasping clarity, lucidity can deepen our inner work by enabling us to engage dream figures with the full measure of our curiosity. Researchers have various suggestions for increasing the frequency of Lucid Dreams, and ancient traditions like Dream Yoga help the aspirant learn about their mental structures. Attaining access to the inner worlds is similar to Jung's Active Imagination and can yield comparable or even better results. This is possible if we adopt a proper dream ethic: respect the dream as an autonomous process and use lucidity to inquire and relate, not to dominate.Read along with the dream HERE.Find the books we reference HERE.LOOK & GROWJoin THIS JUNGIAN LIFE DREAM SCHOOLDo you have a topic you want us to cover?WE NEED YOUR HELP!
