This week Harley and Zuff talk about the recent streaming platform wars between Twitch and Mixer. They discuss Ninja's view on it and how they think it affects the current state of streaming. We discuss the Tyler “Ninja” Blevins move and also Shroud’s move from Twitch to Mixer. We discuss the steps and aftermath that happened with Ninja’s move and how it differed from Shroud’s move. We go on to discuss the possible reasons and deals that might have taken place and also the trends that are starting to happen with well known streamers now shopping around deals with other streaming services. This week we put Zaff through some therapy, specifically Overwatch Loot Box Therapy (inspired by Unbox Therapy). We talk about why he as hoarded so many and try to uncover his mindset when it comes to collectibles within games. Today we touch on a few few different topics. Harley starts us off on the new trailers for Death stranding. (it still reveals literally nothing about the story). Zuff is still not convinced this game has anything of substance. This then leads us into console exclusive games and if it’s needed. We also touch on the amount of Game launchers for exclusive games that are needed on PC to play these games now, surely there is a simpler way. Zuff leads us into a discussion about micro-transactions and how it is promoting gambling in young children within games. Why do big games have to do that ? Zuff is very much a Marvel Fan with Deadpool being his absolute favourite, he believes Marvel is the master race and they could do no wrong.
