Today we break down why barbell hip thrusts/bridges often backfire during rehab—not because the rep itself is “bad,” but because the setup and dismount force uncontrolled rounding, plate shuffling, and awkward bar moves that can spike your lumbar load. Then we show the smarter path: use squat & hip-hinge patterns to rebuild a still, braced spine you can use in real life, and progress through Phase 1 ,2 , 3 , 4 with clear readiness checks (e.g., keeping up with 5×10 live pace, aggravation-free). We also cover why range vs load isn't a 50/50 race (build load tolerance first), what 40–90% more load when sitting really means, when inversion tables fit (relief, not strength), and practical Q&A from members.

Erasure of Gay History & How We LOST Our Identity | Pierre d'Alancaisez & Amir Naaman. Today's world of PrEP, Pride parades, and gay marriage eclipses the wildest dreams of the sexual revolution. While it was formerly deviant to promote gay lifestyles, it is now ‘problematic' to suggest that not all departures from the norm are in the homosexual's best interest. Amidst this excess, a new wave of discontent rises among the once-keenest proponents of sexual progress: gay men. What happened in the transition from inversion to homosexuality, gayness, and queerness? Why do some gay men lament the freedoms afforded to them by sexual and social acceptance? Bold and daring, the essays in Inversion reflect on the vicious cycle of debasement, acceptance, sacrifice, and liberation that homosexuality has been stuck in for longer than it wishes to acknowledge.

This hypersonic vehicle, targeting military applications, promises unprecedented rapid delivery capabilities and could redefine space logistics as we know it.Uncertain Future for Juno: NASA's Juno probe, which has been orbiting Jupiter since 2016, faces an uncertain future due to the ongoing US Government shutdown. The potential early end of its mission could create a significant observational gap for Jupiter, raising concerns about the impact of political and budgetary issues on vital scientific research.New Insights on Early Earth: A recent study suggests that a cataclysmic collision with a Mars-sized object named Theia played a crucial role in making early Earth habitable by delivering essential volatile compounds. This new perspective emphasizes that a planet's habitability is influenced not only by its distance from its star but also by its chaotic historical events.Stalled European Satellite Merger: Talks between major European aerospace companies Airbus, Thales, and Leonardo to merge their satellite manufacturing capabilities have stalled due to disagreements over control and work share. This setback could hinder Europe's competitiveness in the global space market, particularly against entities like Elon Musk's Starlink.Martian Comet Sighting: NASA's Perseverance rover may have captured an image of interstellar comet 3i Atlas, coinciding with its closest approach to Mars. This unprecedented observation offers a unique opportunity to study an interstellar object from another planet, although initial speculations of alien spacecraft have been humorously debunked by scientists. For more cosmic updates, visit our website at astronomydaily.io.

Bloodlines carry more than history—they carry power. But what happens when that power is inverted through ritual? In this episode, Bloodlines & Inversion Rituals, we uncover the hidden forces shaping authority, identity, and reality itself. The faceless mask of power—split between masculine and feminine, life and decay—becomes the symbol of a system designed to distort creation. Behind it, crowns fracture, chains twist into DNA, and ritual becomes control. Are we witnessing tradition… or a carefully orchestrated inversion of truth?

Year Of The Opposite - Travis Stoliker's Substack Podcast

Early Monday morning, a person entered our car and searched through it looking for items to steal. They didn't find anything worth taking, but our neighbors weren't as lucky. Several of them had things stolen from their vehicles. We alerted the police and shared our video footage in hopes it would help track down the thief. And, as is common now, we posted the videos to our local Facebook groups to warn neighbors and see if anyone else had been hit.It turns out the suspect may have broken into hundreds of cars, covering multiple miles from at least 3:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m.Most of the comments we received were supportive and helpful. People tried to identify the suspect and reminded others to stay alert. But there's a different kind of response that shows up too. “Maybe lock your doors and keep valuables out.” “When will people learn to lock their doors?”Those types of comments got a lot of likes, and they're not uncommon. When our window was broken at Slice by Saddleback and the cash register stolen, people said we deserved it because we hadn't left the till open to show there was no cash inside.A few things are true here. Yes, we could have locked our doors. That's correct. But it's also true that it's not our fault someone tried to steal from us.This is called moral inversion. It's similar to the old lines like, “She shouldn't have dressed that way if she didn't want to get attacked,” or “You shouldn't walk through that neighborhood if you don't want to get robbed.”It's victim blaming. It flips the morality around. It implies that unless we secure every item and lock every door, we are responsible for the actions of people who break the law. That kind of thinking erodes trust. And trust is what community depends on.When I walk down the street with my kids, I trust that drivers won't run us over. When I eat at a restaurant, I trust that nobody put something disgusting in my food. We rely on each other, every day, in thousands of small ways.A world without trust is a world where we wall ourselves off from each other, where we assume everyone is a threat. That's not the world I want to live in, and it's not what I want for my family.I want us to live in a high trust society where we believe in the goodness of our neighbors. I want to live in a world where our kids can ride their bike to school and eat halloween candy from their friends and neighbors. I'm willing to take that risk because even though there are monsters out there, their numbers are small. And I'd rather live life giving the benefit of the doubt to the amazing people all around me, even the strangers, than assuming that everyone is a monster out to attack me. Yes, I might get let down now and then. A window might get broken. Something might get taken. But if the cost of trust is an occasional setback, it's still far cheaper than letting fear run my life. A few bad nights aren't worth poisoning all the good ones. I'd rather face the risk of a broken window than live with a broken worldview.Year Of The Opposite - Travis Stoliker's Substack is a reader-supported publication. Looking around in 2025, it's hard not to see the outright rejection of classical beauty. From Art to Architecture, fashion to physical beauty trends, it is clear that something has been lost in societies perception of beauty. But this is not a new phenomenon. As society has rejected truth, it has also rejected the concept of objective beauty. Today we will discuss where this hatred for the beautiful came from, why it has become so pervasive, and how to deal with a world that calls ugly things beautiful and beautiful things oppression.-----⭐ SPONSOR: Good Ranchers Serve only the best meat to fuel your family this school year! “Repeatability is the biggest hurdle in time-lapse monitoring, but it's also where the opportunity lies. 4D FWI can help address those repeatability challenges.” On this episode, Andrew Geary sits down with Madhav Vyas and Kris Innanen, guest editors for July's The Leading Edge special section on 4D full-waveform inversion. They explain how 4D FWI goes beyond traditional differencing by fully inverting wavefields, making time-lapse seismic more robust against survey inconsistencies and complex overburden. Listeners will learn why now is the perfect time to adopt 4D FWI, the main technical hurdles around repeatability and uncertainty, and the first steps to take for reservoir monitoring and survey design. KEY TAKEAWAYS > 4D FWI inverts the full wavefield - reflections, refractions, diving waves, multiples - to detect reservoir changes, making it more robust than conventional 4D processing. > Repeatability of surveys and assessing uncertainty are the biggest challenges, but workflows like hypothesis testing, batch FWI, and null-space shuttling help mitigate inversion noise. > High-quality data and accurate physics (elasticity, attenuation, anisotropy) are essential; advances in GPU-driven computation enable faster iterations and richer uncertainty analysis. He explains how hitting rock bottom in 2013 inspired him to reject mainstream dietary advice and embrace a primal, whole foods approach that reversed his insulin resistance and helped him lose over 100 pounds.A major theme of the conversation is heart-brain coherence, which Larry describes as essential for true wisdom and discernment. He connects this to ancient teachings, referencing Yeshua's “sword of discernment” and suggesting that Western culture intentionally suppressed this knowledge to keep people in fear and mental fragmentation. The episode explores the alchemical journey as a metaphor for inner transformation, likening it to Joseph Campbell's hero's journey. Larry emphasizes integrating masculine and feminine energies and overcoming ego as key steps in remembering our divine nature and embodying authenticity.Larry critiques scientism, which he calls the inversion of true science, and encourages listeners to reclaim citizen science as a path to health sovereignty. He shares practical tools like testing for C-reactive protein, A1C, fasting insulin, and using triglycerides-to-HDL ratios to assess metabolic health. He identifies the “Big Four” dietary culprits—seed oils, refined carbs, ultra-processed foods, and sugar—as drivers of chronic illness and advocates returning to ancestral foods rich in natural fats and nutrients. He stresses that flavor and enjoyment are critical for sustainable healing. On the spiritual side, Larry reframes the Abrahamic religions as distortions of deeper wisdom traditions, contrasting the figure of Yeshua (aligned with love and sovereignty) with the institutionalized Jesus narrative. He highlights the divine feminine, Sophia, as a source of intuition and co-creation with the cosmos. Finally, Larry encourages listeners to “write your own gospel and live your own myth,” seeing authentic, kind, and sovereign living as both a spiritual and practical act of resistance to what he calls the parasite class—forces of fear and manipulation seeking to block human awakening.

Sciatic nerve pain can be caused by a protruded disc, scar tissue on the nerve root, arthritis, an injury, or extended periods of sitting. Poor posture, excess driving, and aging can also contribute to the problem.Inversion uses the weight of your upper body to pull down on your lower back, creating negative pressure and increasing blood flow. This also breaks up adhesions and scar tissue. For the quickest lower back pain relief, try intermittent inversion traction. This involves inverting your body for 1 to 2 minutes and then repeatedly returning to an upright position. It can significantly reduce sciatic nerve pain by targeting the nerve, disc, scar tissue, and blood flow all at once.Research has shown that inversion therapy increases flexibility, reduces the risk of surgery for sciatica, and can relieve lower back pain better than medication. If you have high blood pressure, glaucoma, or heart problems, check with your doctor before doing inversion therapy. Start slow with inversion therapy. Begin with a gentle angle of 15–30 degrees for just 1–2 minutes, once or twice a day for the first week. Gradually work up to 5 minutes at a time (in 1-minute intervals) at a 60-degree angle over the next 1–2 weeks. After 3–4 weeks, you can try full inversion for 15–20 minutes, broken into 2-minute intervals, three to four times per week.Intermittent inversion traction will leave you feeling taller with less sciatic nerve pain. You'll also feel like you've had a fantastic stretch! Other ways to eliminate sciatica pain include:•Following a low-carb ketogenic diet•Take 20,000 to 30,000 IU of vitamin D3 and 400 mg of magnesium glycinate (include vitamin K2)•Eliminate omega-6 seed oils from your diet•Perform myofascial stretching You can also perform sciatica stretches without an inversion table! Try the child's pose with blankets, a wall-assisted leg-up stretch, or lying spinal decompression with a stability ball for sciatic nerve pain relief. Swimming can also be very therapeutic.
