Originally published: September 3, 2018 In this episode, Geek Tank opens Pandora's Box and dons their armchair philosopher caps, as they discuss the Big C: Consciousness. They speculate the big questions regarding its origins, the implications, why it exists in the first place, and more. Put on your thinking cap, and prepare to wander down the rabbit hole—unanswerable questions lie in wait! An added note: this discussion asserts no beliefs as fact. It is merely a discussion of ideas, and should be taken with a grain of salt. These are questions no one can adequately answer, and we are no exception to this rule. That said, we encourage discussion, and would love to hear your ideas as well!

Geek Tank #1 - Top Movies of 2017

Originally published: June 24, 2018 Wow, what a blast to the past for us. Bear in mind, as we re-upload these episodes, we're taken back to the time we filmed them—which feels like so long ago now! We were far more camera shy (still are, though), we fumbled a lot (still do), and our gear was extremely low-tech. Fun fact: we were recording with our phones! Regardless, we always enjoy recording despite nervous jitters and our lack of script (it's all improv, baby!), and with the right temporal distance from things, they seem better now than they did then. What I'm trying to say is, we don't think this was too bad for a first official video! Remember that our list of movies for this year was only our opinions, and I should stress that our opinions may have changed...but whether that's the case is something you'll have to find out later. Try asking us if you really want to know! And also, while you're at it, let us know what were your favorite or least favorite movies from 2017. Or since we're in 2019 now, tell us about what you recently saw!

Hello, everyone! Welcome to Geek Tank, the podcast where everything is a matter of geek. For those of you who already know our show from our YouTube channel and various other social media, we have finally made good on our promise to get ourselves set up on Podbean, so we are finally a bonafide podcast. Thank you all for your patience.  For those of you who are new to the show, welcome! Geek Tank is called the place where everything is a matter of geek because what our show runs on is passion. We love what we do, and we love to talk about subjects we love. The name Geek Tank is a play on think tank. Geeking out to us is to gush about whatever it is you're passionate about, which could be anything! The sky's the limit! Hopefully in the future, we'll have more people on the show (perhaps even you!) as we build this show into the platform we want it to be--a place where everyone has the chance to voice their passions and opinions. Be sure to check out the rest of our episodes, which we've imported over from YouTube (you can also find us there if you prefer the vlog format), and we look forward to what's to come!
